    Psalm 119:11
    King James Version (KJV)

11Thy word have I hid in mine heart, that I might not sin against thee.

Is The Word, Jesus or is Jesus the Archetype and Mediator of those that have hidden the Word in their heart.

    Hi KW,
Indeed man cannot live on bread alone.
The Word fed on can cleanse and protect.
Some are even washed by the Word Jn15

    Nick,

I am hoping that certain individuals come to realize that Jesus is not the Word as the Word is hidden in his heart.

On the other hand he is called The Word for the same reasons he is also called Faithful and True.

    Hi Kerwin,

Where is he ever called “The Word”? …NO SUCH VERSE EXISTS!

    Your brother
    in Christ, Jesus.

    Ed J,

I used “called” as a synonym of “name” to match it up to Faithful and True.

    Revelation 19
    King James Version (KJV)

11And I saw heaven opened, and behold a white horse; and he that sat upon him was called Faithful and True, and in righteousness he doth judge and make war.

    and

    Revelation 19
    King James Version (KJV)

13And he was clothed with a vesture dipped in blood: and his name is called The Word of God.

    Both use “called”.

    Hi Kerwin,

When comparing Rev.19 to Isaiah 63, it becomes abundantly
clear that the “HolySpirit” is the word. (see also John 6:63)

                          “The Word” is the “HolySpirit”!
And “HolySpirit” is HE and I !

Rev. 19:13 He was clothed with a vesture dipped in blood.
Isaiah 63:3 Their blood shall be sprinkled upon my garments

Revelation 19:15 He treadeth the winepress
Isaiah 63:3 I have trodden the winepress alone

Isaiah 63:11 He that put His HolySpirit within
Rev.19:13 His name is called The Word of God.

             But they rebelled, and vexed
         his HolySpirit: therefore he
was turned to be their enemy,
         and he fought against them.

Isaiah 63:10 I will tread down the people in mine anger
…and I will bring down their strength to the earth.
Revelation 19:15 Out of His mouth goeth (The Word) a sharp sword,
that with it He should smite the nations.

    God bless

    Hi Ed,
The WORD is OF God's Holy Spirit.
The Spirit is more than the Word
The Holy Spirit is OF God

    all

it is not given to all men to see the truth ,but only to those who seek it truthfully, without precondition in their heart,

but this most of us know that, but do not change their heart ,and so follow there own and personal conception of what the scriptures are saying and not saying, and relish and strive in their own muddy waters

    Hi KW,
    Good point.

So what of what John said in Jn1 and 1 Jn1 about the WORD
Was he speaking of the SPIRIT IN JESUS?

if you would have done what verse 11 says ,you would have more understanding of the words of God or word (scriptures )

    Nick,

I do not believe he was speaking of the Spirit of God directly.  I do believe he was doing so indirectly as the Spirit reveals the Word and is inseparable from the Word.

John's purpose is to emphasize the role of the Word.  This emphasize leads to Some confusing the Word with the Archetype and Perfecter of those who house the Spirit; that reveals the Word.

    Hi KW,
So in a round about way you agree?
