According to the Hebrew calendar, it is the year 5774.
Does that mean there is 226 years to play out?
And is an age 6000 years?
Is it true when you work out genealogies, that there is 2000 or so years from Adam to Moses, 2000 from Moses to Christ, and 2000 years from Christ to us?
All very simplistic I know. Anyone have any useful information to add.Apparently there are some 200+ missing years in the Hebrew calender. Don't know if it's true but i read it somewhere.

The jews are ready for rebuilding their temple right now.
They believe that their Messiah is coming soon.
So something is not right.
We know that the beginning of sorrows is aready here.

The Jewish year is incorrect, they did lose about 200 years somehow during the middle Ages. Mankind has now been around for 5983 1/2 years.
Therefore we have only 16 1/2 years left of our 6000 year dispensation.7000 years From the Creation to the Completion of Mankind

The other date that helps to confirm this timeline, is the commencement of Jesus’ ministry in 30 CE. Luke 3:1 states that Jesus was baptized by John ‘in the 15th year of Tiberius’, that was 29/30 CE and it fits exactly with 4000 years from Creation, then to fulfil His prophecy in Luke 13:32 I will work for 2 days, [2000 years] then come into My reward’ , that is: His 1000 year reign. Hosea 6:2586 BCE + 2013 CE -1 = 2598 years since the known date of the Jewish Exile.
Therefore: 2598 + 3386.5 = 5984.5 years is the present age of mankind. [Jan. 2014]
