It just can't be done. You cannot disobey a commandment of God without suffering negative consequences. Conversely, those who obey God's commandments reap the benefits of obedience.
If the King James majority-text Bible is in fact the word of the living God then disobeying or obeying its commandments should reap obvious results, and it does. Simply more proof that thousands of years before man understood why, God gave holy instructions of unfathomable wisdom and benefit that only the supernatural designer and creator could know.
Remember, inherent within the holy directive is a blessing or a curse. Obeying our God's commandments is simply practicing excellent living.
Now for today's subject.
GOD SAID in Hebrews, Chapter 10, Verses 24-25:
24 And let us consider one another to provoke unto love and to good works:
25 Not forsaking the assembling of ourselves together, as the manner of some is; but exhorting one another: and so much the more, as ye see the day approaching.
Throughout the scriptures mankind is directed by God to seek his face in a place of worship. In the Old Testament it was called the temple, which was located at Jerusalem, or a synagogue located in sundry places. With the advent of the New Testament the meeting place for Christians became known as the church. The church and synagogue have the same basic definition: a place where “the called” congregate. Many marvelous things happen in a church where the word of God is honored. In the house of God a believer is instructed in righteousness and is ministered to in a myriad of ways. It is a place of community and powerful support. God's house is the ultimate place for answers, vision and encouragement. When Jesus Christ resurrected from Abraham's Bosom, he gave gifts unto men for the perfecting of the saints. The gifts he gave are gifts of ministry, apostles, prophets, evangelists, pastors and teachers (Ephesians 4:8-12). The primary anchor for these ministry gifts to operate is the formal church setting. The benefits of congregating in God's house are more than I could number.
MAN SAID: Why go to church with all the hypocrites, I'll worship God in the woods. Other men have said: there is no God; therefore, He has no church.
Now THE RECORD: Hundreds of studies have been, and are presently being conducted to ascertain whether there is any connection between religious faith and health. Some of the latest results are shocking to the unbelieving world. In 1999 the results of a study conducted by the University of Texas were published. Twenty-two thousand people were followed over a nine year period. Those who attended church or synagogue more than once a week lived an average of eight years longer than those who didn't. Let me say it another way: those who attended church more than once a week lived 2,920 days or 11% longer than those who didn't.
A Yale study reported that churchgoers were less likely to become physically disabled. In a syndicated article released by Knight Ridder Newspapers it was recorded:
Several studies concluded that people who attended religious services regularly are hospitalized less often and have stronger immune systems than people who rarely or never attend.
A church is a place to seek the face of God, to rejoice, to give thanks and to be glad. On this website, an article titled “A Merry Heart or a Broken Spirit” discusses bone marrow. It shows that when one rejoices, is positive, is happy, the bone marrow manufactures red and white blood cells prolifically. White blood cells attack disease and red blood cells bring food and oxygen to our bodies. This is in fact a powerful part of our immune system.
A 1995 Spokane, Washington, study of 232 heart patients found that those who described themselves as deeply religious were more likely to be alive six months after surgery then those who were not.
Harvard's Mind/Body Institute found that those who prayed regularly were able to reduce blood pressure and ease symptoms of chronic pain and illness.
Again the Knight Ridder article cites a 1996 poll of family doctors that found 99% believed spiritual practices and prayer can be helpful in medical treatment.
Hebrews, Chapter 10, Verses 24-25 is just one more proof that God, the creator of all things, gave us his perfect wisdom in the Holy Bible. Thousands of years before science had the foggiest idea why, God gave perfect supernatural instruction.
GOD SAID forsake not assembling together.
MAN SAID: Why go to church with all the hypocrites, I'll worship God in the woods. Other men have said: there is no God; therefore, He has no church.
Now you have THE RECORD.

Does it matter which church you go to or who you commune with? Mormons? Jw's? Catholics? Unitarians? Universalists?Just going to a church is the secret to good health?
Is good health the aim of the gospel of Christ?
June 26, 2006 at 10:54 pm#20770He’s Coming in the CloudsParticipantRead the post on which religion Nick.
June 26, 2006 at 11:00 pm#20772NickHassanParticipantHi H,
But all this evidence about health, does it only apply to the religion you espouse?June 26, 2006 at 11:19 pm#20775He’s Coming in the CloudsParticipantNick, a merry heart, doth good like a medicine. You have already agreed with me on Mark 16 of what the church should resemble. Why are you confronting me. Nick, I am not hear to be your personal attacker. I am here to do God's will. To spread his truth. I don't want to lose you as a friend and a brother. None of us know everything. Yet, one thing is certain, the things of God are made manifest through the Holy Spirit to all. It is not kept secret. God gives to those when they have grown to certain spiritual heights. Not all are equal in spiritual growth. Some are on milk and some are on meat. Some are of different body parts and are stronger spiritually of that part for the edifying of the body of the church. We are all after the same thing. Eternal life through Christ.
We must relinquish our selfwill for his will. To do this, we must eat his word daily. If we do not. We will starve. We must pray daily. We must walk in the spirit daily. We must put off the carnal mind. For the carnal mind is the enemy of God. When we are tempted of the devil, rebuke him and he will flee.

Hi H,
Not attacking you but seeking more information on what you say is good for us. Does it apply to all religions?June 27, 2006 at 12:08 am#20781He’s Coming in the CloudsParticipantTo those that are of God. To those that are not corrupted with the pagan ways of men. If a man gives food to the hungry, and hates his neighbor, is he of God?
June 27, 2006 at 12:14 am#20783He’s Coming in the CloudsParticipantYou want to know what church to go to? Fast for two days and pray the Lord send a messenger to take you to a church like that of Mark 16. Then just believe. The Lord will send that messenger.
June 27, 2006 at 12:37 am#20784NickHassanParticipantHi H,
No, that is not what I am asking. I want to know more about what you have presented as fact here.Perhaps you can show us your sources so we can find out for ourselves if you do not have the information at hand. If attending the local mormon church made me live longer would I be better off?
And the other question was whether you felt health of our frail tent body was the primary message of the gospel?
Paul was keen to shed his tent.
June 27, 2006 at 12:51 am#20785He’s Coming in the CloudsParticipantNick, you can accept it or research it yourself or write my church. We would be more then glad to give you all information if you have doubts to any of the above. Go to Godsaidmansaid.com and write your what questions you have pertaining to the validity of the article and it will be sent to you. I do not personally have access to this information. This is information collected by different individuals in our church and our preacher puts it on the net.

This is how I know you belong to a denomination.
The true Church is not yours, mine, or any mans church.
The true Church belongs to Christ. He is the head of the Church and it is his body. But men have ran off and started their own ones and often in their own name. They rose up from among us and drew men unto themselves. The daughters are just like their mother.
You need a revelation to what the Church is.
This would then give you the wisdom to not promote your denomination and it's doctrines. Rather you would be working for Christ and his Church. Hence you would be promoting God's Kingdom and not some denomination.June 27, 2006 at 10:03 pm#20833He’s Coming in the CloudsParticipantShould I say, write my preacher. Where two or more are gathered, there I am also.
I suppose you do not go to church either? It that why you are upset? You just don't get it. It is a place where you get together with your brothers and sisters in the Lord and praise God. It is where a preacher leads his flock into the ways of the Lord.
1 Corinthians 1:21 For seeing that in the wisdom of God, the world through its wisdom didn't know God, it was God's good pleasure through the foolishness of the preaching to save those who believe.
Romans 16:25 Now to him that is of power to stablish you according to my gospel, and the preaching of Jesus Christ, according to the revelation of the mystery, which was kept secret since the world began,
The church I attend is non denominational. We have no affilliation with any other church. Nor do we seek to. Our doctrine in the word of God.

Hi H,
The true flock belongs to no pastor. The truth belongs to no “perfect”bible version.
It is great that people gather together in the name of Jesus to grow and to share. We do not, however, follow men. Following blind men only causes all to fall into the pit.
But each must individually be established in the Lord and blessed in the Spirit so they can discern the word of truth from the bible and from the preacher and learn to recognise the voice of the Shepherd and the voice of a stranger.
The gospel is not to follow the KJV either.
It too must be tested.June 27, 2006 at 10:54 pm#20845He’s Coming in the CloudsParticipantNew Age believers talk just like you Nick. You have to have God's word. You have to be born again. Yet, if a man is not baptized in the Holy Spirit, he will not lose his salvation anymore then if he is not baptized by water. Both should be done as to be obedient and to apply the full armor of the faith. It is very hard for one to go the distance in the faith without the full armor of God.
Ephesians 6:11 Put on the whole armor of God, that you may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil.
As long as men believe the lies of satan that there is no perfect translation, they will never be free from his embrace.
A man with 25 bible translations can pick and choose and create God in his own image.
June 27, 2006 at 11:12 pm#20849NickHassanParticipantHi H,
Yes we need all the gifts and graces God can give us and He has never run out of grace to give or stopped offering it.But narrowminded and rigid men, relying on their carnal minds, want to build a building for God, just as Peter wanted to do coming down the mountain, instead of coming into the building of freedom He offers us.
You are so apparently insecure and yet you long to have us return to the prison you seem to enjoy.
A saved man can stay where he is and with what he now knows,or he can let the Spirit of the bible change and enlarge his mind.
June 27, 2006 at 11:27 pm#20853He’s Coming in the CloudsParticipantLOL. Enlarge my mind Nick. Spoken like a carnal man. All I need is faith in my Lord, who tasted death, so I will not have to taste death. Although I will die in the flesh, I will not my soul will not see death, for my saviour has set me free.
June 27, 2006 at 11:42 pm#20857NickHassanParticipantHi H,
Do you not have to also be baptised into the death of Christ?
Rom 6.3
“Or do you not know that all of us who have been baptised into Christ Jesus have been bvaptsied into his death? Therefore we have been buried with him through baptism unto death, in order that as Christ was raised from the dead, through the glory of the Father, so we too might walk in newness of life”
Gal .3.27
“All of you who were baptised into Christ have clothed yourselves with Christ”Does any man at the wedding feast want to be seen wearing the wrong wedding clothes?

Hi heiscomingintheclouds.Denominations and cults talk like you do. They claim to have the truth and special revelation like this bible is the only one.
To say that we ( a group) are a inter-denomination church is to say that you are a denomination that works with other denominations. To say that you are non-denominational is to say that you are in fact a denomination called 'the non-denominational church'.
Denominations are more than just different names. They are a mentality. E.g., are you a follower of Paul, Apollos, Christ, or 'God said Man said'?
Are not all in Christ one in Christ. Why do we need to have these special groupings created from the wisdom of man? What should unifiy us besides love is the foundation that was laid by Christ, the Apostles, and the prophets. Unifying over things like KJV, creeds, or special revelation is just division.
I certainly do not encourage the system of seperate groupings, rather I hope to encourage us all to realise that we the the Body of Christ and we do not need to setup denominations to do the will of God. We only need to submit to God through Christ and let God through Christ perfect us.
Meeting together is to be commended if it is in the name of Christ. Meeting together as Catholics, Lutherans, Baptists, or any other name is contrary to the Spirit. As if we needed yet another name. Jesus Christ is the only name that we need. But it is written that men shall rise up from among us and draw men unto themselves.
I appeal to you as a Christian, not as a member of that non-denominational church you keep preaching about.
By all means bring a teaching, but bring it for free. To many times we here the gospel or teachings that have hidden costs like you must join our church or heed to our special revelation. The really bold preachers who bring the gospel at a price go for 10% of your income.
June 28, 2006 at 12:04 am#20861He’s Coming in the CloudsParticipantNick,
When a man is born again, his sins are forgiven. What has happened is that he has surrendered to the will of God. His self will surrenders to the will of God. The dead spirit in the man is reborn by the quickening spirit, Christ Jesus, and the man is born again in his spirit.
This is the baptism that saves us. The inward baptism that washes away our sins.
The water baptism is the symbolic grave. It is saying to all, we have died to our self will and our new creatures in Christ.

Hi H,
Where is sprinkling written as baptism?
We do not add to or take away from what is written surely?
The sprinkling with the blood is never called baptism or you would have found it and shown it to us.
