Mt 24:38 For in the days before the flood, people were eating and drinking, marrying and giving in marriage, up to the day Noah entered the ark;
Mt 24:39 and they knew nothing about what would happen until the flood came and took them all away. That is how it will be at the coming of the Son of Man.
Mt 24:40 Two men will be in the field; one will be taken and the other left.
Mt 24:41 Two women will be grinding with a hand mill; one will be taken and the other left.
Mt 24:42 “Therefore keep watch, because you do not know on what day your Lord will come.

These verses show the difference between the flood which indiscriminately killed all who were not in the ark and the angelic harvest during the great tribulation when the angels take the tares but leave the wheat standing next to it.

God's hedge around those who are His is shown to be effective.

most of those scriptures tell us why we should be ready and how.for the comming of Christ and be part of the 5virgin who are wise.

The oil flask must be replete before we sleep in death as no option for a refill is available when we awake to meet the Master.

yes totally;we have to let the will of God to work in our hearts so that we can be changed ,and then give priority to his will rather than ours,

and so keep moving toward to become citizen of the kingdom of God.
this can only be achieved by the love we have for the righteousness of God.

If Jesus is the head and the church is the body, (and I believe this could make up the 2 witnesses)   How do we not know that this church which I provide the link for is the part of the body in Jerusalem which will make up the witnesses in the great tribulation….(3 1/2 years if you believe that) – they number aproximatly 130000….it is the church in Jerusalem which was founded by the Apostles.. They are right where they are supposed to be in Jerusalem.
