This is for Mikeangel, and all the other brethren struggling in the world,
Your mind is the most powerful force in the universe next to God. As a matter of fact we are created in God's likeness and He did exactly the things I am going to present here:
Thought > Speech > Belief > ActionYour mind creates “frequencies” that are sent out into the universe like radio waves and your desires come back in full effect. You send out negative thoughts, negative results come back to you. You send out positive thoughts, positive things will happen to you.
Here are some Scriptures that show only a piece of my idea. There are a lot of people here that could give hundreds of verses that basically say the same thing SO PLEASE WRITE AND GIVE POSITIVE SCRIPTURES, but I want to keep it brief….and hopefully they will make sense to you and bring you peace.
Ps 37:4 Delight yourself in the LORD; And He will give you the desires of your heart.
Matthew 7:7 “Ask, and it will be given to you; seek, and you will find; knock, and it will be opened to you.
Eph 3:20 Now to Him who is able to do far more abundantly beyond all that we ask or think, according to the power that works within us,
Thoughout the Bible there is a law in effect; the law of attraction—what you think, you receive.
If you have kids it will be easier to understand how God is. Your children make a wish list of things they want. What do you do? You listen and then try to give them the best gifts possible and more. God is even more generous.
Jesus said God is the same way. As a matter of fact he said (to the effect) that God was there to grant your every wish, and not only that but more abundantly. Trust Him and try Him!
The negative soothsayers will tell you why this isn't true but that is the lot in their life….negativity. If you want anything differently, God says that there isn't anything too great for him.
He told Solomon to ask for ANYTHING and it would be his so, he asked for Wisdom…God granted that and EVERYTHING he didn't ask for.
David asked to abide in the House of God forever. He is.
Mike, the Bible is full of God fulfilling wishes.
Jesus said that the people didn”t receive because they didn't believe they would receive. Jesus said that it was a person's faith that made them well, not him. He was only a mediator between a person's thought, speech (ask), seek (believe) and receive.
The biggest influence on your thoughts are your FEELINGS. If you can give yourself GOOD VIBRATIONS you will be happy and have a good outlook and bring good things your way.
The only “true” act of creation that we can do are our thoughts. So guard them carefully, they are powerful.
God created the universe out of nothing. So He can create what you want from the mind and desires of the heart. Jesus said that He knows what you need before you ask…He only wants you to acknowledge what you want, acknowledge who gave it to you and then to give thanks and take care of it after you receive it.
Seek first the kingdom of God and all these things will be added unto you.
Not only will you receive,,,,but also 100 times this, said Jesus.
He sent 70 disciples out with nothing and they came back rejoicing…not complaining.
He hates luke warmedness, He'll spit you out of His mouth. He wants you to have passion, get excited, return to that first love and believe in Him and trust Him for everything….and KNOW He will do what you ask of Him.
Over half of diseases come from “Bad” thinking. Think “bad” long enough your body becomes ill at ease and gets sick.
God never says to NOT ask for health or wealth, He expects it from you. And when you have it He asks that you help others that lack.
The brethren that are sinning He says to persuade them gently to get back into right relation with Him because one day it will be you.
Sister Theresa never prayed for the war to be over, she prayed for peace. Don't focus on the things you don't want, but focus on the things you do want.
But I'll warn you not to ask for patience for if you do you will be placed in the midst of troubles to try your patience.
This trek that you're about to set upon is like a night trip, you get to see only 100 yards ahead of you and you expect the road to be in front of you the next 100 yards.
You must take one step at a time.
1-Visualize what you want and make a list. Meditate.
2-Speak it out loud into the universe…Prayer (Ask)
3-Thank God for giving it to you….expect Him to give it to you, He wants to. It is already yours…Believe
4-Be expecting it to arrive and take care of it when you get it. Receive.Believe in the awesome God of the universe who owns everything in it and wants to share it with you, His child.
Praise him, sing joyful songs, and have a spring in your step. Greet everyone with a smile and a kind word (blessing) and all of this will return to you.
Again in summary:
Delight in the LORD
Think! Visualize! Speak! Trust! Receive!
Ask (Desires of your heart > Believe (Without waverng) > Receive (Abundantly)Mike, what do you want?
Think about it, visualize it, ask for it, believe you have RECEIVED it (already) and wait for it to happen.
Thoughts become things.
Start your day being thankful (really thankful) for what you have: Food, clothes, shelter, health, beautiful wife (if you think she is bad, she becomes bad), loving friends and family, etc.
Pray for others….ask
Pray for yourself….askLook for answers to previous prayers….believe & receive.
Remember that God started with nothing so if that is where you are starting from you'll be able to get to where you want to go, beginning with your thoughts, your speech, your actions (which become habit)….YOU. You are what you THINK!
For you Christians out there:
What other ways can we be positive and help others to get over a bad time in life? Think and respond for Mike and others who may not have work, are sick or are in need of a kind word of encouragement.
Let's get posts of Scripture verses that give positive promises that we can be thankful for.
May God richly bless you and yours,
David
