    Good points…

People…obviously there are differences in the way..people see GOD….

But differences are not necessarily bad…differences either create WALLS or build BRIDGES….

I doubt seriously…GOD will let the our perceived differences in faiths build walls between his children….

Its up to us to believe and worship in spirit and truth…if we love GOD and our neighbor..we will not judge our fellow mans walk..we will simply love and acknowledge the wonderful journey

Remember its not the end of the trip that we remember..its what happens along the way..

    Hi,
    So all ways are right?
That makes Jesus a liar though does it not?
Yet scripture says no lie was ever found in his mouth?

    Hi dk,
How many ways did Jesus offer?
Did he suggest that pagan worship was just as useful?

Nick…. hmm, and why do you accuse a brother of HUMANISM, sounds like your being cynic to me. “O” what we do to puff ourselves up.

Haven't you read where it says “let every man be convinced in his (OWN MIND)”. and again “Have you faith, have it unto yourselves”  Tim is seeking a personal relationship with GOD and HIS words. Who are you “O” man to judge that. You would be far better Judging yourself Brother. IMO

    peace and love…………….gene

    GB,
When did discussion on thoughts presented here become an attack or judgement on the person who presented them?

This site exists for such discussion.

    Wake up.

The same amount of ways the other “messiahs” in the other faiths offer

    Hi DK:

    Jesus said the following:

    Quote
Jhn 14:6 Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.

The wages of sin is death, and without his sacrifice, there is no resurrection from the dead. He overcame sin, death and the grave, and we through him also overcome as we learn to apply his commandments in our daily life and by his blood that washes away our sins when we miss the mark.

There is no other way to be reconciled to God because without the sacrifice all are dead to God in their sins.

No one else but Jesus has loved us enough to give his life wo that we can have the privilege and honor of being children of the Most High God, and I will serve him because I love him and appreciate what he has done for me.

I have prayed to God and have felt that he responded. I honestly do not know if the God that responded was the God of the bile or not.
Because when I have prayed, before studying the bible, for the Holy Ghost to lead me to understanding, I have been left
decidedly alone in my studies. Many of the things that I have read in the bible, not all mind you, leave me disgusted and less than in awe of the God described there.

If the God of the bible loves us so much, and wants for us to come to Him, why then does He make it so hard to understand His word?
Why would He not jump on faith the size of a mustard seed, and help it to grow, instead of blinding that person with confusion?

    Tim

    Sigh….

So many of your thoughts and feelings are mine as well, bro.

Thank you not 3, and DK,
I so often feel alone in what I believe.

    Hold on a second bub,
It doesn't necessarily make Jesus a liar.
Did JESUS write the words down?

Because there's only ONE RIGHT CHOICE, right?

Hmmmm. What of the dedicated Buddhist who will never hear about Jesus as long as he lives?

Did he make the wrong choice?

I would love to be a certain and confident in my belief as Nick is.
He unflinchingly believes every word that is written in the bible.

I just pray that he never handles poisonous snakes or drinks poison to prove his faith.

What is the definition of false religion according to the bible?

Of course each leader is going to protect his corner on the market. The writers of the bible are no different.

I think there is a fine line between being indoctrinated and living a life of faith.

    Hi Mandy and all

You can't prove your faith by doubting the Word of God; that is were faith begins.

Rom 10:17 So then faith cometh by hearing, and hearing by the word of God.

God can not work with you if you don't believe him.
I am not familiar with Buddhist religion or Muslims or Hindus for that matter, but I am aware of only one gospel that offers salvation through Jesus Christ. He said, he is the only way, so there can't be any other way's. There is no one else through who's sacrifice you can have your sins forgiven. As far as I am concerned there is no room for argument on that point.

exactly…the “choice” he made was based on his geographical location….Christians would have this man being judged adversely….but trust MAndy…GOD

is bigger than the thoughts of any one faith…

    So while they condemn…GOD loves..

    Hi tim,
1Then was Jesus led up of the Spirit into the wilderness to be tempted of the devil.

2And when he had fasted forty days and forty nights, he was afterward an hungred.

3And when the tempter came to him, he said, If thou be the Son of God, command that these stones be made bread.

4But he answered and said, It is written, Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that proceedeth out of the mouth of God.

5Then the devil taketh him up into the holy city, and setteth him on a pinnacle of the temple,

6And saith unto him, If thou be the Son of God, cast thyself down: for it is written, He shall give his angels charge concerning thee: and in their hands they shall bear thee up, lest at any time thou dash thy foot against a stone.

7Jesus said unto him, It is written again, Thou shalt not tempt the Lord thy God.
