If my understanding is correct, the church will go through approximately 45 days of the great tribulation and then the rapture will occur.
This is the onset of the the great tribulation:
Quote Mat 24:15 When ye therefore shall see the abomination of desolation, spoken of by Daniel the prophet, stand in the holy place, (whoso readeth, let him understand:) This is also what the scripture in 2 Thes 2 is referring to when it states that the Anti-Christ will set himself up in the temple of God showing himself to be God.
And Daniel states:
Quote Dan 12:11 And from the time [that] the daily [sacrifice] shall be taken away, and the abomination that maketh desolate set up, [there shall be] a thousand two hundred and ninety days.
Dan 12:12 Blessed [is] he that waiteth, and cometh to the thousand three hundred and five and thirty days.The Anit-Christ will stop the Jews from offering animal sacrifice and then 1290 days from that time He will set himself up in the temple showing himself to be God.
And then the scripture states:
Quote Dan 12:12 Blessed [is] he that waiteth, and cometh to the thousand three hundred and five and thirty days 1335 days – 1290 days = 45 days
All who are left then will be destroyed by the seven last plagues. No survivors.

Hi Georg:I haven't gone back to read what you have said about the seven trumpets in biblical prophecy, but I read this in the scriptures pertaining to the seven trumpets:
Quote Rev 9:20 And the rest of the men which were not killed by these plagues yet repented not of the works of their hands, that they should not worship devils, and idols of gold, and silver, and brass, and stone, and of wood: which neither can see, nor hear, nor walk:
Rev 9:21 Neither repented they of their murders, nor of their sorceries, nor of their fornication, nor of their theftsIf my understanding is correct, this is part of the sixth trumpet, and following this is the seventh and last tumpet when the rapture will occur.

The resurected saints will teach them and their children and childrens children.THey will live up to a 100yrs.
It will be the land of milk and honey to them.Can you imagine this, that the luke warm Christians that have survived the calamity at the coming; will not be allowed to come in. they will be living outside with the gentiles.
