Hi GM,
He was already of God's creation as soul and spirit.
To be man he just need to have a body prepared.
In that way it was different to Adam.August 5, 2008 at 10:36 am#100197gollamudiParticipantIf so you are forgetting that the 'word was God' it proves Trinitarian view of the word who was also God and was with God the father became flesh Jesus. Do you say Jesus is also God who had incarnated in flesh?
August 5, 2008 at 10:43 am#100199NickHassanParticipantHi GM,
The god among the gods [so called by scripture] who was with but was not our God,
became flesh and dwelt among us.Psalm 86:8
There is no one like You among the gods, O Lord,Nor are there any works like Yours.Ps97
9For thou, LORD, art high above all the earth: thou art exalted far above all gods.Ps45
6Thy throne, O God, is for ever and ever: the sceptre of thy kingdom is a right sceptre.7Thou lovest righteousness, and hatest wickedness: therefore God, thy God, hath anointed thee with the oil of gladness above thy fellows.

Jesus Christ has come in the flesh.August 5, 2008 at 10:49 am#100203gollamudiParticipantSo what do you prove, a God had come in flesh?

Greetings GM…..”The Word”…..”Was God””,Was with God” and “The Word became flesh” every one of these statments suggests that the word was an intrigal element of the God Head….It does not suggest a free standing part of, in a sense that the word is a being…..”And God said let their be light”..
(“And God said”suggests that, by Gods' very Word the creation became reality)….Why is it so hard to reason that The Word has always existed ,just not in a fleshly form…And the word became flesh…at this point God saw fit to take his word, that was with him and implement his plan for humanity in Christ Jesus……If Iam off the track here please give me a hand…..August 5, 2008 at 6:37 pm#100237NickHassanParticipantQuote (gollamudi @ Aug. 05 2008,22:49) So what do you prove, a God had come in flesh?
Hi GM,
Jesus Christ is the Son of our God-he said so.
The Son of God, not his Father, came IN THE FLESH.
Scripture calls him a god but of course for us there is one God.
Then in this wonderful vessel God Himself as Spirit, visited his people.August 5, 2008 at 11:04 pm#100290Not3in1ParticipantQuote (Nick Hassan @ Aug. 06 2008,06:37) Then in this wonderful vessel God Himself as Spirit, visited his people.
When you say, “…God himself as Spirit, visited….” it seems as though you are implying that God incarnated Jesus literally. That God HIMSELF was in Jesus (meaning, a take over of body – body snatcher's essentially). If you were to say, “Then in this wonderful vessel of His Son, God Himself was represented to the world.” That would sound more scriptural to me. Rather, I would understand that better. Is this what you meant to convey?
August 5, 2008 at 11:17 pm#100294NickHassanParticipantHi not3,
Does the Spirit live in you and lead you?No different.
God was IN CHRIST[not as Christ] reconciling the world to Himself”[2Cor5]we follow
Eph3
19And to know the love of Christ, which passeth knowledge, that ye might be filled with all the fulness of God.August 5, 2008 at 11:44 pm#100300Not3in1ParticipantOK, good, I understood you correctly.
I mean, really, around here you just never know what little quirky belief will come up!
Off to football practice in near 90 degree weather (poor kids).

I now can get where from your beliefs originate. It is more nearer to Arianism than Trinity. You really miss the verse Jn 1:1,“In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God”.
As our brother Theodorej says it either proves the Trinity if you say the 'word' was another being apart from the person God or it proves Jewish monotheism if you belief 'word' was an attribute of the same 'mono' or One God. I believe the latter interpretation which does not make God into Poly or Trinity.
Thanks and blessings
AdamAugust 6, 2008 at 4:47 am#100331NickHassanParticipantHi Gm,
Fear of polytheism is no motivation for making sound doctrine either.
If Scripture calls Jesus, Satan and even men gods we should get over it.August 6, 2008 at 5:03 am#100337gollamudiParticipantSo called gods or false gods not True God who is the Father. Why get confused my brother?
August 6, 2008 at 5:05 am#100340NickHassanParticipantHi GM,
If you worship serve other gods than the God of Jesus then you have a problem.
Is satan the god of this world?August 6, 2008 at 5:07 am#100343gollamudiParticipantWhere? did you find I am doing my brother?
Do you judge me like that?August 6, 2008 at 5:09 am#100345NickHassanParticipantHi GM,
If you do not then you should see that neither do we.
You cannot deny scripture to preserve your doctrines. Is satan scripturally the god of this world?
August 6, 2008 at 5:14 am#100349gollamudiParticipantWhy you are so much interested in that phrase? Does that make Satan true God?
