    Hi,
Catholics claim Mary was perfect and born sinless.
They treat her like a god.
Jesus too said that all generations will call her blessed and so do I.
But she is of Adam's dust.

Mary was born in the flesh. Jesus was born in the flesh. It is for this reason he is referred to in scripture as the son of man. For he had to take the nature of man in order to defeat death. If he did not take the nature of man and suffer the same temptations as man, how could he defeat death? By living as a man and facing all the same temptations as man, and not falling into sin as man, he defeated death. He lived a sinless life unto death and because he died sinless, his death was unjustified, because he was without sin. He was innocent.

“Protestants, however should be quick to question any such notion of absolute religious certainty, The concept of the individual's responsibility before God is deeply ingrained in Protestant theology. We cannot say “the pope told me to do that” or “the prophet instructed me to believe that doctrine.” God hold us individually responsible for our beliefs and actions. This was one of the great scandals of the Reformation: the idea of the plowman and the merchant carrying and reading the Bible was unthinkable to the medeival Catholic theoligan. How could the layman understand religious things without asking the priest?”
“Many people fulfill their their longing for 'certainty' in religious matters by swearing allegiance to a particular leader or system. For example Roman Catholics find the idea of an infallible pope very 'comforting,' for when things get confusing they always have a source of certainty and absolute authority to turn to. In a similar many Mormons look to the Prophet and the Apostles in Salt Lake City, and Jehovah's Witnesses look tothe Governing Body in Watchtower headquarters in Brooklyn, New York.” – James R White, King James Only Controversy pg 94 paragraph's one and two.

Well, that pretty much says it all I would have to say…Casey Sean Smith

Nice post Casey. I would like to add it if you don't mind.

We should follow no man. We should follow only the Word of God. What did Jesus say, man does not live by bread alone, but by every Word that proceedth from the mouth of God. That was the concept of those men who wanted every man to have their own bible. In that way, men could follow God and not have to rely on the interpretations of men.

    Thank you for your post.

    Hi,
The concept of a sinless Mary is the natural consequence of men developing doctrines without being constrained by biblical proofs. Once they had declared that tradition is equal to scripture then it is a case of anything goes.

1Jo 1:8 If we say that we have no sin, we are deceiving ourselves and the truth is not in us.

Jam 3:2 For we all stumble in many ways. If anyone does not stumble in what he says, he is a perfect man, able to bridle the whole body as well.

Hbr 4:15 For we do not have a high priest who cannot sympathize with our weaknesses, but One [Yeshua] who has been tempted in all things as we are, yet without sin.

2Cr 5:21 He made Him [Yeshua] who knew no sin to be sin on our behalf, so that we might become the righteousness of God in Him.

The only human without sin – Yeshua. All others have sinned. Th above point this out.

    Hi,
It has been a popular idea among trinity believers to see Mary as a demigod, a perfect daughter of Eve so that they can claim perfection in her son. It is not necessary.

Likewise tradition also has devised a go to heaven[?] free card based on this false foundation.

The many multiplying illusions of mere mortal idolatrous men.

Greetings Nick…..Many find it hard to comprehend that Mary was a jewish woman chosen of God to bring forth the Messiah and during the term of her existance on this earth she was the mother of four additional sons and at least two daughters.A direct result of our refusal to accept that any thing is possible with God,we find ourselves eluding to our own understanding of reproduction, which in it itself questions the immaculate conception…

Coming out of the Catholic Church, I do know how much Maria is being worshiped like Jesus is. They also teach that she stayed a Virgin which is false. At one time we did too. But because God has shown us how wrong it is, we have come out of that system, and forever thankful to God for it.

    Hi KW,
    You said
“There were certainly miracles involved as pathogenesis (immaculate conception) does not occur among human except in one case and that is Jesus.”

Was Mary not really his mother but a surrogate mother?
