Hello, I am a new poster and reader to this website and such I want to thank our host, for I appreciate the goals and freedom herein.
As I was looking through the questions section I read the area on reincarnation and would like to offer a few thoughts:
First is the claim that “Reincarnation is a doctrine of demons and it openly encourages the worship of many gods…”
My answer is that this is not so, it appears you are confusing the concept of reincarnation which is the idea that souls are reborn into the physical world from some spiritual plane with certain belief systems ie., Hinduism from which it appears you make your comparison. On Hinduism I won't comment as my knowledge is too limited.
“So how do we know if something is good, well Jesus said we know by looking at the fruits. Now the fruits of reincarnation are a society of extreme wealth and poverty side by side, because reincarnation is an enemy to a Godly attribute called charity. Look at the part of the world where Hinduism is strongest, and then look at the fruit of that regions lifestyle. . “
Again you are confusing Hinduism with reincarnation they are not equivalent. Reincarnation is a concept not a doctrine. And for that matter if we look at the fruits of much of Christianity from the Crusades, the Inquisition and the conversion of both Old World and New World pagans we can see a lot of rotten fruit there too. (The old adage about living in glass houses comes to mind here).
“God forgives all our sins if we forgive others their sins and turn from our own sins to serve him. Reincarnation denies this ultimatum but does recognize Jesus as one way to God, usually for those who cannot create their own good karma and have to rely on Jesus karma to get through.”
Not really, karma is basically the law of cause and effect, what goes around comes around in common venacular. If one truly follows Jesus then you would be living a good life and so good would eventually follow. If you could truly live as Jesus did, sinless, there would be no bad karma generated to pay off. You are not using Jesus' karma but if you follow his path you would be paying off debts per se rather then incurring them.
“We should all realize that without God's grace we are doomed and that we cannot save ourselves, because we have all sinned and fallen short of God's Glory. Pride stops us from accepting Gods free gift of salvation, pride says that I can reach God's glory myself. Is this not the error of Babel, where they built a tower that reached toward the heavens, so they could try to reach God in their own strength. A tower that provided salvation in case God flooded the earth again. We shouldn't perpetuate Babel and it successor Babylon which is the system of false religion. “
I don't dispute the first part of your statement but again reincarnation is a concept perhaps wrong, but it is not a religion or a spritual system in itself. In some systems that embrace reincarnation and the related concept of karma, it is believed that man is trapped by the law of karma into continual rebirths until he can rise above and evolve to where it is no longer needed or in yet other views accepts the path of Jesus and therefore can while, not breaking the law of karma, but in essence rise above it.
I don't mean to preach or even support this concept but felt that nonetheless it was treated unfairly in the question section. This does not denigrate the site's belief that the concept is wrong but rather that your arguments why it is wrong are misdirected toward one belief system (ie. Hinuism) among many that embrace this concept. Thanks, by the way this my first post on this or any website so please forgive in advance any procedural or web etiquette errors on my part.
