Sanctuary, GOD's Blueprint of the Plan Of Salvation…
…then continue study here…
The Heavenly Sanctuary…
Have you ever heard of what Jesus is doing now in Heaven?
Have you ever heard of the earthly Tabernacle [Sanctuary] on Earth? Or what its purpose was, or its origins?
Did you know then of the Heavenly Tabernacle, where Christ Jesus is even right now? Do you know what He is doing there for you now?
According to all that I shew thee, [after] the pattern of the tabernacle, and the pattern of all the instruments thereof, even so shall ye make [it]. Exodus 25:9
And look that thou make [them] after their pattern, which was shewed thee in the mount. Exodus 25:40
And this work of the candlestick [was of] beaten gold, unto the sh*ft thereof, unto the flowers thereof, [was] beaten work: according unto the pattern which the LORD had shewed Moses, so he made the candlestick. Numbers 8:4
All [this, said David], the LORD made me understand in writing by [his] hand upon me, [even] all the works of this pattern. 1 Chronicles 28:19
Which he wrought in Christ, when he raised him from the dead, and set [him] at his own right hand in the heavenly [places], Ephesians 1:20
Now of the things which we have spoken [this is] the sum: We have such an high priest, who is set on the right hand of the throne of the Majesty in the heavens; Hebrews 8:1
A minister of the sanctuary, and of the true tabernacle, which the Lord pitched, and not man. Hebrews 8:2
Who serve unto the example and shadow of heavenly things, as Moses was admonished of God when he was about to make the tabernacle: for, See, saith he, [that] thou make all things according to the pattern shewed to thee in the mount. Hebrews 8:5
But Christ being come an high priest of good things to come, by a greater and more perfect tabernacle, not made with hands…” Hebrews 9:11;p
How much more shall the blood of Christ, who through the eternal Spirit offered himself without spot to God, purge your conscience from dead works to serve the living God? Hebrews 9:14
“…the patterns of things in the heavens should be purified with these; but the heavenly things themselves with better sacrifices than these.” Hebrews 9:23;p
For Christ is not entered into the holy places made with hands, [which are] the figures of the true; but into heaven itself, now to appear in the presence of God for us: Hebrews 9:24
So Christ was once offered to bear the sins of many; and unto them that look for him shall he appear the second time without sin unto salvation. Hebrews 9:28
“…boldness to enter into the holiest by the blood of Jesus,” Hebrews 10:19;p
For he looked for a city which hath foundations, whose builder and maker [is] God. Hebrews 11:10
“…seven golden candlesticks;” Revelation 1:12;p
And in the midst of the seven candlesticks [one] like unto the Son of man, clothed with a garment down to the foot, and girt about the paps with a golden girdle. Revelation 1:13
“…the seven golden candlesticks. The seven stars are the angels of the seven churches: and the seven candlesticks…” Revelation 1:20;p
“…who walketh in the midst of the seven golden candlesticks;” Revelation 2:1;p
“I know thy works: behold, I have set before thee an open door, and no man can shut it…” Revelation 3:8;p
“…seven lamps of fire burning before the throne, which are the seven Spirits of God.” Revelation 4:5;p
And another angel came and stood at the altar, having a golden censer; and there was given unto him much incense, that he should offer [it] with the prayers of all saints upon the golden altar which was before the throne. Revelation 8:3
“And the temple of God was opened in heaven, and there was seen in his temple the ark of his testament…” Revelation 11:19;p

If I have told you earthly things, and ye believe not, how shall ye believe, if I tell you [of] heavenly things? John 3:12
Want to know more about what Jesus is doing?Christ Jesus is in the Heavenly Most Holy place before the Ark of His Testament, in this the anti-typical day of atonement [see Leviticus 16 and 23].
“Look up” into the Heavenly by Faith!
Are you placing your faith and trust in an earthly work of men or the Heavenly One by the Great High Priest Christ Jesus?
If those who are called by His [Christ's] name, would only “look up” by Faith into the Heavenly Sanctuary, and see by the eye of Faith, that Christ Jesus is doing such a Great work there… and that any such earthly work which seeks to mimic it as was shown going on or denying it is only hiding the Truth. If only they would want to understand their Mediator and Advocate in Heaven… who now stands in the Most Holy Place, before “the Ark of His Testament”… [see the type in Leviticus 16]
That earthly work is rather instead the work of another… “…another little horn…”, for who was it that was cast down to this earth and where is his worship focused?
“And when the dragon saw that he was cast unto the earth…” [Revelation 12:13;p]
Christ Jesus is ascended into the Heavens and our worship and faith should be directed there…
And he said unto me, Unto two thousand and three hundred days; then shall the sanctuary be cleansed. Daniel 8:14
“…child was caught up unto God, and [to] his throne.” [Revelation 12:5;p]
Seeing then that we have a great high priest, that is passed into the heavens, Jesus the Son of God, let us hold fast [our] profession. Hebrews 4:14
For we have not an high priest which cannot be touched with the feeling of our infirmitie
s; but was in all points tempted like as [we are, yet] without sin. Hebrews 4:15Let us therefore come boldly unto the throne of grace, that we may obtain mercy, and find grace to help in time of need. Hebrews 4:16
That Throne of Grace is in Heaven… the very Mercy Seat… above the Tables…
The LORD hath prepared his throne in the heavens; and his kingdom ruleth over all. Psalms 103:19
Now of the things which we have spoken [this is] the sum: We have such an high priest, who is set on the right hand of the throne of the Majesty in the heavens; Hebrews 8:1
For our conversation is in heaven; from whence also we look for the Saviour, the Lord Jesus Christ: Philippians 3:20
For Christ is not entered into the holy places made with hands, [which are] the figures of the true; but into heaven itself, now to appear in the presence of God for us: Hebrews 9:24
He that descended is the same also that ascended up far above all heavens, that he might fill all things.) Ephesians 4:10

None could fail to see that if the earthly sanctuary was a figure or pattern of the heavenly, the law deposited in the ark on earth was an exact transcript of the law in the ark in Heaven; and that an acceptance of the truth concerning the heavenly sanctuary involved an acknowledgment of the claims of God’s law, and the obligation of the Sabbath of the fourth commandment. Here was the secret of the bitter and determined opposition to the harmonious exposition of the Scriptures that revealed the ministration of Christ in the heavenly sanctuary. Men sought to close the door which God had opened, and to open the door which he had closed. But “He that openeth, and no man shutteth; and shutteth, and no man openeth,” had declared, “Behold, I have set before thee an open door, and no man can shut it.” [Revelation 3:7, 8.] Christ had opened the door, or ministration, of the most holy place, light was shining from that open door of the sanctuary in Heaven, and the fourth commandment was shown to be included in the law which is there enshrined; what God had established, no man could overthrow. …” [The Great Controversy 1888, page 435;p; Ellen G. White]
Seeing then that we have a great high priest, that is passed into the heavens, Jesus the Son of God, let us hold fast [our] profession. Hebrews 4:14
For we have not an high priest which cannot be touched with the feeling of our infirmities; but was in all points tempted like as [we are, yet] without sin. Hebrews 4:15
Let us therefore come boldly unto the throne of grace, that we may obtain mercy, and find grace to help in time of need. Hebrews 4:16
It is apparent by the scripture that “we have a great high priest”, who being “Jesus the Son of God”.
The text says that this “great high priest” is “passed into the Heavens”.
Shall we not “hold fast [our] profession” of this very Truth?
So also Christ glorified not himself to be made an high priest; but he that said unto him, Thou art my Son, to day have I begotten thee. Hebrews 5:5
As he saith also in another [place], Thou [art] a priest for ever after the order of Melchisedec. Hebrews 5:6
Called of God an high priest after the order of Melchisedec. Hebrews 5:10
It is again apparent that “Christ glorified not himself to be made an high priest”, even “a priest for ever after the order of Melchisedec”, and this came from the Father, thus “called of God”.
Of whom we have many things to say, and hard to be uttered, seeing ye are dull of hearing. Hebrews 5:11
For when for the time ye ought to be teachers, ye have need that one teach you again which [be] the first principles of the oracles of God; and are become such as have need of milk, and not of strong meat. Hebrews 5:12
For every one that useth milk [is] unskilful in the word of righteousness: for he is a babe. Hebrews 5:13
It is quite apparent that Paul is serious about this concept for he says some very straight forward things about this truth, and quite frankly says for those rejecting such an idea as, “dull of hearing”, “unskilful in the word of righteousness” and “babes”, who needeth someone to “teach you again” even the simplest and “first principles of the oracles of God”, and they have yet to be weened from “milk”, for they cannot endure the “strong meat”.
But strong meat belongeth to them that are of full age, [even] those who by reason of use have their senses exercised to discern both good and evil. Hebrews 5:14
Where is Christ Jesus now? What is he doing there according to these scriptures? Is it not extremely important?
Let us look at these things…

Hi Terraricca,Hebrews 5:14 was quoted near the end of the 2nd post. Thank you.
December 3, 2012 at 2:35 am#323285AnonymousInactiveJESUS being 30 years old:
Now when all the people were baptized, it came to pass, that Jesus also being baptized, and praying, the heaven was opened, Luke 3:21
And the Holy Ghost descended in a bodily shape like a dove upon him, and a voice came from heaven, which said, Thou art my beloved Son; in thee I am well pleased. Luke 3:22
And Jesus himself began to be about thirty years of age, being (as was supposed) the son of Joseph, which was [the son] of Heli, Luke 3:23
The very age given in scripture:
From thirty years old and upward even until fifty years old, all that enter into the host, to do the work in the tabernacle of the congregation. Numbers 4:3
From thirty years old and upward until fifty years old shalt thou number them; all that enter in to perform the service, to do the work in the tabernacle of the congregation. Numbers 4:23
From thirty years old and upward even unto fifty years old shalt thou number them, every one that entereth into the service, to do the work of the tabernacle of the congregation. Numbers 4:30
From thirty years old and upward even unto fifty years old, every one that entereth into the service, for the work in the tabernacle of the congregation: Numbers 4:35
From thirty years old and upward even unto fifty years old, every one that entereth into the service, for the work in the tabernacle of the congregation, Numbers 4:39
From thirty years old and upward even unto fifty years old, every one that entereth into the service, for the work in the tabernacle of the congregation, Numbers 4:43
From thirty years old and upward even unto fifty years old, every one that came to do the service of the ministry, and the service of the burden in the tabernacle of the congregation, Numbers 4:47
JESUS was to minister for 3 1/2 years and then be “cut off”, but not for HIMSELF:
At the beginning of thy supplications the commandment came forth, and I am come to shew [thee]; for thou [art] greatly beloved: therefore understand the matter, and consider the vision. Daniel 9:23
Seventy weeks are determined upon thy people and upon thy holy city, to finish the transgression, and to make an end of sins, and to make reconciliation for iniquity, and to bring in everlasting righteousness, and to seal up the vision and prophecy, and to anoint the most Holy.Daniel 9:24
]Know therefore and understand, [that] from the going forth of the commandment to restore and to build Jerusalem unto the Messiah the Prince [shall be] seven weeks, and threescore and two weeks: the street shall be built again, and the wall, even in troublous times.Daniel 9:25
And after threescore and two weeks shall Messiah be cut off, but not for himself: and the people of the prince that shall come shall destroy the city and the sanctuary; and the end thereof [shall be] with a flood, and unto the end of the war desolations are determined. Daniel 9:26
And he shall confirm the covenant with many for one week: and in the midst of the week he shall cause the sacrifice and the oblation to cease, and for the overspreading of abominations he shall make [it] desolate, even until the consummation, and that determined shall be poured upon the desolate. Daniel 9:27
The Time of this prophecy was coming to a close…
Then Herod, when he saw that he was mocked of the wise men, was exceeding wroth, and sent forth, and slew all the children that were in Bethlehem, and in all the coasts thereof, from two years old and under, according to the time which he had diligently enquired of the wise men. Matthew 2:16
The 69 Weeks [weeks of years] of Daniel coming to an end in fulfillment [having begun in 457 BC; Ezra 7, etc [457 BC – Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia] [Artaxerxes I of Persia – Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia] [File:Ezrachonology.jpg – Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia]]:
From that time Jesus began to preach, and to say, Repent: for the kingdom of heaven is at hand. Matthew 4:17
And saying, The time is fulfilled, and the kingdom of God is at hand: repent ye, and believe the gospel. Mark 1:15
Christ Jesus did indeed ministers for that 1/2 week [3 1/2 days/years, from AD 27 – AD 31]:Now in the fifteenth year of the reign of Tiberius Caesar, Pontius Pilate being governor of Judaea, and Herod being tetrarch of Galilee, and his brother Philip tetrarch of Ituraea and of the region of Trachonitis, and Lysanias the tetrarch of Abilene, Luke 3:1 [Tiberius – Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia] [File:TwentySevenAD.jpg – Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia] [Pontius Pilate – Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia] [Philip the Tetrarch – Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia] [Herod the Great – Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia]
Annas and Caiaphas being the high priests, the word of God came unto John the son of Zacharias in the wilderness. Luke 3:2
And he said, Go into the city to such a man, and say unto him, The Master saith, My time is at hand; I will keep the passover at thy house with my disciples. Matthew 26:18
And shall lay thee even with the ground, and thy children within thee; and they shall not leave in thee one stone upon another; because thou knewest not the time of thy visitation. Luke 19:44
JESUS then at the 'last supper', again in fulfillment of Daniel 9 [vs 27, etc], “blood”, “covenant/testament” and “many”:
For this is my blood of the new testament, which is shed for many for the remission of sins. Matthew 26:28
And he said unto them, This is my blood of the new testament, which is shed for many. Mark 14:24
Likewise also the cup after supper, saying, This cup [is] the new testament in my blood, which is shed for you. Luke 22:20
After the same manner also [he took] the cup, when he had supped, saying, This cup is the new testament in my blood: this do ye, as oft as ye drink [it], in remembrance of me. 1 Corinthians 11:25
And more of which we will consider in Hebrews to come…
After JESUS was crucified, died was buried [6th day, preparation day], lay in the tomb [sabbath according to the commandment, and 'high day', feast sabbath and commandment sabbath meeting that year] and resurrected ['first [day] of the 'week']…
Since CHRIST JESUS died in the “midst of the week”, HE confirms the remainder of the 3 1/2 day/years through HIS disciples and ended with the stoning of Stephen [who died], being rejected of the council [as had JESUS], condemned to die [as had JESUS], taken outside [as had JESUS] and killed [as had JESUS] and Stephen prays for their forgiveness [as had JESUS], thus the 70 weeks of Daniel were completely f
ulfilled, but much more remained of the prophecy…:How shall we escape, if we neglect so great salvation; which at the first began to be spoken by the Lord, and was confirmed unto us by them that heard [him]; Hebrews 2:3
The 1st time JESUS ascended, and went to the FATHER was directly after HIS Resurrection:
Jesus saith unto her, Touch me not; for I am not yet ascended to my Father: but go to my brethren, and say unto them, I ascend unto my Father, and your Father; and [to] my God, and your God. John 20:17
Whereupon neither the first [testament] was dedicated without blood. Hebrews 9:18
For when Moses had spoken every precept to all the people according to the law, he took the blood of calves and of goats, with water, and scarlet wool, and hyssop, and sprinkled both the book, and all the people, Hebrews 9:19
Saying, This [is] the blood of the testament which God hath enjoined unto you. Hebrews 9:20
Moreover he sprinkled with blood both the tabernacle, and all the vessels of the ministry. Hebrews 9:21
This was the Anti-type fulfillment of what Moses [the Prophet] had done for the Sanctuary:
And it came to pass on the day that Moses had fully set up the tabernacle, and had anointed it, and sanctified it, and all the instruments thereof, both the altar and all the vessels thereof, and had anointed them, and sanctified them; Numbers 7:1
But Later when HE appears to the Disciples later in the same Day:
And as they went to tell his disciples, behold, Jesus met them, saying, All hail. And they came and held him by the feet, and worshipped him. Matthew 28:9
And then spends 40 [of the 50] days [until Pentecost; Acts 2] with various Disciples in various places:
To whom also he shewed himself alive after his passion by many infallible proofs, being seen of them forty days, and speaking of the things pertaining to the kingdom of God: Acts 1:3
When CHRIST JESUS ascended the 2nd Time into Heaven, HE did so from the Mount Of Olives [Mt. Olivet], signifying the work of the Great High Priest [as Anti-type to Aaron] that was to begin in the HOLY PLACE behind the First Veil, the events concerning the COURTYARD of the True Sacrifice [Cross; Anti-type], etc having taken place on Earth in fulfillment of type:
And when he had spoken these things, while they beheld, he was taken up; and a cloud received him out of their sight. Acts 1:9
And while they looked stedfastly toward heaven as he went up, behold, two men stood by them in white apparel; Acts 1:10
Which also said, Ye men of Galilee, why stand ye gazing up into heaven? this same Jesus, which is taken up from you into heaven, shall so come in like manner as ye have seen him go into heaven. Acts 1:11
And she brought forth a man child, who was to rule all nations with a rod of iron: and her child was caught up unto God, and [to] his throne. Revelation 12:5
Which [hope] we have as an anchor of the soul, both sure and stedfast, and which entereth into that within the veil; Hebrews 6:19
Whither the forerunner is for us entered, [even] Jesus, made an high priest for ever after the order of Melchisedec. Hebrews 6:20
As JESUS then ascended into Heaven, and was received into the Everlasting Doors of that Eternal City:
He shall receive the blessing from the LORD, and righteousness from the God of his salvation. Psalms 24:5
This [is] the generation of them that seek him, that seek thy face, O Jacob. Selah. Psalms 24:6
Lift up your heads, O ye gates; and be ye lift up, ye everlasting doors; and the King of glory shall come in. Psalms 24:7
Who [is] this King of glory? The LORD strong and mighty, the LORD mighty in battle. Psalms 24:8
Lift up your heads, O ye gates; even lift [them] up, ye everlasting doors; and the King of glory shall come in. Psalms 24:9
Who is this King of glory? The LORD of hosts, he [is] the King of glory. Selah. Psalms 24:10
Then later [days in the upper room of the disciples] on Pentecost the HOLY SPIRIT is poured out [as seen in Joel 2:28-29, even as Peter says]:
And when the day of Pentecost was fully come, they were all with one accord in one place. Acts 2:1
And suddenly there came a sound from heaven as of a rushing mighty wind, and it filled all the house where they were sitting. Acts 2:2
And there appeared unto them cloven tongues like as of fire, and it sat upon each of them. Acts 2:3
And they were all filled with the Holy Ghost, and began to speak with other tongues, as the Spirit gave them utterance. Acts 2:4
Type had met Anti-type in these events.
Yet in Daniel 8, more events were to occur, “consider the vision” mentioned by Gabriel Daniel 9:23 referencing that which was seen, but not fully understood in Daniel 8:
And he said unto me, Unto two thousand and three hundred days; then shall the sanctuary be cleansed. Daniel 8:14
This is the very “vision” [mar'eh] that Gabriel [whom Daniel had previously seen in the 'vision' [chazown]] mentions to Daniel in Daniel 9:23.

Then Samuel took the horn of oil, and anointed him in the midst of his brethren: and the Spirit of the LORD came upon David from that day forward. So Samuel rose up, and went to Ramah. 1 Samuel 16:13
Thou lovest righteousness, and hatest wickedness: therefore God, thy God, hath anointed thee with the oil of gladness above thy fellows. Psalms 45:7
Thou hast loved righteousness, and hated iniquity; therefore God, [even] thy God, hath anointed thee with the oil of gladness above thy fellows. Hebrews 1:9
Then he answered and spake unto me, saying, This [is] the word of the LORD unto Zerubbabel, saying, Not by might, nor by power, but by my spirit, saith the LORD of hosts. Zechariah 4:6 [see Zechairah 4:2-6, for context, Olive Trees and Pipes of Oil]
Also see the Anointing of Jesus at the Jordan, by John the Baptist and from Heaven:
How God anointed Jesus of Nazareth with the Holy Ghost and with power: who went about doing good, and healing all that were oppressed of the devil; for God was with him. Acts 10:38
The Prophet Moses pouring the Oil upon the Head of Aaron the High Priest…
Then shalt thou take the anointing oil, and pour [it] upon his head, and anoint him. Exodus 29:7
…was merely the type…
And moreso upon this point of the HOLY SPIRIT being poured out, notice with me please the context:
[[A Song of degrees of David.]] Behold, how good and how pleasant [it is] for brethren to dwell together in unity! Psalms 133:1
[It is] like the precious ointment upon the head, that ran down upon the beard, [even] Aaron's beard: that went down to the skirts of his garments; Psalms 133:2
As the dew of Hermon, [and as the dew] that descended upon the mountains of Zion: for there the LORD commanded the blessing, [even] life for evermore. Psalms 133:3
And he poured of the anointing oil upon Aaron's head, and anointed him, to sanctify him. Leviticus 8:12
Anointing of the Head, Christ Jesus, down to the body of Christ Jesus…
And when the day of Pentecost was fully come, they were all with one accord in one place. Acts 2:1

The earthly [patterned after the heavenly], “patterns of things in the heavens”, was to be “purified” with those typological sacrifices…
…BUT, says the Holy Scriptures, the Heavenly Sanctuary [the True Tabernacle], “the heavenly things themselves”, must be “purified” with “better sacrifices” than the typological ones…
Hebrews 9:23, among many other texts reveals that the Heavenly Sanctuary was to be cleansed and purified… and so in comes Leviticus 16, 23 and Daniel 8:14 [etal], Hebrews, Revelation, etc. What is it to be cleansed from? The record of Sin. Not only was the Heavenly to be so cleansed, we too are to be so cleansed from all sin down here. This is the Everlasting Gospel. Christ Jesus can save to the “uttermost”.
He will have a people on earth before He comes, which “keep the Commandments of God and have the Faith of Jesus”. Revelation 14:12.
Anypone preaching that we cannot have victory over sin and temptation in this life, or that we do not have to keep His Ten Commandments, in the here and now, does not understand the Gospel as it truly and marvelously is. We are all called to be “overcomers” in Christ Jesus, even as He overcame. Since He can give us vicotry over a single sin, He can give victory over every besetting sin. More to come on this in a bit, but take not that the work of the High Priest in the True and Heavenly Sanctuary can cleanse the conscience, whereas the type, of the blood of bulls and goats never could.
Looking still further at the Text of Hebrews 9:23, we shall look closer at this “purified”,
[It was] therefore necessary that the patterns of things in the heavens should be purified with these; but the heavenly things themselves with better sacrifices than these. Hebrews 9:23 KJV
anagkh oun ta men upodeigmata twn en toiV ouranoiV toutoiV kaqarizesqai auta de ta epourania kreittosin qusiaiV para tautaV Hebrews 9:23 [Stephen's 1550 Textus Receptus] [also Scrivener 1894 Textus Receptus, Byzantine Majority, Alexandrian, and even the Westcott and Hort, all in complete agreement on this text, without variation]
Now let us compare this to Daniel 8:14:
And he said unto me, Unto two thousand and three hundred days; then shall the sanctuary be cleansed. Daniel 8:14 KJV
ויאמר אלי עד ערב
בקר אלפים ושלש
מאות ונצדק קדש׃
Daniel 8:14 [Modern Hebrew]In the Greek LXX [Septuagint]:
14. kai eipen autw ews esperas kai prwi hmerai disciliai kai triakosiai kai kaqarisqhsetai to agion Daniel 8:14 LXX [Greek Translit.]
What shall we notice? The exact same word is used in Hebrews 9:23, as it is in the Daniel 8:14 LXX passage. From the Greek word “katharizō” “καθαρίζω”; meaning “1) to make clean, cleanse; a) from physical stains and dirt; 1) utensils, food; 2) a leper, to cleanse by curing; 3) to remove by cleansing; b) in a moral sense; 1) to free from defilement of sin and from faults; 2) to purify from wickedness; 3) to free from guilt of sin, to purify; 4) to consecrate by cleansing or purifying; 5) to consecrate, dedicate; 2) to pronounce clean in a levitical sense” [Strong's Concordance] Translated into the English as: “AV — cleanse 16, make clean 5, be clean 3, purge 3, purify 3”
December 3, 2012 at 5:20 am#323319AnonymousInactiveRepent ye therefore, and be converted, that your sins may be blotted out, when the times of refreshing shall come from the presence of the Lord; Acts 3:19
…first forgiveness, then followed the work of the High Prist still, ministering in the Holy at First, and then moving into the Most Holy in the Day of Atonement…
…we are they which follow the Lamb whithersoever He goeth…
…we have followed Him in Heaven by Faith…
According to the “pattern” [type] given, where was Christ Jesus [the sacrifice for sin] to be presented?
For he hath made him [to be] sin for us, who knew no sin; that we might be made the righteousness of God in him. 2 Corinthians 5:21
And he shall take the two goats, and present them before the LORD [at] the door of the tabernacle of the congregation. Leviticus 16:7And Aaron shall cast lots upon the two goats; one lot for the LORD, and the other lot for the scapegoat. Leviticus 16:8
It was to be “[at] the door of the tabernacle of the congregation”.
This was to represent the earth [where Christ Jesus, divinity clothed with humanity], the “courtyard” of the Sanctuary, where the sacrifice and offering was to take place.
And Aaron shall bring the goat upon which the LORD'S lot fell, and offer him [for] a sin offering. Leviticus 16:9“Then shall he kill the goat of the sin offering, that [is] for the people, and bring his blood within the vail…” Leviticus 16:15;p
Christ is the Priest and Christ is the sinless [spotless] sacrifice offering Himself through the Holy Spirit.
Christ Jesus is also the spotless Lamb, as required by the Passover:
“…lamb shall be without blemish…” [Exodus 12:5]
“…the innocent blood…” [Matthew 27:4]
“…lo, nothing worthy of death is done unto him.” [Luke 23:15]
“…this man hath done nothing amiss.” [Luke 23:41]
“…I have kept my Father's commandments…” [John 15:10]
“…I find in him no fault [at all].” [John 18:38]
“…I find no fault in him.” [John 19:4]
“…I find no fault in him.” [John 19:6]
“…the obedience of one…” [Romans 5:19]
“…who knew no sin…” [2 Corinthians 5:21]
“…without sin.” [Hebrews 4:15]
“…[who is] holy, harmless, undefiled, separate from sinners…” [Hebrews 7:26]“Who did no sin, neither was guile found in his mouth:” [1 Peter 2:22]
“…in him is no sin.” [1 John 3:5]
“How much more shall the blood of Christ, who through the eternal Spirit offered himself without spot to God…” Hebrews 9:4;p
…so we see that the Lord's Goat was to be the sacrifice for the sin offering and was sacrificed, but was that the end of making the atonement for the whole congregation? No. The High Priest had more work to do… and all sin was to finally be put away, as Leviticus 16 shows…
We can know from the types given in Leviticus 23, that the various “pattern
” given were to represent what Christ Jesus was to do.We can see the timeframes of them:
Nisan [Aviv] 10, Exodus 12:3 Gathering of the Lamb, hold it for 3 1/2 days, until the Nisan [Aviv] 14th, Christ Jesus preaches for 3 1/2 years before being sacrificed, in the exact, year, month, day and hour it was foretold to.
Spring Feasts:
Passover: Leviticus 23:5 [Jesus dies AD 31; preparation day; ie 'friday']
Feast of Unleavened Bread: Leviticus 23:6-8 [Jesus in the Tomb; ie 'sabbath of the commandment' 7th Day; 'saturday']
Feast of Firstfruits [Wave Sheaf]: Leviticus 23:10-14 [Jesus resurrected; 'first [day] of the week'; ie 'sunday'; third day since these things were done]Last Spring Feast Just Before Summer, Long Summer No Feasts until Fall:
Pentecost [Feast of Weeks]: Leviticus 23:15-22 [Jesus, pouring of the Holy Spirit, See Acts 1-3; Psalms 133:1-3; Exodus 29:7; Leviticus 8:12; etc]…a long summer, with no feasts, for it would be many years, for the next type to be so fulfilled [we can see from Daniel, etc when these would come]…
Fall Feasts:
Feast Of Trumpets: Leviticus 23:24-25 [Jesus, announcing coming Judgment; Trumpets a symbol of Judmgent/War, etc see Revelation 14:6-12, Exodus 19,20, etc, this was the Great Awakening Movement…]Day Of Atonement: Leviticus 23:27-32 [btw, we are Here, anti-typically, almost to the next fulfillment; Jesus in the Most Holy Place; see correlation in Revelation; Jesus in 1844, at the end of 2,300 evening/mornings, which began in 457 BC; Ezra 7, transitioned into the final phase of Ministry]
Feast of Booths/Tabernacles/Ingathering: Leviticus 23:34-43 [Jesus 2nd Advent; Harvest]etc…

Jesus drew everyone's attention to all of the symbols of Himself in the Sanctuary and Miracles that had been given in the time of Moses and showing how He was that fulfillment, He was telling them that the Sanctuary was a model of how Salvation would come about…Gospel of John really shows this…[Christ the Passover]
Ye know that after two days is [the feast of] the passover, and the Son of man is betrayed to be crucified. Matthew 26:2Purge out therefore the old leaven, that ye may be a new lump, as ye are unleavened. For even Christ our passover is sacrificed for us. 1 Corinthians 5:7
[Manna, the Unleavened from Heaven; Shewbread]
I am that bread of life. John 6:48This is the bread which cometh down from heaven, that a man may eat thereof, and not die. John 6:50
I am the living bread which came down from heaven: if any man eat of this bread, he shall live for ever: and the bread that I will give is my flesh, which I will give for the life of the world. John 6:51
This is that bread which came down from heaven: not as your fathers did eat manna, and are dead: he that eateth of this bread shall live for ever. John 6:58, see also 1 Corinthians 5:6-7; Galatians 5:9
[Christ the Water Of Life]
Jesus answered and said unto her, If thou knewest the gift of God, and who it is that saith to thee, Give me to drink; thou wouldest have asked of him, and he would have given thee living water. John 4:10The woman saith unto him, Sir, thou hast nothing to draw with, and the well is deep: from whence then hast thou that living water? John 4:11
But whosoever drinketh of the water that I shall give him shall never thirst; but the water that I shall give him shall be in him a well of water springing up into everlasting life. John 4:14
He that believeth on me, as the scripture hath said, out of his belly shall flow rivers of living water. John 7:38
And he said unto me, It is done. I am Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the end. I will give unto him that is athirst of the fountain of the water of life freely. Revelation 21:6
[One Gate, Door and Way of the Sanctuary]
Enter ye in at the strait gate: for wide [is] the gate, and broad [is] the way, that leadeth to destruction, and many there be which go in thereat: Matthew 7:13Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me. John 14:6
I am the door: by me if any man enter in, he shall be saved, and shall go in and out, and find pasture. John 10:9
[Jesus the Light of Menora, 7 Branch Candlestick]
[That] was the true Light, which lighteth every man that cometh into the world. John 1:9Then spake Jesus again unto them, saying, I am the light of the world: he that followeth me shall not walk in darkness, but shall have the light of life. John 8:12
Again, a new commandment I write unto you, which thing is true in him and in you: because the darkness is past, and the true light now shineth. 1 John 2:8
[Sacrificial Lamb for Sins upon an Altar]
The next day John seeth Jesus coming unto him, and saith, Behold the lamb of God, which taketh away the sin of the world. John 1:29And being found in fashion as a man, he humbled himself, and became obedient unto death, even the death of the cross. Philippians 2:8
[Jesus is the LORD' Goat]
And he shall take the two goats, and present them before the LORD [at] the door of the tabernacle of the congregation. Leviticus 16:7And Aaron shall cast lots upon the two goats; one lot for the LORD … Leviticus 16:8;p
All we like sheep have gone astray; we have turned every one to his own way; and the LORD hath laid on him the iniquity of us all. Isaiah 53:6
For he hath made him [to be] sin for us, who knew no sin; that we might be made the righteousness of God in him. 2 Corinthians 5:21
[The Temple and Sanctuary]
Jesus answered and said unto them, Destroy this temple, and in three days I will raise it up. John 2:19But he spake of the temple of his body. John 2:21
[Jesus is the High Priest]
Seeing then that we have a great high priest, that is passed into the heavens, Jesus the Son of God, let us hold fast [our] profession. Hebrews 4:14For he testifieth, Thou [art] a priest for ever after the order of Melchisedec. Hebrews 7:17
But this [man], because he continueth ever, hath an unchangeable priesthood. Hebrews 7:24
Wherefore he is able also to save them to the uttermost that come unto God by him, seeing he ever liveth to make intercession for them. Hebrews 7:25
For such an high priest became us, [who is] holy, harmless, undefiled, separate from sinners, and made higher than the heavens; Hebrews 7:26
Who needeth not daily, as those high priests, to offer up sacrifice, first for his own sins, and then for the people's: for this he did once, when he offered up himself. Hebrews 7:27
For the law maketh men high priests which have infirmity; but the word of the oath, which was since the law, [maketh] the Son, who is consecrated for evermore. Hebrews 7:28; etc
[Jesus is the Mediator, the Advocate]
For [there is] one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus; 1 Timothy 2:5Now a mediator is not [a mediator] of one, but God is one. Galatians 3:20
My little children, these things write I unto you, that ye sin not. And if any man sin, we have an advocate with the Father, Jesus Christ the righteous: 1 John 2:1
[Meat and Drink Offerings]
Then Jesus said unto them, Verily, verily, I say unto you, Except ye eat the flesh of the Son of man, and drink his blood, ye have no life in you. John 6:53[Jesus and the New Wine]
Neither do men put new wine into old bottles: else the bottles break, and the wine runneth out, and the bottles perish: but they put new wine into new bottles, and both are preserved. Matthew 9:17And no man putteth new wine into old bottles: else the new wine doth burst the bottles, and the wine is spilled, and the bottles will be marred: but new wine must be put into new bottles. Mark 2:22
And no man putteth new wine into old bottles; else the new wine will burst the bottles, and be spilled, and the bottles shall perish. Luke 5:37

And when they wanted wine, the mother of Jesus saith unto him, They have no wine. John 2:3
And saith unto him, Every man at the beginning doth set forth good wine; and when men have well drunk, then that which is worse: [but] thou hast kept the good wine until now. John 2:10
[Firstfruits of the Harvest]
But now is Christ risen from the dead, [and] become the firstfruits of them that slept. 1 C
orinthians 15:20But every man in his own order: Christ the firstfruits; afterward they that are Christ's at his coming. 1 Corinthians 15:23
