Rom 8
4 That the righteousness of the law might be fulfilled in us, who walk not after the flesh, but after the Spirit.5 For they that are after the flesh do mind the things of the flesh; but they that are after the Spirit the things of the Spirit.
6 For to be carnally minded is death; but to be spiritually minded is life and peace.
7 Because the carnal mind is enmity against God: for it is not subject to the law of God, neither indeed can be.
8 So then they that are in the flesh cannot please God.
9 But ye are not in the flesh, but in the Spirit, if so be that the Spirit of God dwell in you. Now if any man have not the Spirit of Christ, he is none of his.
10 And if Christ be in you, the body is dead because of sin; but the Spirit is life because of righteousness.
In context Paul is speaking of the carnally minded compared with those led by the Spirit.
The flesh is dying and is condemned and it has no future.

God destroyed the first creation by the flooding the World with water. The drove signified the new lands had been cleansed and the birth of the new world had started.

When the dove returned to him in the evening, there in its beak was a freshly plucked olive leaf! Then Noah knew that the water had receded from the earth.Mark 1:10
Just as Jesus was coming up out of the water, he saw heaven being torn open and the Spirit descending on him like a dove.Jesus did not need John baptism to access he for his very own hands created the heavens.
Jesus became the Son of man for our sake so we could be one with him in his baptism – One Lord – One Spirit, One baptism, One Body. Don't be born of this earth but be born into the One Body and the One Spirit.Through Jesus example of the baptism of John he created the new creation, the Holy Spirit as the drove descended on Jesus to signified that we are now longer to be born of this world but born in Christ and his baptism.
Matthew 3:11 onwards
“I baptize you with water for repentance. But after me comes one who is more powerful than I, whose sandals I am not worthy to carry. He will baptize you with the Holy Spirit and fire.12 “His winnowing fork is in His hand, and He will thoroughly clear His threshing floor; and He will gather His wheat into the barn, but He will burn up the chaff with unquenchable fire.”Life in the Son, the savior and in his beautiful name

We must follow the Lord through the water and into the Spirit.
We must be baptised into his death[water] and resurrection[Spirit]

Hi Nick,Indeed,
with his Love comes his favor.
Yet knowledge saves..Only if the Israelites knew who the Lord was they would have crucified him as the Lord of glory, instead they exchanged their glorious God for something disgraceful.
Hosea 4

2 Thessalonians 2:8

The apostles received the Holy Spirit,
and they dont have debates;for they all are one in spirit.Why are we devided in knowledge?
Is it not because the Holy Spirit is not in us?
Anyone can claim to have the H. Spirit,but the fact is
that they are still divided.

No man knows the Son but the Father; and no man knows the Father but the Son;
