You are out for a walk along the cliffs and you stumble and fall over the edge. You take a bad bump on the head and when you awake you find yourself caught up in the branches of a tree halfway down the cliff. You look around and see you are not the first to have done this.
There are some others who look quite comfortable and have made themselves little bivouacs and even seem to be enjoying themselves laughing and joking. They are particularly amused by a story one is telling about a rope that falls from the sky and how foolish it would be to go near it.
Further away another group is huddled around a little shrine and you ask what they are doing. They reply that there is a rope from above and they have found it. The show you a piece of string they have found and are bowing down to.
Some even have a little book called “the sacred rope” which they also reverence. None has seen a rope that could support anyone and they warn about lianas and snakes that can look like ropes but advise you never to touch them. Men have fallen trying to grab onto illusions they say.
You check your situation and you are well dressed, you have warm clothes and good boots and your sleeping bag. You also have brought some provisions that will sustain you for some days. Comforted you lie down to rest.
You lapse back into unconciousness and wake to the sound of voices calling you from high up on the cliff. You look up and can see that the cliff is dangerous and easily gives way but perhaps you might find a way up. Looking up, however, you can see no one but you can see a rope close to where you are coming from above.
The voices say you must hold on to the rope and you will be pulled up. You call back that how do you know they are strong enough to pull you up but they reply that you must not worry.You look down and see the jagged rocks below and you ask for more time to think.
Then they say that you have to take off your pack, and your jacket and your shoes!!What do you do??“the sacred rope” which they also reverence. I'll stay until Jesus or my spirit tells me who these people are. Sound's like the rope is a false god.
You hear from an apostle Mark, the bible speaks of the apostles, yet we have not seen them! He speaks of black machines filling the skys, China invasion! You stand on the doorway, and see Chinese military aircraft overhead! An Asian on the street beside you speaks, by pointing his finger, the MOON comes out of the clouds at noonday, and you hear a voice, “SEE YOU ON THE DARK SIDE OF THE MOON!”. rEALLY HAPPENED! dO YOU BELIEVE IT? i DON'T, BECAUSE WE FIGHT A MIGHTY WAR FOR THE SALVATION OF all MEN! pAUL SAID, ” i WOULD LOSE MY SALVATION, FOR THE SALVATION OF ALL, SIMILAR WORDS NOT EXACT!
My rope vision had 2 ropes that any one could grab onto when getting pulled up. One was labeled Jesus, the other was whatever the person wanted it to be, good works, sacraments,holy days, another gospel, another prophet or religiosity. Many, many people grabbed onto both ropes while being pulled up, but alas, when they almost reached safety both ropes were yanked violently and since they had one hand on each rope, they lost their grip on both ropes and fell into the abyss.
There were a few wise ones, however, that grabbed on the the rope labeled Jesus with both hands as tightly as they could. When the reached the top where the others fell, their rope was yanked violently too, but they held on because they had both hands in the rope labeled Jesus.
