Hi T,
The death of Jesus did not magically absolve all sin.
But it does allow men to come to God through and in JesusJune 25, 2010 at 3:56 am#199776terrariccaParticipantQuote (Nick Hassan @ June 25 2010,13:12) Hi T,

nickyou say; in Jesus
this i do not understand in my understanding because it make not sence ,how could you be in someone or someone in you.
this is only possible if you are thinking and doing the samethings for the same reasons.
and that s how i understand it.

You are baptised into Christ[gal3.27]
The Spirit of Christ is born into you[gal 4.19]
You must be born again of water and the Spirit.[Jn3]Christ is in God and God is in him.[jn14.10]
We are invited to join that unity.[jn17.21]June 25, 2010 at 6:12 am#199807terrariccaParticipantQuote (Nick Hassan @ June 25 2010,15:09) Hi T,

nickif you are baptize in the name of Christ,it is to do Gods will, this is what Jesus was preaching.
if the will you have to do gods will equals the will of Christ as he was doing his father s will ,you have then the same spirit or will.
a person is born again wen he or she commit himself to do Gods will and no longer the will of men of this world including himself.
the baptism was for the Jews and so became a corner stone on witch they fall.
i have not seen a person who is called by God to baptize ,
so it as become a religious ritual more to secure proselytes than make disciples to the God in heaven.

Yes your view is very popular these days with the teachings of scripture discarded by men.
But the gospel is not to divide men from each other but to unite them.
The way is the same in every generation and for all.June 25, 2010 at 4:16 pm#199870terrariccaParticipantQuote (Nick Hassan @ June 25 2010,17:34) Hi T,

nickyou did not answer any of those questions because you can not .
and so you stand with what you do not understand,or do not want to see .
Paul says that it is not the circumcision in the flesh that makes you a Jew but the circumcision of the heart, that is what God always wanted even from the Israelites.

Hi Nick,Where is 'your' Scriptural backing of 'your' assertion? (Isaiah 5:18-21) (Click Here)
Isaiah 5:18-21 Woe unto them that draw iniquity with cords of vanity, and sin as it were with a cart rope:
That say, Let him make speed, and hasten his work, that we may see it: and let
the counsel of the Holy One of Israel draw nigh and come, that we may know it!
Woe unto them that call evil good, and good evil; that put darkness for light,
and light for darkness; that put bitter for sweet, and sweet for bitter (Eccl.4:16)!
Woe unto them that are wise in their own eyes, and prudent in their own sight!Ed J (Daniel 11:18 / Eccl.9:12-16)

But you are not an arbiter of truth.
Neither should you take rejection of some of what you offer personally.
Using a scriptural bludgeon against those who disagree and could assist you is not helpful for you or anyone.July 6, 2010 at 3:09 am#201904NickHassanParticipantHi ED,

Hi Nick,Your doing like Terraricca, offering opinions as opposition?
Where is your Scriptural backing of your assertions?
Post them so we can reason together. (Is.1:18)
We can be helpful to others readers that way.Heb.4:12 For “The Word” of God is quick, and powerful,
and sharper than any twoedged sword, piercing even to
the dividing asunder of soul and spirit, and of the joints and
marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart.God bless

We are not meant to use scripture to justify our beliefs but rather let scripture teach.
One verse justifications are the basis of most of the denominations.
Christ is not divided and scripture deserves respect. It is truth and it can be proven by repetition.[2cor13.1]

Hi Nick,Did not the Apostle Paul quote Scripture is his letters to the Churches?
The points I make “are” repeated over and over in the Scriptures.
I don't base anything on one verse alone, nor should anyone.God bless
