Poem above 'In His Presence'
third line should read 'There is no worldly laughter'Realities
Come out of her my people
I call you with many voices
For I know every hair on your head
I know your needs
Your thoughts are my thoughts
Your door is My door.My house has many doors
But only one room
My people gather there
And wait for my call.
Strangers cannot enter
Their reality is far removed.May 27, 2009 at 3:33 am#131787lineonParticipantQuote (Texas @ May 13 2009,16:52) Quote (heiscomingintheclouds @ Oct. 04 2006,11:25) Would anyone be interested in a Poetry Thread?
This following Poem is a Based on the Bible. At one point I had a scripture cited at every line. I have since removed those though. Here it is:
I'll Try!
Forced to face just what I am by my analysis of me –
Facing the truth of what I am and I hate what I now see –
To change the things that I must change appear to me to
be –
A Mountain insurmountable looming high over me –
Half way along I stopped and clung so desparately –
The sheer high wall was just too steep, and I fell back to the
sea
I rose once more to inch along so slowly I did rise –
I doubted that I'd ever reach, that summit oh so high – and I
fell –
I've fallen many times its true, but wearily I try with eyes
fixed on that summit so high up in the sky –
I'll fall again, I know that well, and I have so many times –
But I'll get back up again, and try and try and try –
Why do I try to climb this Mountain Oh so high? To change
the things that I now see, that put me down on bended
knee?
Because this ugly reality has always been mine, and it looks
like a Mountain that I'll never climb- But I'll try- I'll try- I'll try. Texas
I'll Try!O! What I am I don't like to see
I want to hide it beneath my tree
My tree that should be me
Flourishing and free.My tree is wild and fruit full
Filled with fruit for all to see
I reach for love, for joy, for God's wisdom
But my branches are to thin to climb.I'll try, I must try again
The bottom branches that are to thin I'll trim
My temper I will poison, my knowledge I will realign,
God's wisdom will surely understand. For Texan, written with love in mind.

The one is tired
The other is asleep,
My Fathers alarm clock
Rings in my ear
Telling me the new day is here.I stretch and I yawn
As tired as can be
I need to sleep
Awake I do not want to be,
Dreams of money is enough for me.I roll over and place my feet on the mat
I get up and I stretch
But I am pulled back
I see me still fast asleep
Dreams of TV and alcohol is good for me.I prod and I pinch myself,
Am I awake
Is this still a dream?
My drunken stupor
Numbs me into dreams.I do not give up,
Awake I must be
My Father I want to see
For He wants to grant me
The gift of eternity. My two bodies
I reconcile,
I receive the gift of grace
The other gift is faith,
My dreams of eternity have become real to me.Lineon

I will be happy when the way is rough, because it gives my patience a way to grow.
So I will let it grow and not try to squirm out my problems.
For when my patience is finally in full bloom— then I will be ready
for anything strong in character, full and complete.Peace and Love Irene

It is a still and quiet landscape, no wind, no rain. These giant Redwood trees grow in perfection. The early morning sunshine filters through the branches, rays of light can be seen in between the trees. I walk in amongst this light.
Silhouetted against the light I see the form and shape of a brighter light. It is a light amongst light, dazzling the sunshine into obscurity.
There is no place for me to hide, no place for my face. So I turn around and walk the way I had come. But my eyes had glimpsed this purity, and the light has imprinted itself into my thoughts.
I cannot turn my back on the light, on purity.
I face the brightness of the light, I am blinded, a force knocks me off my feet.
Fright has not engulfed me I know there is no violence here only strength and peace.
I am awe struck my voice cannot call out, ‘My Lord my God have mercy on me.’ But my mind is not still I call out for enlightenment for strength of spirit to serve in a becoming manner. To be continued

I see and I feel the light pouring into me, I am over come with weariness. My eyes close, I am overcome with sleep.
I slept for many hours.
When I awoke it was dark, nightfall had come. The Redwood Trees towered above me silhouetted onto the night sky.
I lay on the ground for awhile thinking about the dazzling light that I had encountered while walking amongst these giants of nature.
I lay there thinking about the darkness that surrounds me, a darkness that is real that will engulf me if my hand reaches out to stroke its vanity.
The darkness that the night sky forces into my mind telling it, ‘You cannot be seen you can rampage through the night your lusts will be, will go unobserved.’
I call for our Lords sword of light that will cut into the night and let darkness be sliced up. My mind welcomes that light.
I walk through this forest of trees with an open mind, the darkness does not bother me.
My thoughts are on the goodness of life. On the purity of where I am a beggar receiving the water of life, so that my thirst is for ever quenched and my hunger for ever satisfied.
The water of life transforms me.Lineon

Have you combed your hair
Have you washed your feet
Are your clothes neat
Have you changed your underwear?
You must make sure that you will fit through the door
And that your height is just right from the floor! Our Lord will come in a rush,
Your hair will be uncombed
Your feet will be unwashed
Your cloths will be ruffled up
Your underwear will be old
A new door will stare you in the face
And your height from the floor should be just right. Many will come
They will show us tricks,
But the Lords new door
Cannot be conjured up from clouds or mist
His door is real
No faith can hold you back
Only our works of life will be our stumbling block.June 10, 2009 at 4:25 am#133066lineonParticipantWorldly Sanity?
Doctors of peace show their works
They aid
Gun wounds, knife wounds
Panga wounds, wipe wounds
Stoning wounds, shackle wounds
Bomb wounds, strangulation wounds
Starvation wounds, drowning wounds
Superstition wounds, magic wounds
Abusive wounds, rape wounds
Disease wounds
Child abuse wounds
They keep our sanity in place
God’s sense is still with us.June 10, 2009 at 9:39 am#133097CindyParticipantSpiritual Sunshine, Keep up the good work

June 10, 2009 at 8:15 pm#133131CindyParticipantHi lineone Please tell your wife thank you for Her good wishes. I am feeling somewhat better. Your feet are cold, get your self a heating blanket, that works. We have a lot of rain to deal with this week. That is not so pleasant either. On top of that it is 96% humidity. Hang in there all is temporally.

1.
“Sir is this the way into paradise?”
I asked
The man with a hood
Stood leaning on his crook
Pointing with his hand to the other side
I turned around and looked
And saw a bright recessed nook
“That door seems much to small!” I said
“To small for you to fit
Just right for all the misfits”
Said he who was hiding in the hood.
I pondered this with clammy hands
I was nervous and lost
As I was watching the door
It became smaller and smaller
And the color became brighter and brighter
I turned around wanting
To speak to the man
Who was leaning on his crook
He was not there
I am alone and lost
My only hope is this small door
I must become a misfit I thought.
I have life that is charmed
My needs are fulfilled
My thoughts are in no way in disarray
I am smarter than the rest
My IQ is the best
Why should I become a misfit? [to be continued]Lineon

As I was observing my surroundings
The small door in the nook opened
Particles of light entered
So tiny indeed
That I could blow them into the atmosphere
There is no way that I will become a misfit
A dwarf a circus freak
No way, my IQ is much to high
I felt that I was growing taller
So pleased was I with my self
I felt good, I felt strong
As I was observing my surroundings
I saw other shapes and forms
Arguing and fighting
With hooded men
For many days they wrestled
Sparring with words and fists
Until the hood started slipping off
I started realizing
The hooded men were wrestling with themselves
They became brighter with light
They over powered the self
Engulfed their own bodies with light
They slipped through the bright door
In the nook, as light. [to be continued]Lineon
August 17, 2009 at 11:04 pm#141251CindyParticipantHi lineon! Nice Poem, it kind of reminds me of Scripture says :” Many are called, but few are chosen.” The road to destruction is wide, while the road to Paradise is narrow. Thank you.

“I want to be fulfilled” I thought
“I want to be in control”
With these words
The man with the hood came to my side
And said
“I am your conscious you must become me
And I you”
“I become you? never my IQ is much to high”
I said
My conscious reminded me
Of all the millions of souls
I had slaughtered
Of all my thoughts that plotted evil
The way I treated my wife, mistresses
And children
“My name is Stalin
I am a survivor I shouted into my head”
With these words
I saw streams of light leave my body
And I became deadEnd
LineonAugust 18, 2009 at 9:19 pm#141362CindyParticipantOh, WoW Stalin. I wonder some times what is God going to do with them. Also Hitler. My Husband believes that those that God is not calling right now, will have a second chance in the Millenium. Only the truth will be taught then. After the Millenium Satan will be loosed again and the Bible says that a Multitude will follow Satan into the Lake of Fire.
