Psalms 12:6 The words of the LORD are pure words: as silver tried in a furnace of earth, purified seven times.

Note: The written word was purified IN THE EARTH….just like silver is.

Therefore the process was taking place ON earth.

Just as one would expect if MEN were the ones being INSPIRED to TRANSLATE the written word…NOT in heaven, but IN the earth, and by the hands of God INSPIRED instruments…men!!

So somewhere out there is a line of bible releases that have gone through SEVEN stages of purification…can we find that line today?

Well, maybe we can…lets look at the KJV line…

    Brief history:

The KJV comes from the line also known as the protestant line.
It was called this because there was a protest AGAINST the Roman Catholic abuse and hoarding of the scriptures where they and they alone were the only ones owning a bible and were in the process of CHANGING and CORRUPTING the bible before the reformation came…

The protestant line for the first time gave all men the opportunity to hold and own the written word for themselves for the very first time on a broad scale like never before.

And the man God used to begin this process, Tyndale, was BURNT at the stake for his God inspired work by the Roman Catholics.

And at his execution he called out to God to open the eyes of the king of England before dying terribly…that very same day Tyndale's work was given to the king of England who miraculously gave permission for Tyndale's bible to be printed on masse from whose line came the KJV!!

Now notice God said purified Seven times…therefore each translation must have been subject to being purified (revised) before the next translation was to be released before culminating to the final copy..the 7th purification…that is, six stages before coming to the 7th and final stage of purification being the KJV itself!!

    So…
Do we see this process occurring in the KJV line?
Six releases before the 7th and FINAL release?

Well the answer is a resounding YES.

    And here they are:

    1 Tyndale
    2 Coverdale
    3 Matthewís
    4 Great Bible
    5 Bishops Bible
    6 Geneva
    7 King James

Seven times!! with the KJV being the FINAL stage of the purification process to be purified.

Hence: Psalms 12:6 The words of the LORD are pure words: as silver tried in a furnace of earth, purified seven times.

Is this the line protected by God?
    It does have seven stages!!
And it remains UNCHANGED to this day!!
And it is the most HATED line in the world (by “Christian” scholars) today!!

    Which brings this to mind:

John 15:19 If ye were of the world, the world would love his own: but because ye are not of the world, but I have chosen you out of the world, therefore the world hateth you.

    Hi D,
Reliance of man's role has continued the slide from truth
Best to be reborn from above and then you can have a witness.

    Nick.

Dont worry about the above scriptures,
    For they are only words.
Best to stick to the philosophy of your own heart.

    Hi WU,
    9.Psalm 118:8
It is better to trust in the Lord than to put confidence in man.

    13.Psalm 146:3
Do not trust in princes, In mortal man, in whom there is no salvation.

    19.Jeremiah 17:5
Thus says the Lord, “Cursed is the man who trusts in mankind And makes flesh his strength, And whose heart turns away from the Lord.

    Hi,
Compare ps 146 in the KJV
    10.Psalm 146:3
Put not your trust in princes, nor in the son of man, in whom there is no help.

    Hi,
While you are on the kjv try Dan 3
'25 He answered and said, Lo, I see four men loose, walking in the midst of the fire, and they have no hurt; and the form of the fourth is like the Son of God.”

    Yeah Nick,trust your own heart.
Scriptures can be misleading, most of the time.
Just believe what ever is in your heart.
Thus every one must believe what the heart believe.

    hi devo

    Ps 12:1 Help, LORD, for the godly are no more;
the faithful have vanished from among men.
    Ps 12:2 Everyone lies to his neighbor;
their flattering lips speak with deception.

Ps 12:3 May the LORD cut off all flattering lips
    and every boastful tongue
    Ps 12:4 that says, “We will triumph with our tongues;
we own our lips—who is our master?”

Ps 12:5 “Because of the oppression of the weak
and the groaning of the needy,
I will now arise,” says the LORD.
“I will protect them from those who malign them.”
Ps 12:6 And the words of the LORD are flawless,
like silver refined in a furnace of clay,
    purified seven times.

Ps 12:7 O LORD, you will keep us safe
and protect us from such people forever.
Ps 12:8 The wicked freely strut about
when what is vile is honored among men.

do you really believe that the Psalm speaks about the KJV or was it thinking about Christ ???

    Hi WU,
The KJV made a choice to translate the words as THE SON OF GOD instead of A SON OF GOD to support trinitarian thought?

    Nick

This is only misconstrued if you think Jesus is the only son of man on the planet.

    Hi Nick

That's right, so what's the problem then?
Are you for the KJV wording in this verse or against it?

Ok, that's good to hear Nick
But you have been posting scriptures on here that are from the NASB, and I have to keep checking them against the KJV, which is time consuming.
Cause even one word missing, or changed, stops the flow to connect to other scriptures.
The clues are in the Words.
