This is the danger.
When one comes to Christ, Christ cleans out the temple.  The slate is wiped clean, all is forgiven.
But we don't learn the whole truth in one day, so we are going to stumble, because it takes time to read and learn what the spirit says.
We are covered for this period whilst we are growing.
But some don't seek to grow, so they don't study much, therefore they are still doing abominations against the Lord, without even knowing it, but because of “grace” think they are going to be covered forever.

And because of their lack of knowledge, when the truth is told to them, and explained, they go against it.
They do the same thing that they did to the prophets, apostles and Christ.  They reject.

When one rejects a revelation, or any part of the truth, or a scripture and openly declares it, then this is a serious offence towards Christ.  

That's why we have to be like children, knowing nothing, trusting that we will be taught.  The teaching process can take some time, but we should be off the milk and into solids, because if we are hungry, we will read and study intensely and cover much ground in no time at all regarding the milk, ready to move on.

So God gives every man a different measure, and what one lacks, another has.  All is to be shared and for our benefit.
Be careful what you reject, because it is serious.
A spirit of error, will only lead to more error, and stop the holy spirit from growing.
There is no reward in going against the truth, but condemnation.
It is a serious spiritual offence.

I am glad you know these things
But the Spirit does not grow?

Revelation is written but some seem to think they too can speak for God.
Their work needs close examination does it not?
