    Hi TK,
Satan, the serpent, the devil, became the god of Adam and his offspring because of the original man's choice.
Since then his servants have lived in and worked through these available human vessels.
Jesus, empowered with God's Spirit, began the reclamation process.
Now rescue is available to all who choose it.

Almost perfect Nick except for one thing. Jesus did not merely begin the reclamation process. He FINISHED the work entirely. Satan is in the lake of fire. Praise His name!

    Hi TT,
    Really?

    Nick,
Have I been so long  time with you and you don't know my arguments? Jesus said “NOW is the judgment of this world. NOW is the prince of this world cast out (John 12:31-32).

From what was satan cast out if not the world? And where was he sent if not the lake of fire? Jesus said “NOW.”

So what is your inference? From what was satan cast out and to what was he sent?

    Hi TT,
Are we allowed to make our our minds up and teach without support?

What scripture can you offer to show that satan is operating in the world today?

    Hi TT,
    Read the newspapers.

But even if you could prove that you should not make presumptuous statements about where satan is should you?

And the great dragon was cast out, that old serpent, called the Devil, and Satan, which deceiveth the whole world: he was cast out into the earth, and his angels were cast out with him.
    Revelation 12:8-10

For they are the spirits of devils, working miracles, which go forth unto the kings of the earth and of the whole world, to gather them to the battle of that great day of God Almighty.
    Revelation 16:13-15

    Hey, thinker

Rev 20:14 And death and hell were cast into the lake of fire. This is the second death.
1Cr 15:26 The last enemy that shall be destroyed is death.
    Hbr 2:14 Forasmuch then as the children are partakers of flesh and blood, he also himself likewise took part of the same; that through death he might destroy him that had the power of death, that is, the devil;

    When did that all happen?

12:31 Now is the judgment of this world; now the ruler of this world65 will be driven out.

The ruler of this world is a reference to Satan.

Or “will be thrown out.” This translation regards the future passive ἐκβληθήσεται (ekblhqhsetai) as referring to an event future to the time of speaking.

The phrase driven out must refer to Satan’s loss of authority over this world. This must be in principle rather than in immediate fact, since 1 John 5:19 states that the whole world (still) lies in the power of the evil one (a reference to Satan).

In an absolute sense the reference is proleptic. The coming of Jesus’ hour (his crucifixion, death, resurrection, and exaltation to the Father) marks the end of Satan’s domain and brings about his defeat, even though that defeat has not been ultimately worked out in history yet and awaits the consummation of the age.

Thinker have you noticed that in the Bible, especially with reference to God, when he says something is to be done (even when it's future) he often speaks as if it's already done.
He must speak this way because whatever he says is as good as done, it must come true.

Also, if the exact second Jesus said those words in John 12 meant that Satan was cast out then, what did Jesus mean when he said in John 14: “The ruler of the world is coming. And he has no hold on me.”—Joh 14:30.
Was Satan coming back out of the lake of fire you speak of?
And what of the abyss mentioned in Revelation. The one where he is to go and then be let loose for a little while?

He believes in the traditions of man, ofcoarse he thinks satan is dead.

David,l what do you expect from a Trinitarian, his SUNday school probably taught him that.

Careful folks, TT is going to quote John chapter 12 for the next 40-50 pages like he has done with the Temple of idols in the Halloween postings, he tosses out a verse and beats it to death think the more he quotes it the more real it becomes.
