Revelation is a book of repeated ways of describing the time of tribulation
Why would rev 11 be simplistic?

Compare 3 and a half days the prophets lie in the streets

at christmas, and new year celebrations.
That is when the world give gifts to one another.

Of course they do.  These two men are given powers from God, and send out plagues.  They are tormenting nations, and people.   They are protected by God for 3 1/2 years, and cannot be touched by any man, especially the man who claims to be God, with all the miracles – the false prophet and his armed forces who will hate them because they are of God and can't kill them like they did with the rest of the saints.

So the beast can do nothing against them, but finally when God says it's time, God lets them be killed, and the world rejoice, because they have probably been told a lie that these two men are the “false prophet” and the “antichrist”.  
Don't forget, everyone left there has the mark of the beast, and they are in total darkness, knowing NO TRUTH.  They are all deceived and don't know bible prophecy so can't relate and believe every lie told to them.  God has sent them into “delusion” because they preferred lies over the truth.

They will also believe that aliens will attack the earth, another lie, another story leading up to why on earth would anyone want to attack and fight Christ thinking they stand a chance,…unless they been told its not him and something else from outer space.

Well, yes, each member of the church is a church in itself because the scriptures state:

As for being a tribe, he can be for within his loins are the members of the tribe which has to started by one of the Twelve sons of Jacob.

But you are just being stubborn, God has used angels and men to speak to man, and He did use a donkey one time, and beside any other I do not know. The serpent did speak to Eve but he was not serving God.

What do the scriptures state? With the Media that we have today bad news travels fast.

The ministry of Jesus was also 3 and 1/2 years.

Yes, when Jesus was dying on the cross. He said:

The body without the spirit is dead, and they were dead. The Spirit goes to God until it is resurrected.

The spirit of man goes back to God[ecc 12] but the Spirit of God abides in those who sleep in Christ.

No, Nick:

Dead men don't preach.  Try another interpretation of that verse of scripture.

Is this the scripture in Ecc 12 that you are quoting?

Hi Nick:

I am not denying that to the Lord, his spirit was with God, and Abraham's, Isaac's, and Jacob's spirit is with the Lord. The spirit is the life that the person lived in the body, and so, yes, they are alive with God in that way, and also, if the soul is asleep the soul is alive, but someone who is asleep does not preach.

But in the Lord's case it may be different that this, as far as the soul, because he died for the sins of the whole world, but in either case whether his soul was dead, spiritually separated from God, or if his soul was asleep, dead mean who are physically dead do not preach.
