Nick,I warn you to test the teaching you hold onto just as Paul warned Timothy. I warn you that basing your belief on one scripture that experts interpret differently is high risk behavior. I also point out that you do not have even one reliable witness to support your claim, while I have the Paradise of God and the tree therein as well as the account of the resurrection of Christ.
The seed body of Jesus died and was placed in the tomb on the end of the first day; the plant body it became arose on the third day. This is what we are taught about the resurrection body in 1 Corinthians 15. This application of Scripture agrees with the International Standards assertion that flesh and blood is a method of saying mortal body.
Lack of knowledge can get you into trouble; but the refusal to adjust your view based on new knowledge will enlarge that trouble.

Nick,Experts are scribes. They diligently seek to understand Scripture. What they teach is of some use in understanding the language used in Scripture but if you are not drawn by the Spirit it does no good.
I agree that the Paradise of God; and tree of life thereof; will be on the new earth as it was on this earth in the beginning. God's kingdom will also be on earth as it is in heaven at that time; just like it was in the beginning.
The mortal body will not inherit the new earth; just like it does not belong in the Paradise of God; and was banned from there.
The mortal body dies; the soul does not. The soul waits in Sheol(Hades) to be clothed with the immortal body; even as the soul of Jesus waited.

There is a remnant among the Scribes. Bibles are translated by Scribes, so what you read; is what Scribes decided to write.

That was only the beginning of visible creation.Satan had already rebelled and yet was still able to meet with the sons of God in heaven as Jb 1-3 tells us.
I think God chose The devil's homeland of earth to begin His restoration of creation using lowly and fallen mankind to shame the greater angelic beings.He eventually will cleanse heaven[rev12] and earth in His new creation.
