A man will not lose his salvation if he does not get baptized by water. Show me in the scriptures that says he will lose his salvation?
June 29, 2006 at 10:58 pm#21052NickHassanParticipantHi H,
Show me a scripture that men are born into Christ and into the first resurrection without going through the gate of Christ. Jn 10 says that those that do not enter through the gate are thieves and robbers.Losing that salvation is another matter.
June 29, 2006 at 11:04 pm#21054He’s Coming in the CloudsParticipantThen don't try and steal one's salvation by saying that if a man does not receive water baptism, he is not saved. That is contrary to the word of God. It is an act of obedience that one recieve the baptism as is partaking in the last supper. Do you partake in the last supper Nick? Jesus said do this in rememberance of me. If so, when was the last time and with what church being you do not fellowship.
June 29, 2006 at 11:13 pm#21056NickHassanParticipantHi H,
Nothing matters till a man is reborn into Christ and part of God's righteous demand is that we are reborn of water. Only men say maybe, sometime…We all need the three witnesses in Heaven just as Christ did and they are shown in the true rendering of 1Jn 5.6f
“This is the one who came by water and blood, Jesus Christ;
not with the water only but with the water and the blood.
And it is the Spirit who bears witness, because the Spirit is the truth.
For there are three that bear witness, the Spirit, the water and the blood;
and the three are in agreement”June 29, 2006 at 11:22 pm#21060He’s Coming in the CloudsParticipantYes, and we are born of water.
June 29, 2006 at 11:24 pm#21061He’s Coming in the CloudsParticipantA man must be born. He must reborn. He will be resurrected.

God judges.
We obey and smartly once we know what simple things He requires.June 29, 2006 at 11:31 pm#21064NickHassanParticipantQuote (heiscomingintheclouds @ June 30 2006,00:29) For there are three that bear witness, the Spirit, the water and the blood;

Hi H,
Your words. Three witnesses is what scripture says.June 30, 2006 at 12:02 am#21066He’s Coming in the CloudsParticipantYou are learning.
June 30, 2006 at 12:52 am#21070NickHassanParticipantHi H,
Every day. What about you?June 30, 2006 at 1:13 am#21072He’s Coming in the CloudsParticipantThe power of the Holy Spirit is an endless supply of learning. As long as we don't dwarf our spiritual growth by carnal mind and the things of the flesh, we will grow and learn. We must walk in the spirit. We must eat of his word. We must pray. Praise him, for he inhabits our praise. We must seek his face.
June 30, 2006 at 1:15 am#21073NickHassanParticipantAmen.
So I suggest do not restrict Him to the boundaries of you current understanding.June 30, 2006 at 1:31 am#21075He’s Coming in the CloudsParticipantSorry Nick, but the doctrine of Nick does not hold water. You don't go to Church. You switch back and forth. I will stick with the KJ.
My boundries are only limited to my lack of faith. I pray my faith grows daily. God has given me much, and I give so little in return. How can any man ever repay the wonderful blessing bestowed upon him by such a loving God? Thank you Lord. And thank you Lord for all my brothers and sisters on this site. I pray you bless them and lead them to your truth and not the truth of men. For the truth of me is carnal and will lead to the road of destruction. I pray you keep them all safe this holiday weekend. In Jesus name. Amen.
June 30, 2006 at 1:47 am#21078NickHassanParticipantHi H,
Which part of the Word of God that I have shown you can you not accept?June 30, 2006 at 1:54 am#21080He’s Coming in the CloudsParticipantIf a man is saved, but dies before getting baptized by water, will he enter the kingdom of God?
June 30, 2006 at 1:59 am#21082NickHassanParticipantHi H,
God knows. I would be speculating if I attempted an answer.June 30, 2006 at 2:07 am#21085He’s Coming in the CloudsParticipantI will ask the man who was on the cross beside Jesus, who is in paradise.
June 30, 2006 at 6:58 am#21099RamblinroseParticipantLuke 23:43 And Jesus said to him, “Assuredly, I say to you, today you will be with Me in Paradise.” NKJV
There was no punction in the manuscripts. Moving the comma changes the whole verse. The above suggests that the he is in paradise with Yahshua now, but the following suggests that he will be there one day in the future.
And Jesus said unto him, “Assuredly, I say to you today, you will be with Me in Paradise.”
June 30, 2006 at 7:55 pm#21111NickHassanParticipantHiRR,
You may be right.
However the phrase
“Truly, [or truly, truly] I say to you”
was used by Jesus at least 85 times in the New Testament and you you be putting this verse up as a different one.Jesus is TRUTH and when he spoke, not from himself but according to that Spirit of truth, he emphasised that fact.
Besides one day can be as a thousand years surely?
