Heaven Net Friends,
Tradition has erroneously taught us that there will be a final judgment upon mankind at which time this earth will be destroyed and humanity will cease to be a race. But nothing could be further from the truth.
The “final” judgment was upon that generation of Jews which rejected their Messiah. In ad70 God used the Roman army under Titus to execute the final judgment upon Israel. Men are judged by the gospel now and they will receive their reward when they die. But God will not “destroy” them in judgment. The reward is eternal life for those who believe and eternal damnation for those who do not believe. Believers will go to heaven and unbelievers will go to the lake of fire.
Humanity as we know it will never perish from the earth. This earth will continue forever and so will the human race. There is no “new earth” to replace this present earth. Isaiah is clear that procreation will continue on the new earth (65:20). The “new earth” is THIS earth covenantally renewed. And humanity will forever propagate itself here.
Paul said that God will be glorified in the assembly “throughout all generations forever and ever….”
“…to Him be glory in the church by Christ Jesus to all generations, forever and ever. Amen.” (Eph. 3:21)
Note that Paul speaks about generations continuing forever and ever. Successive generations forever and ever means that humanity will procreate forever and ever.
Isaiah says that God's people will be an “eternal excellence” and the joy of “many generations” (60:15). King David said that God's covenant with Abraham would endure for “thousands of generations.” There can be no generations without procreating. Therefore, the expression “thousands of generations” necessarily implies that humankind will be here for a very, very LONG TIME. Then David says that the covenant is an ETERNAL covenant (Psalm 105:8-10).
In John's vision he saw a messenger who had the ETERNAL gospel to preach to them who dwell on the earth (Rev. 14:6),
“Then I saw another angel flying in the midst of heaven, having the everlasting gospel to preach to those who dwell on the earth—to every nation, tribe, tongue, and people….” (Rev. 14:6)
The book of Hebrews says that the [new] covenant is ETERNAL (13:20). It says also that the new covenant age is superior to the old because the old passes away. If the new covenant also passes away then how is it superior to the old in regards to time? The new covenant age is called a kingdom that “cannot be shaken” but will “remain” (Heb. 13:25-28).
God will not destroy all mankind like He did in the flood (except for 8 souls). God made a covenant with creation saying that He would never again destroy the earth (mankind). Many have said that this means only that He will not destroy the earth by water. What a comfort it must have been to creation that God would not destroy by water but by fire. That's like an executioner saying to a condemned man, “I will not put you to death in the gas chamber. I am going to kill you in the electric chair.”
No! God promised Noah that He would never again destroy humanity in any way (Gen. 8:21-22); nor destroy them by water specifically (10:11).
The human race is here to stay! And God will save a remnant for His glory in ALL generations forever and ever and ever (Eph. 3:21)!

So God is a covenant breaker Nick? The old earth (that is, Israel) was destroyed by fire in ad70.You still ignore Isaiah's prophecy of the new earth which says that they will “bring forth children.” You are selective in the scriptures you employ for your Eschatology as you are regarding your Christology.

God saves the “dregs” of mankind. You are self righteous in saying this and guess what? Christ did not come to call the righteous but “dregs” to repentance.thinker

Contradictory Nick. It is the preaching of the gospel that is everlasting (Rev. 14:6). Men are offered the water of life in the new earth (22:17). Notice that the Spirit and the Bride make the offer.thinker

They are not made like the angels until they get to heaven. On the new earth they indeed procreate,Quote The Glorious New Creation
17 “ For behold, I create new heavens and a new earth;
And the former shall not be remembered or come to mind.
18 But be glad and rejoice forever in what I create;
For behold, I create Jerusalem as a rejoicing,
And her people a joy.
19 I will rejoice in Jerusalem,
And joy in My people;
The voice of weeping shall no longer be heard in her,
Nor the voice of crying.
20 “ No more shall an infant from there live but a few days,
Nor an old man who has not fulfilled his days;
For the child shall die one hundred years old,
But the sinner being one hundred years old shall be accursed.
21 They shall build houses and inhabit them;
They shall plant vineyards and eat their fruit.
22 They shall not build and another inhabit;
They shall not plant and another eat;
For as the days of a tree, so shall be the days of My people,
And My elect shall long enjoy the work of their hands.
23 They shall not labor in vain,
Nor bring forth children for trouble;
For they shall be the descendants of the blessed of the LORD,
And their offspring with them.
24 “ It shall come to pass
That before they call, I will answer;
And while they are still speaking, I will hear.Keep on burying your head in the sand Nick.

Matthew 25 does not teach that salvation comes to an end when the Lord returns Nick. It says that God was finished with that generation. You comment on Matthew 25 without chapter 24. You cannot divide the discourse like that.thinker

But the water of life flows in the new Jerusalem AFTER it descends from heaven. If the city has not yet descended from heaven then there is no water to drink until it does descend.thinker
