    Hi J42,
He showed his flesh to doubters like Thomas.
    Would you doubt him too?

Special abilities sure but the same old flesh.
Was Philip not in his old flesh when transported?

    Acts 8.40

Water-baptism was given as a “SYMBOL” to Israel, what saves is baptism with God's HolySpirit! (ref. Rom. 8:9 & 11)

Ro 8:9 You, however, are controlled not by the sinful nature but by the Spirit, if the Spirit of God lives in you. And if anyone does not have the Spirit of Christ, he does not belong to Christ.
Ro 8:10 But if Christ is in you, your body is dead because of sin, yet your spirit is alive because of righteousness.
Ro 8:11 And if the Spirit of him who raised Jesus from the dead is living in you, he who raised Christ from the dead will also give life to your mortal bodies through his Spirit, who lives in you.

we are saved by our changing of our nature driven live, from sinful flesh nature to spiritual righteous nature of God will,so we can say that we are born again or we pass from dead to live again

    Hi J42,
    You say
“This must be the same.  Witnesses will see the dead live again just before they are taken up.”
    Any evidence?

Revelation 11:11   And after three days and an half the Spirit of life from God entered into them, and they stood upon their feet; and great fear fell upon them which saw them.

John 20:17   Jesus saith unto her, Touch me not; for I am not yet ascended to my Father: but go to my brethren, and say unto them, I ascend unto my Father, and your Father; and to my God, and your God.

So this is how you use reasoning.
Seeing as Jesus is the preeminence of all things,
    the first of everything,
and he did not ascend straight away after his resurrection,
would it make sense that we would?
That would make us the First to ascend straight up,
and Christ would no longer be the FIRST of everything.

And considering the DEAD in CHRIST get resurrected FIRST,
and then those who are alive are QUICKENED, could there be a possibility that somebody witnesses their change before they are taken up?

This is how my mind works Nick.  It is so inquisitive.  Every thing I have learned starts like this, looking in the scriptures for an answer to my question.
But I keep having to answer to your questions instead,
and you have shed no light, nor shared anything we are searching for.

    Hi J42,
    Human reasoning is not truth.
    Our ideas add little

    Nick

human reasoning in the flesh is not good ,but reasoning on the things of God and improved into the wisdom of God is sublime, and needed for our maturity
