PRAISING GOD EVERY DAY IS MY INTENTION HERE,
WHETHER SOME OF MY BRETHREN WILL JOIN ME?
I CERTAINLEY WOULD REJOICE IN THAT, AND SO WOULD GOD, I AM SURE OF THAT.
A WISE MAN SAID A LONG TIME AGO, AND I SAID THIS BEFORE, SINGING IS PRAYING TWICED.
I HEARD MY HUSBAND SAY SO MANY TIMES, THAT HE CAN'T SING, BUT WHEN HE OPENS HIS MOUTH
A NICE SOUND COMES OUT.
MAKING A JOYFUL NOICE TO THE LORD OUR GOD AND SAVIOR JESUS CHRIST IS A MUST, IN MY EYES.
IF YOU AGREE COME AND JOIN ME.
IRENEAugust 18, 2008 at 6:17 pm#211457lineonParticipantDon't take this the wrong way!
God seems so far away to-day,
I struggle with my thoughts
They are disjointed and shallow,
Everything is comeing into my head
And creating a special effect. My Lord God, my thoughts are human
Small and frail and fragile,
'This side up'
I am weak, my faith is unseen
Your grace lives outside of me,
My body has become two.Lineon

we''ll look after your book and compass while you rest
the way is very hard on knees, your feet now must need ease
we've been there and we know it's hard to struggle on in pain
so we've been thinking and come up with another easier plan
you'd been misled you need to walk, put your feet up float away
just lie down on this wheeled bed, that's a magic carpet spread
take a sip of this sleeping draught tincture of universalism daft
when you wake up you'll be there, time and energy to spare
but when i looked around the room, a mauseleum full of tombs
full of unaware dead and dying men, anaesthetised, bewitched
i turned away instead and putting faith in what the master said
though it seems hard to hear, let the dead bury their own deadAugust 18, 2008 at 10:45 pm#211459IreneParticipantQuote (Nick Hassan @ Aug. 19 2008,07:34) come on in you simple ones come and rest your weary bones

Nick I like the beginning of this Poem.
I been there and we know it is hard to struggle on in pain. What comes to mind is the ” Footprint in the sand.” I very seldom tell of all my pain, but I do have it every day, and I do struggle with it.
Some days are like Jesus is lifting me up and I have no feet at all, even tho I am walking, in the air. Other days I cry out to God. And He shows me beauty in His creation. How wonderful in all the earth, Lord O Lord is Thy Name, call upon the Lord and He will hear you.
70 years on this planet is it enough, have I learned enough? Or do I have still Pride or ???
Hear me O Lord……………………….

1My son, attend unto my wisdom, and bow thine ear to my understanding:2That thou mayest regard discretion, and that thy lips may keep knowledge.
3For the lips of a strange woman drop as an honeycomb, and her mouth is smoother than oil:
4But her end is bitter as wormwood, sharp as a two-edged sword.
5Her feet go down to death; her steps take hold on hell.
6Lest thou shouldest ponder the path of life, her ways are moveable, that thou canst not know them.
7Hear me now therefore, O ye children, and depart not from the words of my mouth.
8Remove thy way far from her, and come not nigh the door of her house:
9Lest thou give thine honour unto others, and thy years unto the cruel:
10Lest strangers be filled with thy wealth; and thy labours be in the house of a stranger;
11And thou mourn at the last, when thy flesh and thy body are consumed,
12And say, How have I hated instruction, and my heart despised reproof;
13And have not obeyed the voice of my teachers, nor inclined mine ear to them that instructed me!
14I was almost in all evil in the midst of the congregation and assembly.
15Drink waters out of thine own cistern, and running waters out of thine own well.
16Let thy fountains be dispersed abroad, and rivers of waters in the streets.
17Let them be only thine own, and not strangers' with thee.
18Let thy fountain be blessed: and rejoice with the wife of thy youth.
19Let her be as the loving hind and pleasant roe; let her breasts satisfy thee at all times; and be thou ravished always with her love.
20And why wilt thou, my son, be ravished with a strange woman, and embrace the bosom of a stranger?
21For the ways of man are before the eyes of the LORD, and he pondereth all his goings.
22His own iniquities shall take the wicked himself, and he shall be holden with the cords of his sins.
23He shall die without instruction; and in the greatness of his folly he shall go astray.

a prison wall divides us from the god of love we came to know
who drew us close and helped us know our helplessness and destined fate
as sinners who needed spirit, grace, given freely day by day as we just pray,
to be enabled to begin to grasp what our potential is as followers of the dear son,
the holy powerful one, and those he lived in carrying on his demolition of what caused us
to stoop and falter in everything, frustrated hopes and dashed our dreams but now we have
that wondrous peace that goes beyond the daily toil and makes us know that all is well despite

Innerspace –August 19, 2008 at 11:26 pm#211475charityParticipant“Wow…thats beautiful!” Is either a cry or a thought when faced with the mountain sunset, a spectacular view or a well formed man or woman. But where is the beauty, where is the appreciation of beauty, where is the ability to discern beauty? It is within our own consciousness. For the essence of who and what we are is beauty itself. The essence of beauty is not found in the body, a face or a mountain – they only stir the essence of beauty within our own spirit. And that beauty is not only something we taste within ourselves, but it emerges in our character as virtue, and in our life as care. For what is virtue, but love in action. The next time you say, “Thats beautiful!” know that you speak of yourself, and it is you who are beautiful. Always were, always will be.
