If a person is in prison they can still do their work through henchmen. Once a seed is sown it grows and multiples (just as God’s kingdom does). The devil “went away” (read the parable of the sower and tell me your opinion in it please -Matthew 13).
So not only is the Devil guilty – but all of those who follow in his footsteps.
Satan is the god of this world to those who follow his ways.
