Because I don't believe in G-d inspiring people to commit genocide. Because miracles have never been shown to be true. Because modern practices eliminate some archaic practices which were needed then but no longer.

But you do not believe that God could recreate as in miracles?

No it is not but why should we automatically take it as true when so many other explanations will apply?Hi tow,
It is amazing to me that anyone can see the glories of God's creation in the wonders of the tiny Universe and still think that such a God cannot cure blindness and raise the dead.And I think it is amazing that you believe Jesus did it and said you could do greater than he but you have yet to do so.
He can, bust has He? You believe He has because of the bible. Did He stop getting involved in 100 CE then? I guess He has abandoned us then, according to your belief.

So your God did not inspire the OT at all as He was not capable of inspiring men?
Why do you not ignore it completely as to quote it sounds hollow for you to quote it.Nick, your constant attack on what I believe and don't believe actually works against you. That would not be the case if YOU did not believe in 100% infallibility. Since I list scripture from your OT which denies Jesus as being King Messiah, what I believe or not believe has no bearing on what is found in Tanakh. So keep up your ploy or attacking my personal beliefs because more and people will see where you look to me and not the bible.
