Judaism is still waiting for their messiah,
Christendom is still waiting for his return.
But both events have already happened!

Jesus has already come in the Spirit as both he and Yawheh have been in believers and believers have been in both him and Yawheh during and since that Pentecost; but the believers, both those quickened from the dead and those living changed from mortality to to immortality, have not yet meant him in the air.  The later will occur at the beginning of the Messianic Age during which Satan is bound.

Just as Philip was snatched away in Acts 8.39 the Son of Man will be not limited by plane or bus timetables.

The new bodies will not be be limited by earthly laws.
