I'll start this thread out with some of my heresies: (Although God is not “human” I will use human terminology to “describe” God.)
1-Elohim is the Hebrew Name for God.
2- Elohim created the heavens and the earth.
3- Elohim's image consists of two essences, male and female.
3a- The two essences are separate personages (YHWH and Spirit) yet are PART OF Elohim and therefore Elohim is considered “ONE” God.
4- YHWH is the Name of Elohim's male essence. Is used in combination with Elohim…..YHWH Elohim
4a – YHWH has a physical body. Because of this and other reasons the pronouns “HE/HIS/HIM, etc” are used for Elohim (God), El (God) and Holy Spirit) (IMO incorrectly…..should be “She”).
5- YHWH's functions include:
God (El); God + Adjective
Father
King
Priest
Prophet
LORD
Creator
Savior6- YHWH's actions include:
Creating son
Creating the cosmos THRU His son
Walking in the Garden with Adam and Eve
Performing priestly duties in the Garden, and with Cain & Abel & various others
Physically sitting on a throne in Heaven
Serves as Priest in the Heavenly Temple
Sending His son to earth as the promised Messiah & Savior
Resurrecting His son from the dead (and so did the HS and Jesus)7- (The Holy) “Spirit” is the Name of Elohim's female essence.
7a- The Holy Spirit is “spirit” and is omnipresent.
8- The Holy Spirit consists of 7 spirits: (Possibly “spiritual” bodies)
Spirit of YHWH
Fear of YHWH
Power (Strength)
Wisdom
Counsel
Knowledge
Understanding9- The Holy Spirit is called “God's Spirit or Spirit of God and could be referring to Elohim's Spirit or YHWH's Spirit:
10- Elohim gave 5 Commandments: (10 commandments are from the angels)
1- Be fruitful
2- Multiply
3- Fill the earth
4- Subdue (take care of) the earth
5- Have dominion (rule) over:
fish
sea
birds
air
animals
earthHave fun!

Thanks Ed for responding,No it doesn't disturb me. I'll try to make it fun, ok?
I've asked but no one has said HOW TO put Hebrew letters onto this site. How did you do it? I copy from my word program and it puts funny symbols in place of the Hebrew letters.
As I said before your way of El-o-heem is the pronounciation guide and you'll notice by the hyphens and diacritical marks. Elohim is standard and also Elohiym but you knew that.
We agree on 1,2 and 3– I didn't see any corrections. I call the male and female “essences” you call them expressions, that's fine, whatever way you want to see Elohim. The idea is that Elohim consists of “male and female”.
3a Trying to compare Greek to Hebrew is impossible because they have only one word for “God” theos. However, Elohim is Spirit, and so is the female essence of God, The Holy Spirit.
4a YHWH Elohim was in the garden in Genesis 3 and Adam and Eve hid from Him.
5. YHWH is also a Prophet Genesis 3.
6. Luke 1:35 is the Holy Spirit (Ruach Elohim)(Gen 1:2) which is NOT YHWH.
This is TOO FUNNY (“voice” walking) how did they hide from a “voice”. They hid from the presence….Jer 49:38 says nothing about “spirit” and refers to an earthly kingdom.
7. “Elohim” doesn't even exist in the Greek language so where does it say that the Holy Spirit is a “Title”? It can't. Elohim is the name of Elohim. Gen 1.1 Elohim created the heavens and the earth. Gen 1:3 Elohim “said”…
7a This is true; so how is it that YHWH who sits on a throne is omnipresent? You have to change YHWH to be a “spirit”. If YHWH is spirit why is there a separate person called “The Holy Spirit”?
8- I don't like delving into Revelation because of the ambiguities…however, for you Ed I will touch on it. YHWH is sitting on the throne (Rev 1) and the Holy Spirit's 7 spirits are sitting in FRONT of the throne…..TWO separate entities.
This is where I have to remind you of my “model” of God (Elohim) being YHWH and Spirit (Ruach). Ruach Elohim is omnipresent, whereas her 7 spirits apparently are in “spiritual” bodies and “sitting” before the throne….in front of YHWH.
9- I don't have a problem calling the Holy Spirit God because She is part of Elohim (God Most High). Just as I don't have a problem calling YHWH God as He is the other part of Elohim. Why do you think t
hey have to keep explaining that God is “ONE”? Even though there are TWO essences within Elohim, God (Elohim) is still ONE. If there weren't two essences that comprise the ONE God, it would be redundant to say that God is ONE.10- I see that you wrote one of the accepted ways of Jehovah. Yehovah and Yahweh are two more.
Act 7:53 you who received the law as “ordained by angels”, and yet did not keep it.”
Gal 3:19 Why the Law then? It was added because of transgressions, having been ordained through angels by the agency of a mediator, until the seed would come to whom the promise had been made.
Angels ordained them, but written by the finger of God.
He also added STRENGTH:
Mar 12:30 AND YOU SHALL LOVE THE LORD YOUR GOD WITH ALL YOUR HEART, AND WITH ALL YOUR SOUL, AND WITH ALL YOUR MIND, AND WITH ALL YOUR STRENGTH.'
More about YHWH having a physical body (read Gen 18)
Gen 18:13 And the LORD (YHWH) said to Abraham, “Why did Sarah laugh, saying, 'Shall I indeed bear a child, when I am so old?'
Gen 18:16-17 Then the “men” rose up from there, and looked down toward Sodom; and Abraham was walking with them to send them off. (17) The LORD said, “Shall I hide from Abraham what I am about to do,
When God spoke from Heaven the Bible says so. When He is physically present it says so. It seems you want to “spiritualize” YHWH everytime He makes an appearance and deny that He physically exists. Think about what you are doing and why? It doesn't matter to me because my “model” works without having to explain anything.
There are many aspects of YHWH (God, Father, King, Priest, Prophet, etc).
There are two major different aspects of the Holy Spirit. Elohim is spirit (invisible) and omnipresent. The Spirit of Elohim has within Her omnipresent spirit, 7 spirits that you want to attribute to YHWH and they have “bodies”.
Your way of thinking Ed would be in conflict with the Bible. Since YHWH is not “spirit” He cannot be omnipresent. Also, with His “one” physical body He wouldn't have 7 spirits, too.
I am glad that you do see the 7 spirits, though, many people don't.
Ed, again, thanks for taking the time to see my heresies and responding.
Oh, by the way, you agreed that God is male and female (expressions) which is the “female” expression for you?

Hi t8,
I am in a small city (50k) about an hour away from Medellin (2 million). It is nice and quiet. Rains a lot. I am 1.90 M and the rest of the town is about 1.5M so I appear to be a giant, or they are little people.
95% of the town are Catholics and don't know the Bible. I've tried talking to some priests and nuns and they don't appear to be that knowledgable either. They do lots of fund raising, masses for the dead and parade around virgins and saints every month. Very showy. Priest said most drink and party all week and come to confession to have their sins absolved, I think that is the word.
There are very few people that read the Bible. There are a couple hundred JWs that push a lot of other magazines, their views on Paradise here on earth and talk about 144,000 “select”. I don't know what that's all about. My friend who is a “leader” there says they are special and Revelation talks about them. The ones in Revelation are talking specifically about 12 tribes of Israel and 12k from each tribe so I don't know how they think they fit into that….and these are witnesses that are going to be killed and beheaded….I wouldn't want to be part of that group. lol
The town is in a serene setting, a flat glen/valley among lush green hillsides, cows and horses strolling the streets. All the houses are attached to each other with a well planned street layout and fairly plain so that it is easy to walk from one side to the other in 20 minutes or so. A small river/arroyo flows thru the middle where my 4 dogs like to swim and drink on occasion.
The people are basically poor and are struggling to make ends meet. They work 6 days a week 10-12 hours a day for a monthly salary of $250- $300. Many women still wash the clothes on washboards in the patio and hang the clothes out to dry. I have propane tanks for my stove and dryer. I am blessed to have a fridge with ice maker and filtered water dispenser. Over the past year I've lost 50 pounds and have stopped drinking diet sodas which were killing me, unbeknowst to me.
The people are friendly and everyone likes to talk to a gringo and since I walk my 4 dogs 3-5 times each day I meet dozens daily and stop at the plaza/park and talk to the older men.
Kids learn English in school for 10 years but nobody can pronounce hardly a word….but they keep insisting that I speak to them….they love the accent.
I've been to Bogota a few times but didn't really like the vastness and disrepair of streets. It took a minimum of 30 minutes to get from one place or another.
I used to live at the beach in Cartagena for years and still have an apt there, but can't afford the utilities and other costs (about $1,000 a month). Here my rent for my 2,000 sq ft 4 br home is $250 a month and is one of the costliest. Utilities and the internet run about $200 a month, food another $300 (for 2), so for about $900 a month I am able to survive. In California where I'm from, the rent for a 2 br is about $1,200- $1,500. BIG difference.
Colombia is as beautiful as the USA and has its deserts, mountains, rivers, Atlantic and Pacific Oceans, Amazon and hundreds of ethnic cultures.
Yes, I like it here too, as it affords me the time to study the Bible, train some and visit the prison…all by foot.

Perhaps you are imposing the physical form onto God? The physical body is the flesh, and it is not really applicable to God as he is spirit.
He is not a man, doesn't have a body, and he is not finite.I know man is fallen ,but i think it is fair to say that there are things in man that are attributes of God, but male and female is probably not one. Perhaps a better way to look at it is to say that God put some of his attributes in the masculine and some in the feminine.
But to say that God is male or female isn't right IMO.
Yes he is the Father, but that is not because he is male. It is because he is the originator. An earthly father is called father because he is an originator.

Hi t8,That is a good point, “God made man, male and female and in His image.”
God chose to create many things in many ways, but when it came to creating Man, God made it “personal” didn't He? He made us in His image.
Notice how God “said”, “Let Us make Man in Our image…”
And then it happened…..male and female.
Remember how you made a great point about the Angel of the Lord ceasing to appear AFTER Jesus was on the Earth?
Look how LORD God only formed Adam: (image)
Gen 2:7 And the LORD God formed man [of] the dust of the ground, and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life; and man became a living soul.
Then the spirit entered into him. (likeness)
Now notice that YHWH Elohim has a physical body whereas Ruach Elohim is only spirit. We, too, have a body and a spirit.
YHWH Elohim formed Adam and thus Adam looks like YHWH who formed him. Even though Adam wasn't pro-created like Jesus, God still fashioned him into the image God wanted for Adam and the Bible tells us that, no?
Eve was fashioned after Adam and taken out of Adam.
I am not saying that God is “Male” OR “Female”. God is saying that God (Elohim) is male AND female.
I try not to put too much of my opinions into my observations. Regardless, my observations should be logical, yes?
Later on you read in the Bible how YHWH (masc) is God (El). And the Bible says that YHWH is “Father” and to me it is not talking “spiritually” in regards to His only begotten son. Spiritually in all other regards, yes, Father to the nation Israel, etc. But by knowing the Bible you know when it is metaphorically speaking of Father and when it is talking literally, and since God has only ONE “only begotten” all other times the term is non-literal.
All the other animals and species came out of water or earth at God's command. Adam was physically formed by God into His image, and then He said it was “VERY GOOD”.

Hello t8,Now to address this statement:
The physical body is the flesh, and it is not really applicable to God as he is spirit.
He is not a man, doesn't have a body, and he is not finite. You state the obvious: He is not man. I agree.
“The physical body is the flesh”: I agree partially, angels have bodies and I don't know what they are made of; ours is fleshly.
“He (God) doesn't have a body.” I disagree.
As you know God (Elohim) has two essences, male and female.
The Female is spirit and doesn't have a body, but I think your statement was referring to YHWH Elohim who does have a body and we “see” it appearing in Genesis 3:8ffToo many people see God only as “Spirit” and fail to observe the occasions which state otherwise.
t8 IF in your studies you could keep these words in-tact without translating you may begin to see what I am telling you:
Elohim = Elohim (don't translate it to “God”)
YHWH = YHWH
Ruach = “Spirit” or Holy Spirit
El = El (don't translate it to “God”)YHWH Elohim = YHWH (masc) is part of Elohim and functions separately and differently than Ruach Elohim
Ruach Elohim = Spirit (fem) is part of Elohim and functions separately and differently than YHWH Elohim
Elohim is the combined essences and can be addressed as God (El) Most High but usually “El” is a “title” used by YHWH.
One truth about YHWH does not negate a truth about Spirit. And both truths make up the entity “Elohim”. So, you must be astute and recognize which of the 4 words are being addressed in a conversation: Elohim, YHWH, Spirit, El
Usually, most people don't know what they are talking about and the posts get heated. Not that the people are stupid but rather “ignorant” (unknowing) of these aspects of “God”.
If you haven't noticed the people aren't able to rebutt this “Model” of God because every facet is backed up by Scripture. So, they must resort to name calling and character assassinations.
At best they attack a word in Scripture and say that the word doesn't really mean what is written. I give the complete verse it is up to them to believe what is written.
With you t8 it is different and that is why I explained further. As a “Mod” no one could refute this “wisdom” as it is strictly from the Bible. There is no confusion or debates as it is clear by the “position” which each does.
YHWH = God, Father, King, Priest, Prophet (Creator, Savior)
Spirit = YHWH's spirit (he doesn't control his own, Spirit does) & Elohim's Spirit (notice she is El's Spirit (local-7) and Elohim's Spirit (omnipresent))
Fear of YHWH
Wisdom
Counsel
Power (Strength) = behind creation
Knowledge
UnderstandingNotice that when you want something “invisible” you must go to “Spirit”? We often erroneously ask from “God” (vague) because of being “unaware” of YHWH's functions and Spirit's functions.
We are misled by translators because God is “He” and therefore anything dealing with the “She” is mislabeled “He”.
Look at the Hebrew word “ruach” and you will see that it is a noun, feminine.
Rather than argue WHY it is that way, accept it. When you do your eyes begin to open to see how this “model” fits into the Bible and the Bible doesn't have to fit into your theology.
These words are Biblical words, not David's words.
The concepts I present are straight from the Bible, that is why the people can't refute them.
t8 I would hope to have you apply this model for a month and see if what I am saying isn't true.
Everyone else wants to use the Church “fathers” to build their foundation, or Church doctrines. Try the Bible and the Hebrew words (versus Greek) and see how it surpasses all others.
Greek, because it is unable to convey the two Hebrew words Elohim and El and place “Spirit” as a neuter but translate it as “He”, so no one would be able to agree on anything. In your years here I bet you'll see thousands of hours wasted on arguing the Greek and hardly an hour for Hebrew.
And if you don't have the “right” God of the Bible, which the Greek cannot represent, why debate someone using “Greek”?
Also, you probably noticed that Greek “Scholars” get puffed up and try to lord it over people.
In God's Love and mine,
David

This is a hurried post, so won't be complete.Scripture tells us that God is invisible. No man has ever seen God and can see God and that Jesus by definition is the visible image of the invisible God.
When men see God, it is the Angel of the LORD, or the Messenger of the LORD.
Look at Revelation. Did John see God? No the revelation came from God, through Christ, to the angel, etc.

God is invisible but not Christ,it is trough Christ that God created all things, so there must be a chemistry .
and Adam was created to the likes of God but Eve was created to the likes of Adam

t8,Sorry I haven't been to this topic for awhile. Your fotos are awesome. Many things to do in a city of 2 million… so much pollution I get sick everytime I go there thus I try not to go there.
Unfortuantely in the New Testament there isn't the distinction of which God they are talking about when the word Theos is used as compared to Hebrew and the OT, thus comparing the two is impossible. Even the Septuagint takes out the distinctions and lumps them into Theos.
If you try to be honest look at Gen 1:2 you will see Ruach Elohim together and it is translated Spirit of God. Then look at Gen 2:4 you will find YHWH Elohim and it is translated LORD God.
As a minimum you should see that:
God = Elohim
Ruach = part of Elohim called “Spirit”
YHWH = part of Elohim called “YHW”The Professor
