the serious followers of Christ had to meet secretly in houses, for fear of persecution,Rev 12:6 And the woman fled into the wilderness, where she hath a place prepared of God, that they should feed her there a thousand two hundred and threescore days.
A wilderness is not heaven, it is the world (jungle),
and in this jungle, during this specific time after Christ's resurrection,
the serious followers were fed the truth, and this truth was protected and preserved from the wicked one for 3 1/2 years, otherwise we would not have received the truth today. (Maybe the New testament copies were also being made during this time?)So, to answer your question
1. The woman is Zion (God's church/spiritual city, which comes down from heaven)2. The wilderness is the world (babylon)
3. After 3 1/2 years, Satan sends a flood out after the Woman's seed (followers of Christ), and has being doing so ever since to this day.
The flood is his wrath, and he does this by contaminating the truth, and with persecutions. The truth is being even more contaminated to this day, this is his main weapon. Very cunning. Make the followers drunk. Then greater persecutions will occur again, soon, affecting all christians of the world,
