For the last year or so I have been having these nagging thoughts about the nature of the Nephilim as mentioned in Genesis. A former Episcopalian, I was certainly never exposed to thoughts of angelic races. This is something that seemed to come from my own imagination. Yet it made so much sense to me.
I looked online, spoke to my pastor, the normal behavior. I stumbled upon bizarre occult sites and theories that supported that the Sons of God were really humans of great repute.
It was like an emotional torture. I so doubted myself and sometimes even my faith as I felt assured of something that was not within the Scriptures.
And yet today I find myself reading the Book of Enoch and weeping because it makes complete sense to me. A believer in Calvinist teachings, I have also found further confirmation of the existance of the elect. I have a vision that this world is one of many dimensions: where man is the least in terms of power and yet the most loved by God.
I want to know more. Please direct me. I would like to understand more of this Book of Enoch and the nature of the Spiritual world that seems to carry on invisible.

Yes Enoch answers a lot of questions for me too. I don't know where to find more. Just let it find it's place in the harmony of the whole of God's revelation-with time it will.March 2, 2005 at 4:22 am#5658nashashParticipantwhat is the history of the book of Enoch, when i read things like son of man in this book and see reference of the book in scriptures, i've yet to read it all but plan too
