    This Good News of the Kingdom!
    Is it really Good News to this World?

    As it turns out, this good news of the kingdom, just happens to be, the worst news that this World has, or ever will receive. One of Christendoms Songs during the Christmas season, is”Joy to the World, the Lord has come, let earth receive their King.” Now, does the arrival of this King in question really bring joy to this world, as we know it? Do the majority of the people of this earth, really receive their king? That song continues: “Let every heart prepare him room” Do the people of this world really do that? Do they prepare him room? Not from what I read in the Bible, they don't! Not from what the Bible teaches they don't either. Quite the contrary as a matter of fact! They never prepared him room in the first Century. They still do not prepare him room!

    Lets look at three scriptures that speaks about the arrival of this ruling king, and note what effect this kings arrival really has on mankind. As it turns out, it is quite the opposite from what this particular songs brings out, for this a time period of stark terror for this World, as these following scriptures brings out.

    At Matthew 24:29,30 we find this description of the time period that the Christ actually does come into kingdom power: “Immediately after the tribulation of those days the Sun will be darkened, and the Moon will not give its light, {no spiritual light from any source} and the Stars will fall from the heavens, and the powers of the heavens will be shaken. And then the sign of the Son of Man will appear in heaven, and then ALL THE TRIBES OF THE EARTH WILL BEAT THEMSELVES IN LAMENTATION and they will see the Son of Man coming on the clouds of heaven with power and great glory.” No joy mentioned there, now, is there?

    Even less joy, as the Apostle John gives us, this account of the arrival of the Christ in kingdom power: “Look! He is coming with the clouds and every eye will see him, and those who pierced him; and ALL THE TRIBES OF THE EARTH WILL BEAT THEMSELVES IN GRIEF BECAUSE OF HIM. Yes! Amen.” {Revelation 1:7} It would appear to me that the Song previously mentioned should have a little re-wording done to it. What might that re-wording look like was it to be altered, or changed; and new lyrics was given to it?

    Allow the Apostle John to supply this new song that this World today should be singing; and let a talented Song writer supply the new lyrics to this following Song: “And the kings of the earth and the top ranking ones and the Military Commanders and the rich and the strong ones and every Slave and {every} free person hid themselves in the caves and in the Rock-Masses of the Mountains. And they keep on saying to the mountains and to the rock-masses: “Fall over us and hide us from THE FACE of the one seated on the Throne and from THE WRATH OF THE LAMB, because the great day of their wrath has come, and WHO IS ABLE TO STAND ? ” Now, why would they wish to be hidden from the face of this one seated on the Throne? It was because of what Jehovah had told Moses: “You are not able to see MY FACE, because no man may see me and yet live.” So viewing this one seated on the Throne was killing them all off like so many flies. They was actually seeing the mass-slaughter that was going on among them. No wonder that they wanted to be hidden! Who is it that will be able to stand? Only the ones mentioned in the Prophecy of Joel. They will be able to stand. They will be the only ones who will, because Jehovah has called these out for survival as Joel brings out: “And it must occur that everyone who calls on the name of Jehovah will get away safe; for in Mount Zion{Heavenly Mount Zion} and in Jerusalem {Heavenly New Jerusalem} there will prove to be the escaped ones, just as Jehovah has said, and in among the survivors whom Jehovah is calling.”{Hebrews 12:22} {Revelation 14:1} Joel 2:32}

    Summing up, we see that the “Good News Of the Kingdom” is anything but good news to this World. Christs final arrival will bring only stark terror to the majority of the people of this earth, but it will be good news to those Jehovah has called-out from among mankind. So, time to re-write that old song, and put new lyrics to it. Texas!
