Why is that churches can’t get along? When revivals are set , only the denominational people show up. Is it because of chisms, stubbleling blocks, fear of losing members? I don’t have the answeres but this one truth.
One church responded by saying ," you come to my church and have a revival only." I understand this mite of thought from this one example. Tent Revivals accomplishes getting SOME to cross the line of barriers set by our lack of unity. God said that a house dedivided cannot stand. Well , look around and observe God’s people. We have many lost souls today than ever before and some of our children are into sex, drugs, and alchol. Christians back-sliding , and God’s word waxing cold in our mist. I believe that revival time is now and if any church is having revival go there and get revived and lift up the name of Jesus . Christians are the first to be judged ( Rev) and that means you. Two 16 yr old children died of an overdose of drugs. Two adults 33 and 35 died from an over-dose of drugs. It is reported that 13 yr olds are selling their bodies for drugs and other horrible reasons. Time for unity in Christ Jesus is now beloved and make a stand for Jesus. Are we doing our all for lost souls? Lets have revival , revival , revival !
Let’s breakdown the barriers of unblief and the lack of unity. ……………..God blessAugust 11, 2003 at 9:07 am#26478ProclaimerParticipantI agree, and I also see what you see with regards to denominational division.
Jesus said that a Kingdom divided cannot stand and this is why the Church struggles.
There are things that need to happen in order for the Body of Christ to come into the unity of the faith. One of those things is that the Church needs to realise that it is ONE BODY and that there is one faith, one God and Father of all and one Lord etc. If I am the mouth, you may be the ear. But we are all connected to Christ.
This truth is absolutely necessary in order to reach unity, but the Apostle Paul warned us that many people will come amongst us and draw men away after themselves.
So what is the answer.
Well it needs to start with you and me. When God is happy with the work he has done in our lives, he will use us as a model to other believers and will use us to make disciples. Converts are not enough.
I heard once that the Communist revolution in Russia started with (I think) 8 dedicated people. Kinda shows you the power of unity.
Big things start as small things. We are the small things and revival starts in our hearts.
August 11, 2003 at 10:31 am#26479GJGParticipantHi all,
I see and hear alot about Pastor Brian Tamaki on television and how that particular church seems to be growing quite large.
Why is it that the church him and his wife started(I think), is growing so rapidly?
Would this be considered revival?
August 12, 2003 at 3:30 am#26483thehappymanParticipantI pray that is it a revival , because if ever a time for it, is now……. Revival in action …….. This is what I ‘m talking about. By your testomy , Pastor Brian acting out their faith with works in action towards others that they might come into the personal relationship with God and our Lord Jesus. GJG, I have also found some that are growing in number only, God forbid. We need to have a revival that God ‘s spiritual gifts touch the very heart of all the people. I try to always look at " the skull " and the cross and the sinners who chose their paths. One denied Jesus and the other defended Jesus and stated to Jesus , " "Remember me when thou comest into thy kingdom; Jesus answered and said today shalt thou be with me in paradise." Our Redeemer redeemed that day ! Awesome. What a revival that took place that day.(Luke 23:343) …………………GodBless ……Remember …..
………………………..REVIVAL EVERYONE ………………………..October 22, 2003 at 8:04 pm#26480AnonymousGuestThe answer you seek is a simple one.
The Churches of the Christ will not stand for they are all built on deception.
Why would the Prophets warn that a false savior was coming?
Why is it written in the Prophets that in the Last Days Father Yahweh would establish His House?
Why did all the true Apostles of Yahshua Messiah warn their followers that Satan would deceive the whole world? Rev.12:9Want to know the answers?
Then come on by.

October 26, 2003 at 6:43 am#26484thehappymanParticipantI read the Rev.12:9 but you should have read on to see the real truth that lies within your palms. You should read the Book of Enoch and then you will see some very interesting facts arise. Revival , is important and needed because many have perversed the Holy Bible and have made other books to imitate Christ and His followers. Why would I take the book of yahweh in place of the Holy Bible? Why not spread the true gospel thru revival and truth. If we are of God ; why not in one accord and unity , or does your book state something to cause the lack of unity? It’s not what ‘s over the door that makes a church , it’s what’s in it. We need revival every day. Thank you Iyyob for your input and suggestions about yahweh. May Jehovah Bless you.

November 25, 2004 at 7:54 pm#26485NickHassanParticipantHi,
How can you have revival if there is no life? Where is the power of God visible or is it not wanted by comfortable ritualistic religion? You need resurrection, not revival. The lack of life is because the true gospel of the kingdom has not been preached and there is not true worship of the Father. The foundation laid is not the Word of God but some leader and his teachings perhaps?
Jesus said signs would follow with those who believe. Jesus warned the power of God would be denied by churches in the endtimes. Of course there are false signs too but that should not stop us seeking the blessing of God.Would Jesus be welcome in any church today or would he be thrown out?
November 27, 2004 at 1:28 am#26486AnonymousGuestwhat is the true gospel of the kingdom?

Acts 2November 27, 2004 at 2:32 am#26488AnonymousGuestI don't see the words “true gospel of the kingdom” in these chapters. Can you explain to me why you do?
November 27, 2004 at 10:06 am#26489NickHassanParticipantHi,
What are you looking for ?
Are you looking for words or a message?November 28, 2004 at 8:36 am#26490AnonymousGuestAren't both the definition and message of the gospel (which means good news) found in 1 Cor 15 vs 1-4?
November 28, 2004 at 8:49 am#26491NickHassanParticipantHi guest,
I cor 15 .114 is a reminder of the gospel preached and already responded to by the listeners. All of these letters are written to the saved and not the unsaved. He is writing to the chuches made up of baptised believers and advising them to hold fast to what they have already received which saved them and will save them unless they reject it. - AuthorPosts
