Hi,
Bob the builder took his blind friend Tom to show him the new building he had created.
They walked inside and Tom said
” My it is warm in here.”
Bob replied
” It sure is Tom and it's very bright too because of the big windows I built on the walls. The sun just streams in and warms and lights this place up magnificently”” I understand that Bob” said Tom ” light and heat comes from the sun and through those windows”
” There are also lights on the ceiling” said Bob.
” That is impossible Bob ” said Tom ” because you just said light comes from the sun. You can't have it both ways”
Bob replied ” Well there is a switch on the wall, Tom, and electricity flows through wires hidden in the walls to the light bulbs and when you turn on the switch the room fills up with light”
” I hate to call you a liar Bob, but light cannot come from switches, through wires to lightbulbs as we both have already agreed it comes from the Sun. I am going to stop you right there before we come to blows” said Tom.
“Ok Tom” said Bob” I was going to tell you about the heaters as well but perhaps another time”
