confusion breeds confusion builds as men takes steps beyond the plan
mist descends on what was clear, simplicity abandons ship
human doctrines defended make the way less visible
lamp of man so fickle, flickering cannot
    hold feet to the path

stillborn, not allowed to grow, abort lest ruling reign begins
all anointed from above can be as good soil, letting life
or as resistent path, trodden hard, plant will evidence
the seed, wheat not plucked from useless weeds
will the dim light glow be morning star, or firefly

the tares grow among the wheat in the field of our God
hard to pick the difference except in making bread
incapable of usefulness, vain image of the son
enjoying the sunshine, revelling in the rain
allowed to stay till harvest time then
bound up and stacked to burn

what servant comes to preach a kingdom bringing messages of eternal hope
then says to others round about that his master lies, is really out of date,
what chance that he be overheard and the whispers reach royal ears
how would that servant face his lord when he is finally recalled?

tread softly keep a cautious mouth we all must justify our pay
easier to say naught at all than slandering the glorious king
in whom our future hopes are rested, trainee princes
now being tested sad if failure resulted from
tripping over a flapping foolish tongue

I know most of you won't be able to read this, but I just had  an urge to do this. I sang this Song in front of about 1000 people at the Covention Center in Cincinnati, were the Kolping Society had a New's Year's Eve Dance. Since Georg and I got married on Jan. 14 I sing this to Him, and I told everybody so. I don't know what year that was, but it had to be before 1985, before God called us. Looking back, I think boy oh, boy did I have a lot of guts.

Unfortunely only lineon and God will know what I wrote unless you know German  :D :D :D

his family came to take him home, distraught he may be mad
he has a demon, others said, his work serving beelzebub
your great learning has made you mad Paul, Festus
once opined, it can be hard to distinguish
madness from work of God in men
    fruit proves the sacred seed
    the Spirit of power and
    a sound mind

I have a dream this day
To see our children play on streets paved with gold
Where woman and men love each other
laugh and joke until they are old
    Churches will be filled
no one will scron our Lord Jesus Christ.
Elephants will not have to hide
they will greet you with their sign
Birds will whistle and name their song 'Peace For All,'
Fish will abound in rivers clear.

I have a dream this day
That jails will become towns of rehabilitation
    Bombs will be melted down
Evil will be fought by everyone.
Animals will not be slaughtered for their mystical powers
Lions and crocodiles will be symbols of peace
and the oceans will not pound the shoreline like thunder.

I have a dream this day
That our Lord will full fill His plan and bless you and I
That He will transform, change our cloths
and leave us with His Light, within.
We will be able to forgive, bless and show concern to humankind
We will be able to pray, call upon His name
    and fullfil His will to-day
The outcast and sick will be healed and made to realise
    that they are humble inside.
All mankind will sing His glories
To our God who is One.

    I have a dream to-day.

    Which will not be moved.

I, the Rock, I the River, I the Tree
I am yours-your Passages have been paid.

Lift up your faces, you have a piercing need
For this bright morning drawing for you.

    History, despite its wrenching pain,
Cannot be unlived, and if faced
With courage, need not be lived again.

    Lift up your eyes upon
    The day breaking for you.

    Give birth again
    To the dream.

    Women, children, men,
Take it into the palms of your hands.

Mold it into the shape of your most
    Private need.  Sculpt it into
The image of your most public self.
    Lift up your hearts
Each new hour holds new chances
    For a new beginnings.

    Do not be wedded forever
    To fear, yoked eternally
    To brutishness.

    The horizon leans forward,
Offering you space to place new steps of change.
Here, on this pulse of this fine day
    You may have the courage
To look up and out upon me, the
Rock, the River, the Tree, your country.

No less to Midas than the mendicant.

No less to you now than the mendicant.

Here on the pulse of this new day
You may have the grace to look up and out
And into your sister's eyes, into
    Your Brother's face, your country
    And say simple
    Very simple
    With hope.

the schoolmaster corralled the lawless sheep awaiting shepherd's crook
unruliness constrained, contained, but no righteousness possible
fences held but not dispelled the sin that ruled within
    men found mirrors, moralism, boasting,
no insight to know only grace could bestow the freedom
all need desperately, grace came with the king given freely to all
but first the inside of the cup must be cleansed, we must
admit our guilt, not boast any good, admit nothing
of good is in me, i am helpless help me, i sink in
the sea, without needing a saviour, we cannot be saved.

pete couldn't swim but his portion of faith had propelled him to stand on the sea
now doubt settled in and was stronger within he had death in his sight very soon
better use of his faith to call out to the saviour who had grace in abundance to give
saved by knowledge of lack and helplessness with current grace he learned dependance
on him is safety, never again to presume on his own intuition thanks pete.. awesome dude

i know heaven is waiting to welcome me 'cause i obey all the commandments
almost perfectly, sure i've ticked all the boxes and been a nice guy,
and the nice guys i know seem to think the same too, i dress up so neatly
a church committee man, and i warm a church pew every sunday or two,
our reasonable God, Who must be like me, could expect nothing more,
what more could i do, i think i've done a good job and unless i'm mistaken,
    unless i'm mistaken.. unless i'm mistaken… unless i'm mistaken..He thinks so too

welcome to our group, please come on in, you're just in time to hear the choir sing
we're famous you know for our glorious praise and the wonderful sermons our pastor gives
look at the steeple have you seen such stained glass and the vestments and incense transport
us elewhere, sturdy pillars and brasswork abound all about and the bellringers skills are just something else

Take a bible as a reference, you must take one of these too, they help you to understand,
which the bible can't do, our great teachers and their studies, far above us
but we place there our trust, what else can we do.

thou shalt be moralistic, thou shalt obey our moral codes
we have found that concentration on our goodness is the key
to self satisfaction and the sense of personal self fulfillment
and it certainly makes clear where everyone else is deceived

the beetle browed moralists all speak in solemn tones
about how we should behave ourselves, strict moral codes,
the pharisees tried this before and it cut no ice with God
for man's efforts can never bless, He wants to do it all
filthy rags are our best hope, Christ is our righteousness

man never gives up hoping he can find a way to save himself
once he realises life is short and there a pile of rubbish out back
cleans his teeth and shines his shoes, practises self perfectionism
it cannot sort the problem, the remedy is given. You must be born again

the schoolmaster now can only stand back and watch
as the sons of resurection learn to take their first steps
stumbling tripping stubbing toes and making foolish mistakes
just like kids everywhere they must learn in the Spirit to walk
the school is now within, if their heart has listening ears, words
of the master living, guiding, reminding, helping, we cannot serve
two masters and the schoolmaster smiling, seeing maturity growing
stands back, releases, historical truth never wasted, alive now in Him

Children are sown as ventriloquists dummies.
Sitting on a wise man's knees,
    learning to utter the past down words of wisdom;
or even indulge in sheer diabolism.
    Yes it is all reality
    Very real!
When one has learned the power to fifill a dead mans dream.

some are fearful, wish to return to safe old guidelines
all this walking is scary can you take me in your pram

but the gentiles never had a school or master
they were lost outside the hope of inheritance

no way back for them is possible
following Christ is all they have

    A hmmm..
In the eyes of some “only”, are the pardonable creation and the unpardonable sinners!
According to what morals they hold in Mind
If I pretend and say what they want to here,
they place in line of their precious Inheritance.
If I hollow out Loud, fro, his cleansing blood,
I’m blessed with Nails, and Blood on my Hands
Yet before I even take up their Nails and Hammer
    to cut of His Life
In a order to FOLLOW AND save mine,
I thought I heard of  A less violent way?
that others MAY say of Him within words written AND RECORED
Go Now and your sins are forgiven, no need of any blood sacrifice.
    East and west,
    and in between,
the hardest to Place are the sAints
Grace from the beginning …to all men
