Jesus is here – in Spirit form.
Hi Shimmer,That is what I have been telling you all along (see John 14:23, Isaiah 64:4-5). Be it known to you that…
You say 'yes and no' to this verses…
“Every spirit that confesseth not that Jesus Christ is come in the flesh
is not of God: and this is that spirit of antichrist” ( John 4:3)And you say a flat out 'no' to this verse..
Wherefore henceforth know we no man after the flesh: yea,
though we have known Christ after the flesh, yet now
henceforth know we him no more. (2 Cor 5:16)God bless

ParticipantEd, just as water was used to destroy the old Earth (You do believe in the Flood don't you?) this time the sun will be used to destroy the Earth. And just as Noah was saved in the Ark, so too will there be some who will be saved from the fire.
This is all in 2nd Peter (Apart from the sun bit).
Quote again:
They deliberately ignore this fact, that by the word of God heavens existed long ago, and an earth formed out of water and by means of water, through which the world that then existed was deluged with water and perished. But by the same word the heavens and earth that now exist have been stored up for fire, being kept until the day of judgment and destruction of ungodly men.
Has this happened yet? Is evil still here? Yes it is. So how do you then say that the Day of the Lord has come. (If that's what you say).

ParticipantHi Shimmer.
1 Cor 15:46 Howbeit that was not first which is spiritual, but
that which is natural; and afterward that which is spiritual.First: Man being evil, was physically destroyed in the flood.
Second: Man's mind being evil, the rudiments get burned up.God bless

“The Day of the LORD” and “Pentecost” (Jesus' return)
were and still are two separate feasts, not the same.God bless

That is the good news of the “Gospel”; Jesus was a lamb without spot (dying for OUR sins).
Lev 23:5…12 In the fourteenth day of the first month at even is the LORD's passover.
12: an he lamb without blemish of the first year for a burnt offering unto the LORD.Lev 17:11 For the life of the flesh is in the blood: and I have given it to you upon the [†] altar
to make an atonement for your souls: for it is the blood that maketh an atonement for the soul.Jesus is the Lamb of God
“John seeth Jesus coming unto him, and saith, Behold the Lamb of God,
which taketh away the sin of the world.” (John 1:29) 1 John 2:2 And he is the
propitiation for our sins: and not for ours only, but also for the sins of the whole world.God bless

ParticipantQuote (abe @ Feb. 16 2012,07:32) Hi Abe, welcome to H-net! Comparing “Yəsh-yü-ă” to “YÄ-shü-ă”
The Hebrew word [ישוע] Yəsh-yü-ă merely means ‘He will save’.
Distancing [יה]’s salvation from the man Jesus is a rejection of
YÄ-shü-ă as Messiah. This subtle distinction of [ישוע] Yəsh-yü-ă
purposely substituted for [יהשוע] YÄ-shü-ă usually goes unnoticed
when heard by a non Hebrew-speaking person; nevertheless, this
wholly implies a specific denial of Jesus as their Lord and Savior.Jesus’ authentic name [יהשוע] YÄ-shü-ă has a direct connection to GOD’s name [יה] in that YÄ
is the first part of Jesus’ Hebrew name. GOD’s name is not vocalized in the English translation
of the name Jesus and therefore misses the precise exactness and direct authentic connection
to God’s Hebrew name [יה] YÄ. Jesus’ Name in Hebrew means: (“YÄ is salvation” [יה]+[ישע]=[יהשוע])
or the salvation of “GOD the Father”. Therefore [יהשוע] “Jesus” name authentically establishes [יהוה] “JEHOVAH” as the Highest Name.
