Q and A with myself….feel free to add, take away, elaborate or question
Trinitarians believe YHWH, Jesus, and the Holy Spirit are co-equal entities or manifestations of God….The Supreme Being of all things.
Anti-trinitarians believe there is only one God, who reached out to mankind through his Son, and continues to reach out through The Holy Spirit. They believe Jesus and The Holy Spirit COME from YHWH but are not equal to him.
Trini
Jesus had to be god or else what is the significance of his death? How can a mere man's death reconcile us to God, unless he was God in flesh.Anti-Trini Answer
Jesus is the first born of all creation. He was a perfect being that was made to reflect God in all ways. Through him the worlds were made. In comparison to creation, Jesus is certainly God(title) to all things…but he is not God(YHWH) himself. So his death was perfectly suffice for our salvation…Everything God stood for, died and was shamed to the glory of mankind.Trini
In the beginning was the word, the word was with god, the word was god, and the word was made fleshAnti-trini Answer
If a shoe is made of leather, and leather is shiny, is the shoe shiny? You can't answer that because you don't know if we are talking about entity or something that was “made that way”….If the word was with God, the word was God, and the word was made flesh you don't know if“The Word was God”
refers to The Word was God in entity…
The Proclaimed word (The actual message) was GodIf you understand that Logos means divine discourse of the universe…then also apply that, Jesus was created first…and ALL things were made through him.
Then it reinforces that Jesus is the divine discourse of the universe.
So it doesn't elaborate if there is anything greater than the Logos
It basically states that Jesus is the God of the universe. Which we know to be true whether if you think he's YHWH or Not.
The question is, is he equal to YHWH or less.
Trini Jesus was credited with creation so he has to be God, because YHWH said he created the universe…so they must be one in the same
Anti-Trini Answer
Jesus came from YHWH, who then made the worlds through Jesus. If I start a business, then pass it over to my son…and my son changed the world through this world changing business….who gets the credit?Without me, my son wouldn't of changed the world, without my son, the world still wouldn't of been changed…does that make me and my son the same person? No, although it took both of us to create and change the world through this magnificent business.
Trini Jesus said before Abraham I was…this is was God said to the Jews…so he must be God if they both use the same statement to identify themselves
Anti Trini Answer A better statement would be, “I am God.”
Trini All knees are to bow down to Jesus, worship is only reserved for YHWH, and didn't God say…ya'll shall have no God before me?
Anti-Trini AnswerWell we know Jesus is the reflection of The Invisible God. When you interact with a reflection, you're really interacting with whomever the reflection is of…Don't believe me? Go look in the mirror and start interacting…then tell me who you're interacting with…
Therefore if you interact with Jesus, you interact with God himself…Does that make Jesus God? No more than your mirror is actually you. Also no God before me means you will not esteem any being greater than YHWH himself.
If you have questions, feel free to post…I believe I have answers…
