Hi Georg,
It will be very hard for them to not know about the Lord of all.
They have brushed shoulders with his brothers and he will be sitting in front of them as King.November 12, 2009 at 5:57 pm#156255NickHassanParticipanthi Georg,

NickThat's just the point, they did not brush shoulders with any brother, only enemies, and yes, Jesus died for them too; that leaves a big question for you; how will they be saved, not having any good works.

Jesus told them they had helped him when they helped his brothers.
But somehow you read this as saying these ordinary folk only met with 'enemies'?Who should we believe?

Hi Georg,
These folk are in the last chance saloon.Already the brothers of Jesus are with him and those saved through the great tribulation are too while the resurrected Jews are learning to live under their appointed King.
The rest whom God cannot find a reason to save in this white throne judgement are goats.
November 12, 2009 at 6:23 pm#156262NickHassanParticipantHi Georg,
But this thread is about the tribunal of Christ.
All of us [those in Christ] must appear before the tribunal of Christ.
It is in a book written to the saved and so this tribunal is not for the nations but the washed. The white throne judgement is for the nations.

NickWhat kind of game do you play with me? are you as dumb as you pretend?
Who where his brothers before he was born a man? the Babylonians, or the Romans, or the Huns, or etc.
If you're doing this on purpose, than you're the devils advocate.Georg

Jesus Christ had no spiritual brothers till Pentecost.
God does not regard children of Adam or of Abraham as His Children.November 13, 2009 at 12:23 am#156321NickHassanParticipantHi Georg,
Jesus has some he is not ashamed to call brothers and those are they who share his Father's Spirit.[Heb2.11]November 13, 2009 at 12:26 am#156325georgParticipantQuote (Nick Hassan @ Nov. 13 2009,05:23) Hi Georg,

If you read through the thread you will see what it is.November 13, 2009 at 12:45 am#156335NickHassanParticipantQuote (942767 @ Nov. 10 2006,15:50) Hi all: The verdict for all who have striven to obey God from the beginning until the end will be not guilty, but all will go before the judgment seat of Christ and will be rewarded according to their works.
“And, behold, I come quickly; and my reward is with me, to give every man according as his work shall be. I am the Alpha and Omega the beginning and the end, the first and the last. Blessed are they that do his commandments, that they may have right to the tree of life, and may enter in through the gates into the city. For without are dogs, and sorcerers, and whoremongers, and murders, and idolaters, and whoever loveth and maketh a lie”. (Rev. 22:12-15)
“For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first: then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord”. (1 Thes. 4:16-17)
“If any man's work abide which he hath built thereupon, he shall receive a reward. If any man's work shall be burned, he shall suffer loss: but he will be saved; yet so as by fire”. (1 Co. 3:14-15)
“For we must all appear before the judgment seat of Christ; that everyone may receive the things done in his body, according to that he hath done, whether good or bad”. (2 Co. 5:10)
Hi 94,
Are you still hopeful for salvation by your own efforts?
Those who want to save their own lives lose it.November 13, 2009 at 12:57 am#156340georgParticipantQuote (Nick Hassan @ April 09 2005,08:24) Hi,
We who are saved, I believe, escape the general judgement. There is no condemnation for them that are in Christ Jesus. We have passed from death to life. Instead we are raised into the millenium in the first resurrection. We sit as judges too.I believe we face the Tribunal of Christ of 2Cor 5.10, a judgement of reward. I believe it is detailed in the parable of the talents and described just before the general judgement in Matt 25.14f
I would like some feedback on this concept.
NickThe saints, all which come up in the first resurrection, will not stand before any judgment seat, they have been judged and found worthy to sit with Christ in his throne.
There is nothing more any one can do as to die for Christ, just as he has done for us. After their resurrection they will receive their reward, not judgment.
The talents you mention, were given them as they were called, the interest they collected determines the responsibility they will be entrusted in God's kingdom.Georg
November 13, 2009 at 1:08 am#156347NickHassanParticipantHi Georg,
Yes they do not come under judgement of the nations as they have already passed from death to life.[jn5]But as scripture says to the believers
” WE must all appear before the tribunal of Christ”[2Cor 5.10]
November 13, 2009 at 1:11 am#156349NickHassanParticipantHi Georg,
It seems most have justified the investment but some have not.[Mt25]Some have done more and they are rewarded for such usefulness by being given more responsibility in the millenium.
There is greater and lesser in the milennial kingdom.

You will note that the ones in the tribunal and Lk 19.11f, Mt 25.14f are called SERVANTS or slaves.
We are servants, not just of the worldly nations.November 13, 2009 at 9:26 am#156492georgParticipantNick
The parable in Luke 19 is about the nation Israel who not only rejected their king, Jesus, but killed him.
I already explained Mat. 25.
There are no slaves in the kingdom of God, a slave is forced to serve, he has no choice.
Frankly, I don't understand what you're trying to say with that.Georg
