November 12, 2006 at 10:08 pm#32334NickHassanParticipantHi,
Some will rule with Christ according to endurance and investment of that which as been given to us.Lk 19
” 12He said therefore, A certain nobleman went into a far country to receive for himself a kingdom, and to return.13And he called his ten servants, and delivered them ten pounds, and said unto them, Occupy till I come.
14But his citizens hated him, and sent a message after him, saying, We will not have this man to reign over us.
15And it came to pass, that when he was returned, having received the kingdom, then he commanded these servants to be called unto him, to whom he had given the money, that he might know how much every man had gained by trading.
16Then came the first, saying, Lord, thy pound hath gained ten pounds.
17And he said unto him, Well, thou good servant: because thou hast been faithful in a very little, have thou authority over ten cities.
18And the second came, saying, Lord, thy pound hath gained five pounds.
19And he said likewise to him, Be thou also over five cities.
20And another came, saying, Lord, behold, here is thy pound, which I have kept laid up in a napkin:
21For I feared thee, because thou art an austere man: thou takest up that thou layedst not down, and reapest that thou didst not sow.
22And he saith unto him, Out of thine own mouth will I judge thee, thou wicked servant. Thou knewest that I was an austere man, taking up that I laid not down, and reaping that I did not sow:
23Wherefore then gavest not thou my money into the bank, that at my coming I might have required mine own with usury?
24And he said unto them that stood by, Take from him the pound, and give it to him that hath ten pounds.
25(And they said unto him, Lord, he hath ten pounds.)
26For I say unto you, That unto every one which hath shall be given; and from him that hath not, even that he hath shall be taken away from him. “
What is the pound?
Will we know how many pounds we have gained for our master?
If it is the gift of the Spirit in it's many forms is profit gained through the use of those gifts?
Is it the spreading of the message ?February 5, 2007 at 1:46 am#39257NickHassanParticipanttopical
February 5, 2007 at 11:27 pm#39306AnonymousGuestI asked the Lord once why He allowed there to be a tree of that was not to be touched in the garden. His answer was simple without the tree there would have been no free will.
Now people who know me know that I am all about seeing things in the context of ones charecter. I use this series of questions to illistrate my point.
1)If I were to inform you that your wife was a child killer would you believe me? (Most answer no, and if you have a problem with that question I am sorry about your marriage) 😉
2)My second question is like the first. What if I provided corraborating statements say in the newspaper? Would you believe me than? (Again my applogies to the miserable) 😉
3)Why would you believe me with this mountain of evidence? The answer almost unanimously is because I know my wife. She isn't capable of something like that.
Thus they understand the concept of charecter.
So studying the word must be done in the context of His charecter as well.
I had a problem with the thought that He bound the devil for a thousand years just to release them again. And so I questioned the Lord on this matter. this is the first time I have really put it out there for the general public because I have not ever heard it spoken before. And it boggles my mind. But I do believe it came from the Lord.
He brought mr to think of the times I have heard others say, and possibly my self as well, “If I had been in the garden I would never have eaten the forbidden fruit.” Or ” If I had walked with Christ and seen all His miricles I would never have denied Him.” And what of the world who says “Why should I follow this Christ when all I see are these poor representatives of His?” And what of the ones who have never actually heard at all? My grandfather comes to mind in that he was born in India and never heard the gospel before he died. What anout him?
The word says that when we stand before His judgement seat we will have no excuses. But what about these? I think they bring up a few good points.
I was brought to the Love of God. Here is what He showed me. When the trumpet blasts. The dead in Christ will come first to meet Him in the air. But not just the dead in Christ, but all that are sleeping. The devil will be bound for a thousand years and all, and I mean all, will be given given a chance to taste and see that the Lord is good. For a thousand years we will edperience the garden again and all will have an opportunity to walk with God. That's the Sadam Huseins, and the Ghengis Khans even Hitler will have an opportunity to walk with God. Because God loves all. (even Hitler. Christ died for him as well) After that point the devil must be released one more time. Because in the abscence of evil only good remains hense no free will. Once the devil is released they will be given a choice and at that time there will be no excuse whatsoever.
In the light of this, The words of Jesus to Thomas become profetic. “You believe because you have seen but I tell you blessed are those who have seen and yet believe.” I believe He was speaking of us. We who choose Christ now will have already made our choice. When the devil is released he will be absolutly ferocious because he knows his time is at an end. But we who have made our choice now will not have to be subject to that choice again.
This is not cheap grace. He is willing that none should perish. And he is truely just. If we had a defense would his judgement be completly just. Look at our judicial system. There can be no reasonable doubt.
I hope I have adequately put into words what is in my spirit. I hope you can see through my limited words the love that backs this kind of action. And the charecter on which I base it. If you have any questions or comments I would welcome them.

It does not pay to put faith in inspiration that goes beyond scriptural revelation. The Spirit of God does not speak on His own initiative but reminds us of what is written. So it is unwise to accept it and unwiser yet to teach it.February 6, 2007 at 10:33 pm#39336charityParticipantIsa 61:2 To proclaim the acceptable year of the LORD, and the day of vengeance of our God; to comfort all that mourn;

The reign of Christ from Jerusalem
Is 2
“1The word that Isaiah the son of Amoz saw concerning Judah and Jerusalem.2And it shall come to pass in the last days, that the mountain of the LORD's house shall be established in the top of the mountains, and shall be exalted above the hills; and all nations shall flow unto it.
3And many people shall go and say, Come ye, and let us go up to the mountain of the LORD, to the house of the God of Jacob; and he will teach us of his ways, and we will walk in his paths: for out of Zion shall go forth the law, and the word of the LORD from Jerusalem.
4And he shall judge among the nations, and shall rebuke many people: and they shall beat their swords into plowshares, and their spears into pruninghooks: nation shall not lift up sword against nation, neither shall they learn war any more.
5O house of Jacob, come ye, and let us walk in the light of the LORD.
6Therefore thou hast forsaken thy people the house of Jacob, because they be replenished from the east, and are soothsayers like the Philistines, and they please themselves in the children of strangers.
7Their land also is full of silver and gold, neither is there any end of their treasures; their land is also full of horses, neither is there any end of their chariots:
8Their land also is full of idols; they worship the work of their own hands, that which their own fingers have made:
9And the mean man boweth down, and the great man humbleth himself: therefore forgive them not.
10Enter into the rock, and hide thee in the dust, for fear of the LORD, and for the glory of his majesty.
11The lofty looks of man shall be humbled, and the haughtiness of men shall be bowed down, and the LORD alone shall be exalted in that day.
12For the day of the LORD of hosts shall be upon every one that is proud and lofty, and upon every one that is lifted up; and he shall be brought low:
13And upon all the cedars of Lebanon, that are high and lifted up, and upon all the oaks of Bashan,
14And upon all the high mountains, and upon all the hills that are lifted up,
15And upon every high tower, and upon every fenced wall,
16And upon all the ships of Tarshish, and upon all pleasant pictures.
17And the loftiness of man shall be bowed down, and the haughtiness of men shall be made low: and the LORD alone shall be exalted in that day.
18And the idols he shall utterly abolish.
19And they shall go into the holes of the rocks, and into the caves of the earth, for fear of the LORD, and for the glory of his majesty, when he ariseth to shake terribly the earth.
20In that day a man shall cast his idols of silver, and his idols of gold, which they made each one for himself to worship, to the moles and to the bats;
21To go into the clefts of the rocks, and into the tops of the ragged rocks, for fear of the LORD, and for the glory of his majesty, when he ariseth to shake terribly the earth.
22Cease ye from man, whose breath is in his nostrils: for wherein is he to be accounted of ?
Pride and idolatry shall be eradicated.

Heb 3
” 15While it is said, To day if ye will hear his voice, harden not your hearts, as in the provocation.16For some, when they had heard, did provoke: howbeit not all that came out of Egypt by Moses.
17But with whom was he grieved forty years? was it not with them that had sinned, whose carcases fell in the wilderness?
18And to whom sware he that they should not enter into his rest, but to them that believed not?
19So we see that they could not enter in because of unbelief.”
Heb 4
” 1Let us therefore fear, lest, a promise being left us of entering into his rest, any of you should seem to come short of it.2For unto us was the gospel preached, as well as unto them: but the word preached did not profit them, not being mixed with faith in them that heard it.
3For we which have believed do enter into rest, as he said, As I have sworn in my wrath, if they shall enter into my rest: although the works were finished from the foundation of the world.
4For he spake in a certain place of the seventh day on this wise, And God did rest the seventh day from all his works.
5And in this place again, If they shall enter into my rest.
6Seeing therefore it remaineth that some must enter therein, and they to whom it was first preached entered not in because of unbelief:
7Again, he limiteth a certain day, saying in David, To day, after so long a time; as it is said, To day if ye will hear his voice, harden not your hearts.
8For if Jesus had given them rest, then would he not afterward have spoken of another day.”
So some entered and some did not.
Is the bosom of Abaraham the waiting place of the 'living' ones, those who have entered the rest of God and await the millenial kingdom?

May 12, 2007 at 1:13 am#51932942767ParticipantHi All:
Those who are alive when Jesus comes for the church who have worshipped the Beast will be judged by the seven last plagues. The spirit who dwells in unbelievers will be bound for a thousand years because all of the unbelievers will be dead.
The dead who have not been judged by the seven last plagues will be judged by the saints during the thousand year period and then will be resurrected for the judgment to be pronounced.
Rev.20:4
And I saw thrones, and they sat upon them, and judgment was given unto them: and I saw the souls of them that were beheaded for the witness of Jesus, and for the word of God, and which had not worshipped the beast, neither his image *, neither had received his mark upon their foreheads, or in their hands; and they lived and reigned with Christ a thousand years.Rev. 20:5
But the rest of the dead lived not again until the thousand years were finished. This is the first resurrection. (I have a little difficulty understanding this scripture. It appears that the first resurrection are those who will reign with Christ a thousand years as is indicated by Rev. 20:6)
20:6
Blessed and holy is he that hath part in the first resurrection: on such the second death hath no power, but they shall be priests of God and of Christ, and shall reign with him a thousand years. But after a thousand years, the devil will be loosed and there will be a resurrection of the dead.
And when the thousand years are expired, Satan shall be loosed out of his prison,
20:8
And shall go out to deceive the nations which are in the four quarters of the earth, Gog and Magog, to gather them together to battle: the number of whom is as the sand of the sea.
20:9
And they went up on the breadth of the earth, and compassed the camp of the saints about, and the beloved city: and fire came down from God out of heaven, and devoured them.It appears that the saints are on the earth during this thousand year period because Rev. 20:9 states that those who were tempted by Satan “compassed the camp of the saints about”. These were destroyed by fire, but apparently, not all yielded to Satan's temptation to come against the saints, and they went before the White Throne and were judged according to their works.
Rev.20:11
And I saw a great white throne, and him that sat on it, from whose face the earth and the heaven fled away; and there was found no place for them.
20:12
And I saw the dead, small and great, stand before God; and the books were opened: and another book was opened, which is the book of life: and the dead were judged out of those things which were written in the books, according to their works.
20:13
And the sea gave up the dead which were in it; and death and hell delivered up the dead which were in them: and they were judged every man according to their works.
20:14
And death and hell were cast into the lake of fire. This is the second death.
20:15
And whosoever was not found written in the book of life was cast into the lake of fire. This is all I understand of the millenial reign any more would be speculation.
God Bless

Satan is not dispersed among millions of unbelievers. The god of this world is a being who works through an evil kingdom and his underlings work their mischief in that kingdom of darkness. Show us a scripture that says Satan is not a single being but is able to be present in multiple places. Satan can appear as an angel of light. He spoke at the council with God to say he had been on earth in Job 1-2. He is seen to be thrown from heaven by Christ as again in Revelation 12. He is chained up in Rev20.
But satan also means deceiver so his servants are also called satan as with Peter in Mt 16.May 14, 2007 at 11:00 pm#52177942767ParticipantQuote (Nick Hassan @ May 15 2007,10:44) Hi 94,

Show us a scripture that says Satan is not a single being but is able to be present in multiple placesPerhaps the following scriptures will show this:
Matt. 12:25
And Jesus knew their thoughts, and said unto them, Every kingdom divided against itself is brought to desolation; and every city or house divided against itself shall not stand:
Matt. 12:26
And if Satan cast out Satan, he is divided against himself; how shall then his kingdom stand ?Mr 4:15
And these are they by the way side, where the word is sown; but when they have heard, Satan cometh immediately, and taketh away the word that was sown in their hearts.Joh 13:27
And after the sop * * Satan entered into him. Then said Jesus unto him, That thou doest, do quickly.Ac 5:3
But Peter said, Ananias, why hath Satan filled thine heart to lie to the Holy Ghost, and to keep back part of the price of the land?Re 3:9
Behold, I will make them of the synagogue of Satan, which say they are Jews, and are not, but do lie; behold, I will make them to come and worship before thy feet, and to know that I have loved thee.Lu 10:18
