What are you doing, stop this nonsense. We all have experienced injustice, I am sure. So lets forget about that. This tread should have never gone on this far. I hope and pray that you have all aired your feelings and get back to being a Christian. Love is the answer.

Nuff said.I do want to thank Cato and WJ for at least reading what I wrote with an open mind and recognizing that I had no alterior racial motives, or will to beat up on DK.
I just feel that biased, unsupported statements deserve to be challenged.Tim

Hey Tim,It's cool. We disagree, that's all. We said some hurtful things to one another, it happens in the heat of discussion.
These boards are designed to bring out the hot topics. The important thing, I guess, is that along with the word-slinging we also remember that we are brother and sister. I do love you, Tim.
You have been a calming voice in many of my storms……. That is how I see you, brother.
I am also sorry for the hardships you had to suffer as a child. Upon hearing that you had to put cardboard in your shoes to cover the holes – tears were in my eyes. I also have suffered some terrible things during my childhood years. But racial injustice is different from those topics and that is all I was trying to show. I guess I did a poor job of it and I apologize to you publically for hurting you in any way.
You're my brother, and I love you. Please accept my heartfelt apology for hurting you and perhaps, ultimately misunderstanding you.
Love,
MandyJune 7, 2008 at 5:43 pm#91760Not3in1ParticipantAlso to brother's Keith and Cato,
If I have offended, which seems impossible not to have offended with this topic, I apologize to you both as well.
Realize that I am also speaking out of some of my life experiences, and therefore may have stepped on some toes. Ouch! Sorry about that. My intention was to bring certain injustice into the light, but it backfired on me. BOOM! So, we dust our feet off and move on from here. I don't hold grudges and I hope you brother's don't either.
Love,

MandyNo grudges here. My prayers still go up for you and DK and GB and Tim and everyone else on this forum that someday we will see all “Believers” everywhere unifying regardless of color or race or doctrinal differences, endevourig to keep the unity of the Spirit.
That is the only thing that is going to make a difference anyway.
Jesus said…
By this shall all men know that ye are my disciples, if ye have love one to another. Jn 13:35
Unfortunately there may be many watching this forum and wondering where his disciples are.
Blessings!
June 7, 2008 at 6:08 pm#91765Not3in1ParticipantHi Keith,
I think we just showed them where the disciples are……..by our love and forgiveness of one another.
I'm running out the door but wanted to say thank you for not holding anything against me. It would be so hard to stand up under such pressure if you did. I think a lot of you, as you know. So, thanks bro.

MandyJune 8, 2008 at 1:09 pm#91842TimothyVIParticipantTo all,
I wish to apologize to any person that I may have offended in the posts that I
made responding to dirtyknetics. It is not now nor will it ever be my intentions to hurt
or in any way degrade any other person.I know it is no excuse for the complete lack of tolerance that I displayed with certain other people on this forum of whom I am truly fond, but I guess that things that have been happening in my life recently appear to have pushed me beyond my normal level of patience.
I buried my dad recently, and my sister just four weeks ago. My brother who was debilitated from a prior stroke fell last week and broke his hip. He is extremely dispondent because he has been told that he is now going to have to spend the remainder of his life in a nursing home. I am heartsick that I am not physically able to care for him in my home.
Then early this week my property was damaged by a tornado on Tuesday, followed by torrential rain and flooding on Wednesday. Then before repairs could be started on damages from that storm we were hit with another severe storm dropping eleven inches of rainfall in a six hour period on Friday. Everything was flooded. We have been stranded without drinking water and lights for two days and can not get out of our home because the roads in both directions from our driveway are completely washed out. They will actually have to be rebuilt before we can even get out of our property, heaven knows how long that will take because of all of the other damage that needs taken care of in the surrounding counties. I am also concerned that another sever storm is predicted for Monday and Tuesday of next week. I pray that it passes us over.
Praise God for the good things.
We have enough food stored that we will not starve, and we are boiling rain water to drink. I have a generator, so as long as my fuel holds out we will have power. Although the flooding breached the dam of my little lake it did not completely destroy it yet. So we are washing and bathing in the lake. It is a little muddy, but it is better than feeling stinking dirty. So believe me, I am not complaining about the bad, because God has provided us with enough good to keep us.At any rate I should have known better than to get involved in a heated debate when I knew my fuse was already short. I should have known I may say some things better left unsaid. Even people who should know better can be impetuous. Age does not guarantee wisdom.
So please forgive me, anyone who I offended, and accept my sincerest apology.
Like I said, please do not view this as an excuse, but rather an explanation.
I will be gone from this forum for now.
If I return I may change my name to Job, and keep my mouth shut.May God bless all of you abundantly.

Hi Tim,We are allowed to have excuses every now and then. I think that what you have been through lately would be enough to send anyone on a rampage.
A couple winter's ago we endured 8 days with no power (or water, because we are on a well). We were also blocked from leaving our peninsula because of the huge trees that were down everywhere. You had to pack a chainsaw with you if you wanted to attempt leaving. My husband and a few other men cut through many logs to clear the one road that leads in and out of our neighborhood. This all happened during Christmastime and right before we were to leave for Alaska to spend the holiday with my sister. I couldn't do laundry to prepare for the trip – nothing. Oh, I'll never forget that experience.
Anyway, back to you.
You are dearly loved, Tim. Your voice is important to heavennet. It is important to me. I'm deeply sorry for my part in this whole shamble. You have given your apologies. Let's just move on from here. Forgiveness is a great thing among brother's and sister's. I don't hold on to things and so for me, now that we have reconciled so to speak, it's like it never happend. Really. I hope you feel the same way and will consider staying and contributing. It would be our loss if you decided to leave.
I hope your situation improves quickly and services will be available to you again. If I had a chopper…..I'd be in your yard within a few hours and bring you to my house! Hot showers are not overrated! Hang in there, bro.
Also, I know what it is like to bury family. I've buried both of my parents and a sibling. My brother is not very far behind. He will probably not live the year out. So I am no stranger to grief and how that affects your soul. My prayers for comfort will be going up all day today for you and your wife.
See, I'm truly your sister and I care about you. I don't say this lightly. If you were nearby and in need – goodness – there's nothing I wouldn't do for you if I could.
Stay warm and stay here…….please.
Love,
MandyJune 8, 2008 at 7:00 pm#91864Not3in1ParticipantTim,
I just read about the storms that have hit your region. My goodness! Hope you know how to swim, bro?
Well again, my prayers are with you and your neighbor's. This is a rough thing to have to go through. I hope you all stay well.
Is there anything I could do for you? I could mail you supplies or?? Of course the mail carrier would need to be able to get to you? I could overnight something? You let me know, OK?
Much love and prayers,
MandyJune 8, 2008 at 7:00 pm#91865Not3in1ParticipantAlso, the page bumped. See my previous post on page 5.
