Matt 25:31 When the Son of man shall come in his glory, and all the holy angels with him, THEN shall he sit upon the throne of his glory

Matt 25:32 And before him shall be gathered all the nations and he shall separate them one from another, as a shepherd divides his sheep from the goats:

Matt 25:33 And he shall set the sheep on his right hand, but the goats on the left.

Matt 25:34 Then shall the King say unto them on his right hand, Come, ye blessed of my Father, inherit the kingdom prepared for you from the foundation of the world:

Matt 25:35 For I was hungered, and ye gave me meat….

    1 Peter 5:2 Feed the flock of God which is among you, taking the oversight thereof, not by constraint, but willingly; not for filthy lucre, but of a ready mind;

Matt 25:35 …..I was thirsty, and ye gave me drink

John 4:14 But whosoever drinketh of the water that I shall give him shall never thirst; but the water that I shall give him shall be in him a well of water springing up into everlasting life.

1 Corinthians 11:28 But let a man examine himself, and so let him eat of that bread, and drink of that cup.

Matt 25:35 I was a stranger, and ye took me in:

    Ephesians 2:19 Now therefore ye are no more strangers and foreigners, but fellowcitizens with the saints, and of the household of God;

Matt 25:36 Naked, and ye clothed me…

Revelation 16:15 Behold, I come as a thief. Blessed is he that watcheth, and keepeth his garments, lest he walk naked, and they see his shame.

Matt 25:37 …..I was sick and ye visited me:….

Matthew 9:12 But when Jesus heard that, he said unto them, They that be whole need not a physician, but they that are sick.

Matt 25:37 ….I was in prison, and ye came unto me

2 Timothy 2:26 And that they may recover themselves out of the snare of the devil, who are taken captive by him at his will.

    Isaiah 61:1 The Spirit of the Lord GOD is upon me; because the LORD hath anointed me to preach good tidings unto the meek; he hath sent me to bind up the brokenhearted, to proclaim liberty to the captives, and the opening of the prison to them that are bound;

Matt 25:37 Then shall the righteous answer him, saying, Lord, when saw we thee an hungered, and fed thee? or thirsty, and gave thee drink?

Matt 25:38 When saw we thee a stranger, and took thee in? or naked, and clothed thee?

Matt 25:39 Or when saw we thee sick, or in prison, and came unto thee?

Matt 25:40 And the King shall answer and say unto them, Verily I say unto you, Inasmuch as ye have done it unto one of the least of these my brethren, ye have done it to me.

But to the goats on the left,,,
…you didn't visit the captives and feed them with food and water (you didn't give them truth), They were hungry for truth.

…they were sick, and you didn't give them good medicine to heal them (truth)

…they were strangers, and you didn't take them in (you left them there, no truth),

…they were naked and you didn't clothe them (gave them no truth)

This parable is speaking on spiritual terms.

    Don't get confused.

The Lord has true labourers that he sends out, and they guide those who are sick from being fed strange flesh (false doctrine) and they are starving for truth (hungry & thirsty) and these labourers lead the captives out of the prison house by feeding them with truth, leading them to the Lamb..

God bless you all, my brothers and sisters.

But, this is literal too. Who does these works of charity? Who helps the widows and the orphans and the homeless? Who is at work when Jesus comes in his glory in the clouds? The work is out of genuine love. Not just keeping youself in money and being selfish, but out of love for others, no matter what color they are or what they believe. This will separate the sheep from the goats. Don't be mislead into thinking just lip service is enough.

    Hi Michangel

Yes, it's good to help anyone. Don't get me wrong. The parable I quoted was not talking about this however, but has a deeper meaning. It is about the true labourers, and the false shepherds.

The true labourers take the time to visit the sick captives, feed them truth, make them well, bring them into the fold that belongs to Christ. These are not naked now, that knowledge of the truth covers and protects them, they are free now.

and the false shepherds/teachers/preachers/ don't feed the hungry with truth, they don't care for the sheep, they leave them there, hungry, thirsty, sick and naked and never let them go free. They don't even realise they do it, but the Lord sees, and knows who belongs and labours for him in the truth.

If we do our charitable deeds, make sure you tell no-one. Do it in secret, and the Lord will reward in secret. Don't ask anyone to tell you their good deeds either, or you may cause them to justify themselves, and boast, and loose their reward.

Matthew 6:1 Take heed that ye do not your alms before men, to be seen of them: otherwise ye have no reward of your Father which is in heaven.

Matthew 6:2 Therefore when thou doest thine alms, do not sound a trumpet before thee, as the hypocrites do in the synagogues and in the streets, that they may have glory of men. Verily I say unto you, They have their reward.

Matthew 6:3 But when thou doest alms, let not thy left hand know what thy right hand doeth:

Matthew 6:4 That thine alms may be in secret: and thy Father which seeth in secret himself shall reward thee openly.

but you can take that parable however you want to see it. If to you it means you have to do more to help others, then good, do it, but to me it means something totally different, and as christians, we should be ready to help anyone that is in need at any time anyway, without hesitation.

    God bless.

    Hi mike angel.

No one can get there by works,if it were by works then not of mercy; if by works only, then there is no need for mercy.
And we can boast, and say ''I got here by my works.''
If so, then the wolrd disaster fund org. will all be saved, not by christ, but by works.

    Hi all.

This is an important topic, and I hope to see it carrying on.

The question needs to be asked: What kind of seeds are we sowing?  Are we sowing seeds of love, kindness, affection, wellbeing, hospitality, and clarification of truth?  Or are we sowing seeds of sadness, anger, divorce, divisions, spiritual repression and confusion?

Our lives consist of different categories. Our marriages, our family, our comminity, our internet input.  Take a look at what we are really sowing in each section.

The only ones who we can look to for any resemblence to truth are those who are – or who were – innocent.   If they are lost, then re-ignite the spiritual light that you once knew.

Build them up, visit them in their prison, feed them with spiritual food, give them the water of life, clothe them with the armor that they need.

    God bless!

    For all:

There is only one separation or reason for separation between man and God, sheep and goats, or good and evil, that I can find in the Gospels….! UNBELIEF!! Not believing what Jesus has done ''for'' mankind is the great downfall of man. Jesus has done the work of perfection for man unto God. It is finished! Completed! Done! But is man doesn't accept his perfection unto God through Jesus, and continues to try, to work, to help, to be better and on and on and on!

That mentality means one has rejected his salvation/perfection unto God as completed. Any furtherance of effort on the part of a human being is evidence that the original salvation of Jesus was not quite enough. This is the mentality that keeps man believing he is in sin when by Jesus criteria he is cleansed and whole. This is the work of religion over the years constantly telling people they are falling short of Gods expectations and living in sin.

If that's what you choose to believe then so be it. Nobody but you can change your thinking. Lies against the truth of Jesus say your not doing enough. You are in sin. You are failing and falling short. Lies…..lies….lies….lies!!!!!

Jesus made you perfect….how could your choices, in the way you live your life, somehow make you imperfect unto God? If perfection through Jesus was not by mans works….then how could there be imperfection later bases on works/deeds! The life and death of Jesus and his words and works made all mankind perfect, cleansed, whole, sons of God! How could that fact have anything to do with how you live your life?…. IT HAS EVERYTHING TO DO WITH YOUR RELATIONSHIP WITH GOD!!….You live your life as you choose. Salvation isn't follow the leader. Your life is yours, live it to its fullest with the love of Jesus in your heart. IMO, TK

how many pens does the shepherd (Christ ) has ????

    Pierre

    Hi Pierre

I know there is a little flock,

Luke 12:32 Fear not, little flock; for it is your Father's good pleasure to give you the kingdom.

So if there is a little flock, then there must be a large flock?

Acts 20:29 For I know this, that after my departing shall grievous wolves enter in among you, not sparing the flock.

So if this flock is not spared by the grievous wolves, then this particular flock must be the large flock

John 10:16 And other sheep I have, which are not of this fold: them also I must bring, and they shall hear my voice; and THERE SHALL BE one fold, and one shepherd.

John 10:27 My sheep hear my voice, and I know them, and they follow me:

so these ones that will hear Jesus voice must belong to the small flock.

The answer to your question. 2 flocks.
    1. The flock that hear the voice of Jesus (little flock)
    2. The flock that get deceived by grievous wolves, these ones are not spared.

For many are called but few chosen.

    FOR ALL:

The greek word translated as “Mansions” in John14:1 is the same greek word used at John14:23….”abode”! V23…If a man love me, he will keep(hold fast to, love) my words and my father will love him, and we will come unto him and make our…abode…in him!….v1 SHOULD READ….IN MY FATHERS HOUSE ARE MANY PLACES OF ABODE…..I GO(lay down my life) TO PREPARE A PLACE [TO DWELL] IN YOU….AND I WILL COME AGAIN(in a new spirit form) and receive you unto myself….that where I am(in heaven w/God) YOU MAY BE ALSO….!

Jesus came in spirit form and he and the Father make their abode, home, house, temple, church, body…within those that accept and believe the true words of God from Jesus. TK
