“If people let government decide what foods they eat and what medicines they take, their bodies will soon be in as sorry a state as are the souls of those who live under tyranny.”
-Thomas JeffersonNovember 28, 2008 at 7:41 am#112584TiffanyParticipantWill we have any choice? We can only buy the food which is in the Grocery Store. Then when as a child you do not get milk or Meat, so sad to see it still going on all over the world, even in these U.S.A. War is still roaring all over, childreen are hurting, Mothers weep. Will it get worse? Maybe, so hang in there.

I would like to step
Into Your reality
Into Your Glory
Into Your Light.This is where I want to be
In Your presence.Where grass and trees
Smell fresh with due,
Birds and animals
Live for You,
The ocean is smooth
Washing onto the shore
Where sunrise has no end
And sunset has no begging.That is where I want to be
In Your presence.Where we sing Your glories
A new life You will grant us
New words that all will understand
And our King we will meet
The forerunner
Of Your faith and grace.That is where I want to be
In Your presence.Lineon

Thank You Charity I love this, so positive, which We all need.
Smiles to brighten the day, when all is sad, a smile will lighten the load. Rainbows at the end of the day. We all need hugs.
Love IreneDecember 2, 2008 at 5:42 pm#112964lineonParticipantLife moves from age to age
Like the desert, age moves on at a steady pace,
Claiming youth and aged alike,
Mental and deformed,
Flowers and water
And the miracle makers wait,
Listening to the groans and jubilations of life,
Seeing tears and joy.
Mircale makers flow along with the pace of life
Waiting while all move along,
Waiting for us to erupt into emotions,
Spraying us with vibrations
Horrifying us from ourselves
Placing the Light at our feet.
All is darkness
Yet the mircale makers wait.
For their lamp stands have been lit by Christ
His Light is their faith,
No dark power can take it away.Lineon

I hear bullets thuding into walls
I hear bombs dicimating houses
Helicopters thump thumping the air
I hear old men shouting
Woman screaming
Children sobbing, speechless, naked with fright
Running for cover.Where are they
That say I must kill for the sake of sanity
Are they nearby
Or a million miles away
Are they holding their heads in their hands
Or are they toasting death as victory?
The sounds of war are all around me.This soldier took a bullet there was not enough time
For him to think about Life, Jesus Christ.Lineon

My mind is numb
My pimp is on the scene
He says my body must be seen
My legs are the best, he says.I believe him
He is my crutch
He is my defender
He supplies me with my dope.My mind is starting to clear
I must run
I must escape
But I need my fix.I need my fix
I am sweating
My nose is running
Thank you, thank you my mind is numb again.This street walker did not make it that night she was raped and strangled, she did not get to know Jesus Christ.

I am standing here begging and sniffing my glue, hiding it away
Hopeing for some change to come my way.O Lord please come and help me here,
Nobody, nobody seems to care,
My life's a begging I hear no sweet sounds today,
I hear no sweet sounds today,
God how I miss You today.I beg and I wait the street lights are on
The robort* changes from green to white,
I buy some food, some dagga* and glue
Just to stay in this state.O Lord please come and help me here,
Nobody, nobody seems to care,
My life's a begging I hear no sweet sounds tonight,
I hear no sweet sounds tonight,
God how I miss You tonight.The crowed has arrived
We shout and we joke we puff ourselves up for a fight,
The dagga and glue I know makes me careless
So that I can steal and rape to feel the high.O Lord please come and help me here,
Nobody, nobody seems to care,
My life's a begging I hear no sweet sounds today,
I hear no sweet sounds today,
God how I miss You today.

Greetings Lineon…….Sniffing Glue!!?? I can remember while growing up in my younger days in Brooklyn…The local street gang used to sniff testors glue….Just to show you how imaginative they were they named the gang The Testors…
Tis the season for depression to take its tole…In the light of all the merriment that is part of this so called holiday,we will be looking at an increase in suicide,murder,drunken revelery,and grand celebration of Greed and Selfishness…

yep that was a warm hug thanks theodorej.yet I think something is missing while people attempt to have Jesus responsible for mending the heart? (reality)
Nothing compares to having a friend, someone that still has has you in their mind while they have a million things to do.People are his body on earth, and it is possible to be thankful to him as you are given to live for another.
I think the priest are responsible for screwing up the context concerning the true meaning of Love. in order to Live their singular Lives more comfortably. in avoiding the wickedness of woman was just their answer to avoiding sin

I have two things on my wish list,harmony and honesty.
These two human traits must influence every nation,
every tribe, every race, every single human being.I know that every human being has got these traits in
their personnel make up but we have just lost them
and that is something to lament about.December 9, 2008 at 6:59 am#113498charityParticipantDesiderata
By Max EhrmannGo placidly amid the noise and haste,
and remember what peace there may be in
silence.
As far as possible without surrender
be on good terms with all persons.
Speak your truth quietly and clearly;
and listen to others,
even the dull and the ignorant;
they too have their story.Avoid loud and aggressive persons,
they are vexations to the spirit.
If you compare yourself with others,
you may become vain and bitter;
for always there will be
greater and lesser persons than yourself.Enjoy your achievements as well as your plans.
Keep interested in your own career,
however humble;
it is a real possession in the
changing fortunes of time.Exercise caution in your business affairs;
for the world is full of trickery.
But let this not blind you to what virtue there is;
many persons strive for high ideals;
and everywhere life is full of heroism.Be yourself.
Especially, do not feign affection.
Neither be cynical about love;
for in the face of all aridity and disenchantment
it is as perennial as the grass.Take kindly the counsel of the years,
gracefully surrendering the things of youth.
Nurture strength of spirit
to shield you in sudden misfortune.
But do not distress yourself with dark
imaginings.
Many fears are born of fatigue and loneliness.
Beyond a wholesome discipline,
be gentle with yourself.You are a child of the universe,
no less than the trees and the stars;
you have a right to be here.
And whether or not it is clear to you,
no doubt the universe is unfolding as it should.Therefore be at peace with God,
whatever you conceive Him to be,
and whatever your labors and aspirations,
in the noisy confusion of life keep peace with
your soul.With all its sham, drudgery, and broken dreams,
it is still a beautiful world.
Be cheerful.
Strive to be happy.December 9, 2008 at 1:02 pm#113501TimothyVIParticipantDesiderata was written by a fellow hoosier that lived not far from me.
