I am giving you the true teaching that the whore has not corrupted. The bible says come out of her and yet you remain.

    Hi BD,
The whore has not changed the Words of God which are eternal and the Spirit reveals them to His chidren.

Your teachings are from carnal men and of no comparable value.

You do not go from the frying pan into the fire.

    Hi thethinker:

The following quote from the book of Galatians:

    Quote
21Tell me, ye that desire to be under the law, do ye not hear the law?

22For it is written, that Abraham had two sons, the one by a bondmaid, the other by a freewoman.

23But he who was of the bondwoman was born after the flesh; but he of the freewoman was by promise.

24Which things are an allegory: for these are the two covenants; the one from the mount Sinai, which gendereth to bondage, which is Agar.

25For this Agar is mount Sinai in Arabia, and answereth to Jerusalem which now is, and is in bondage with her children.

26But Jerusalem which is above is free, which is the mother of us all.

27For it is written, Rejoice, thou barren that bearest not; break forth and cry, thou that travailest not: for the desolate hath many more children than she which hath an husband.

28Now we, brethren, as Isaac was, are the children of promise.

29But as then he that was born after the flesh persecuted him that was born after the Spirit, even so it is now.

30Nevertheless what saith the scripture? Cast out the bondwoman and her son: for the son of the bondwoman shall not be heir with the son of the freewoman.

31So then, brethren, we are not children of the bondwoman, but of the free.

    Love in Christ,
    Marty

    Marty,
What's your point. Paul said that Isaac represented those who are born according to the Spirit and are heirs. Ishmael represented those who are born according to the flesh.

My point is that God did not reject Ishmael. God is not willing that any man should perish. The gospel is to be preached to every creature including all Arabs.

All Muslims believe that Jesus Christ came in the flesh so they can't be anti-christ.

Genesis 21:12-14 (New King James Version)
12 But God said to Abraham, “Do not let it be displeasing in your sight because of the lad or because of your bondwoman. Whatever Sarah has said to you, listen to her voice; for in Isaac your seed shall be called. 13 Yet I will also make a nation of the son of the bondwoman, because he is your seed.”

    then it says:

    Genesis 21:19-21 (King James Version)

19 And God opened her eyes, and she saw a well of water; and she went, and filled the bottle with water, and gave the lad drink.

20 And God was with the lad; and he grew, and dwelt in the wilderness, and became an archer.

When the scripture says that God was with someone it means He was their God.

    Matthew 21:42-44 (King James Version)

42Jesus saith unto them, Did ye never read in the scriptures, The stone which the builders rejected, the same is become the head of the corner: this is the Lord's doing, and it is marvellous in our eyes?

43Therefore say I unto you, The kingdom of God shall be taken from you, and given to a nation bringing forth the fruits thereof.

    There are only two covenants:

    Quote
Rom 4:16 Therefore [it is] of faith, that [it might be] by grace; to the end the promise might be sure to all the seed; not to that only which is of the law, but to that also which is of the faith of Abraham; who is the father of us all,

    From the book of Jeremiah:

    Quote
31 “Behold, the days are coming, says the LORD, when I will make a new covenant with the house of Israel and with the house of Judah— 32 not according to the covenant that I made with their fathers in the day that I took them by the hand to lead them out of the land of Egypt, My covenant which they broke, though I was a husband to them,[a] says the LORD. 33 But this is the covenant that I will make with the house of Israel after those days, says the LORD: I will put My law in their minds, and write it on their hearts; and I will be their God, and they shall be My people. 34 No more shall every man teach his neighbor, and every man his brother, saying, ‘Know the LORD,’ for they all shall know Me, from the least of them to the greatest of them, says the LORD. For I will forgive their iniquity, and their sin I will remember no more.”

I did not infer that Arabs cannnot be saved. I said that Ishmael was not an heir and that he represented those who are born according to the flesh. Therefore, unbelievers would be in Ishmael no matter what their physical descent. Believers would be in Isaac no matter their race. Ishmael himself was not a child of the covenant.

    Hi BD:

The following scriptures may help your understanding:

    Quote
Rom 9:6 ¶ Not as though the word of God hath taken none effect. For they [are] not all Israel, which are of Israel:

Rom 9:7   Neither, because they are the seed of Abraham, [are they] all children: but, In Isaac shall thy seed be called.

Rom 9:8   That is, They which are the children of the flesh, these [are] not the children of God: but the children of the promise are counted for the seed.

Rom 9:9   For this [is] the word of promise, At this time will I come, and Sara shall have a son.

    Quote
Gal 3:16 Now to Abraham and his seed were the promises made. He saith not, And to seeds, as of many; but as of one, And to thy seed, which is Christ.
Gal 3:29 And if ye [be] Christ's, then are ye Abraham's seed, and heirs according to the promise.
Hbr 2:16 For verily he took not on [him the nature of] angels; but he took on [him] the seed of Abraham.

    And relative to Anti-Christ:

    Quote
1Jo 2:22 Who is a liar but he that denieth that Jesus is the Christ? He is antichrist, that denieth the Father and the Son.

    Love in Christ,
    Marty

When the scripture says that God was with someone it means He was their God.

and Jesus made it clear what happens in apostasy:

    Matthew 21:42-44 (King James Version)

42Jesus saith unto them, Did ye never read in the scriptures, The stone which the builders rejected, the same is become the head of the corner: this is the Lord's doing, and it is marvellous in our eyes?

43Therefore say I unto you, The kingdom of God shall be taken from you, and given to a nation bringing forth the fruits thereof.

44And whosoever shall fall on this stone shall be broken: but on whomsoever it shall fall, it will grind him to powder.

Now the stone has fallen and it has broken Christianity up into 39,000 sects/denominations

    Hi BD:

Muslims do not believe that Jesus is the “Only Begotten Son of God”, and so, the scripture that states: “he does not believe the Father and the Son is Anti-Christ”,  fits.

Yes, Christianity is divided now, but God will bring us into unity through the 144,000 in this last day.

This is the fruit that the nation to whom Jesus will give the kingdom:

    Quote
22But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, 23gentleness and self-control. Against such things there is no law. 24Those who belong to Christ Jesus have crucified the sinful nature with its passions and desires. 25Since we live by the Spirit, let us keep in step with the Spirit. 26Let us not become conceited, provoking and envying each other.

    Quote
4Abide in me, and I in you. As the branch cannot bear fruit of itself, except it abide in the vine; no more can ye, except ye abide in me.

5I am the vine, ye are the branches: He that abideth in me, and I in him, the same bringeth forth much fruit: for without me ye can do nothing.

6If a man abide not in me, he is cast forth as a branch, and is withered; and men gather them, and cast them into the fire, and they are burned.

7If ye abide in me, and my words abide in you, ye shall ask what ye will, and it shall be done unto you.

8Herein is my Father glorified, that ye bear much fruit; so shall ye be my disciples.

9As the Father hath loved me, so have I loved you: continue ye in my love.

10If ye keep my commandments, ye shall abide in my love; even as I have kept my Father's commandments, and abide in his love.

    Love in Christ,

Marty you don't have to twist the scriptures:

    1 John 5
1Every one who is believing that Jesus is the Christ, of God he hath been begotten, and every one who is loving Him who did beget, doth love also him who is begotten of Him:

Do you understand what this means?

    Hi BD:

I have not twisted the scriptures, and of course, I know what believing that Jesus is the Christ the Son of the Living God means.  I know that I added “the Son of the Living God” to the scripture that you quoted because that is what God has revealed to humanity through the Apostle Peter.

    Quote
13 When Jesus came into the region of Caesarea Philippi, He asked His disciples, saying, “Who do men say that I, the Son of Man, am?”
14 So they said, “Some say John the Baptist, some Elijah, and others Jeremiah or one of the prophets.”
15 He said to them, “But who do you say that I am?”
16 Simon Peter answered and said, “You are the Christ, the Son of the living God.”
17 Jesus answered and said to him, “Blessed are you, Simon Bar-Jonah, for flesh and blood has not revealed this to you, but My Father who is in heaven.

Muslims do not believe that Jesus is the Only Begotten Son of the Living God.  You accuse me of twisting the scriptures, but you want to pick and choose what scripture
s you want to quote and believe out of the bible and want to justify this by saying that the scriptures have been corrupted, and while it is true that there are some scriptures that have been altered or even mistranslated, the truth of that Jesus is the Christ the Son of the Living God is plainly shown by the scriptures that are line upon line and precept upon precept beginning from Genesis to Revelation, and the Spirit of God dwelling within me also testifies of this reality.

    Quote
    1 John 5
1 Whoever believes that Jesus is the Christ is born of God, and everyone who loves Him who begot also loves him who is begotten of Him. 2 By this we know that we love the children of God, when we love God and keep His commandments. 3 For this is the love of God, that we keep His commandments. And His commandments are not burdensome. 4 For whatever is born of God overcomes the world. And this is the victory that has overcome the world—our[a] faith. 5 Who is he who overcomes the world, but he who believes that Jesus is the Son of God?
9 If we receive the witness of men, the witness of God is greater; for this is the witness of God which[c] He has testified of His Son. 10 He who believes in the Son of God has the witness in himself; he who does not believe God has made Him a liar, because he has not believed the testimony that God has given of His Son. 11 And this is the testimony: that God has given us eternal life, and this life is in His Son. 12 He who has the Son has life; he who does not have the Son of God does not have life. 13 These things I have written to you who believe in the name of the Son of God, that you may know that you have eternal life,[d] and that you may continue to believe in the name of the Son of God.

It is allegorical for the chosen in Isaac. Abraham asked God to make Ishmael the heir and God replied saying “NO.” (Gen. 17:19,20)

Ishmael represented those who are born according to the flesh.

    thinker

    Hi thethinker:

My point is that God did not reject Ishmael.  God is not willing that any man should perish.  The gospel is to be preached to every creature including all Arabs.

    Love in Christ,
    Marty

Ishmael was born before there was a term such as Jew or Christian, He was taught the Religion of Abraham The Faithful and Righteous. God was with him and therefor his God.

God blessed him greatly and today his descendents have a pure unadulterated religion of PURE MONOTHEISM just like ABRAHAM.

    Hi BD:

    Love in Christ,
    Marty

You quoted Jerimiah and I agree with it but it doesn't say anything about Jesus. In-fact according to that quote the Covenant with Isaac that thinker keeps speaking about is the covenant God is speaking of ending in that verse.

Keep in mind it is regarding the House of Israel.

    Marty,
I did not infer that Arabs cannnot be saved. I said that Ishmael was not an heir and that he represented those who are born according to the flesh. Therefore, unbelievers would be in Ishmael no matter what their physical descent. Believers would be in Isaac no matter their race. Ishmael himself was not a child of the covenant.

Only those who endure until the end shall be saved.

Why do you think God says:

    Isaiah 42:18-20 (King James Version)

19 Who is blind, but my servant? or deaf, as my messenger that I sent? who is blind as he that is perfect, and blind as the LORD's servant?

18 Ye deaf, hear; and ye blind, look to see.

19 Who [is] blind but My servant? And deaf as My messenger I send? Who [is] blind as he who is at peace, Yea, blind, as the servant of Jehovah?

    Love in Christ,

First of all I do believe that you have the spirit of God and the Spirit will teach you and guide you. I'm sure you didn't know all you know immediately, did you?

So the Spirit works with you, it doesn't force you to believe anything. Our belief wasn't much different at all but The Spirit of God taught me and guided me study the Quran and reading it all I understood.

Now we all know that God did not sire Jesus, So if he is called “Son” it is in honour not in fact for God does not procreate like a man. The Quran clarifies this point because many misunderstood that point and began worshiping Mary as a God, Afterall if you are the Mother of God you must be God as well or intimate with God as many believed but the Quran explains Jesus was created with a Word.

I hope and pray that God's Spirit continue to guide you and we continue this dialogue.

    (19) And they say: “((Allah)) Most Gracious has begotten offspring.” Glory to Him! they are (but) servants raised to honour.
    ( سورة الأنبياء , Al-Anbiya, Chapter #21, Verse #26)

    4) No son did Allah beget, nor is there any god along with Him: (if there were many gods), behold, each god would have taken away what he had created, and some would have lorded it over others! Glory to Allah. (He is free) from the (sort of) things they attribute to Him!
    ( سورة المؤمنون , Al-Mumenoon, Chapter #23, Verse #91)

    (2) Those apostles We endowed with gifts, some above others: To one of them Allah spoke; others He raised to degrees (of honour); to Jesus the son of Mary We gave clear (Signs), and strengthened him with the holy spirit. If Allah had so willed, succeeding generations would not have fought among each other, after clear (Signs) had come to them, but they (chose) to wrangle, some believing and others rejecting. If Allah had so willed, they would not have fought each other; but Allah Fulfilleth His plan.
    ( سورة البقرة , Al-Baqara, Chapter #2, Verse #253)

As I said before 39,000 denominations but the Quran says this years before Christianity was in the current state.

    (2) From those, too, who call themselves Christians, We did take a covenant, but they forgot a good part of the message that was sent them: so we estranged them, with enmity and hatred between the one and the other, to the day of judgment. And soon will Allah show them what it is they have done.
    ( سورة المائدة , Al-Maeda, Chapter #5, Verse #14)

These are words of truth, but most don't know.

God bless you and if God is willing may you be guided to know

My point is that God did not reject Ishmael.  God is not willing that any man should perish.  The gospel is to be preached to every creature including all Arabs.

    Marty,
I did not infer that Arabs cannnot be saved.

    Love in Christ,
    Marty

When the scripture says that God was with someone it means He was their God.

and Jesus made it clear what happens in apostasy:

    Love in Christ,
    Marty

    16 Simon Peter answered
and said, “You are the Christ, the Son of the living God.”
17 Jesus answered and said to him, “Blessed are you, Simon Bar-Jonah, for flesh and blood has not revealed this to you, but My Father who is in heaven.

Muslims do not believe that Jesus is the Only Begotten Son of the Living God.  You accuse me of twisting the scriptures, but you want to pick and choose what scriptures you want to quote and believe out of the bible and want to justify this by saying that the scriptures have been corrupted, and while it is true that there are some scriptures that have been altered or even mistranslated, the truth of that Jesus is the Christ the Son of the Living God is plainly shown by the scriptures that are line upon line and precept upon precept beginning from Genesis to Revelation, and the Spirit of God dwelling within me also testifies of this reality.

    Quote

    Hi BD:

I have studied the scriptures for 29 years preparing for the office of a Bishop and if I am understanding God correctly, he will shorly install me in this position.  There are many doctrines and practices in the church which need to be corrected, and God will use me in this process.

I have studied the Quran, and undoubtedly, Muhammad knew just like I and you know that God does not have a mother or a father.  He is eternal.  But no, the Quran is not correct in saying that Jesus does not have a Father.  God is his Father, but it is not some sexual act, but an act of Love by God for humanity.  He (Jesus) is the “Only begotten Son of God”.  Jesus is not born of the sperm of man.  Call it a miracle if you wish, but certainly, there is nothing to difficult for God.

Also, the Quran is not correct in saying that Jesus was not crucified and that he did not die.  No, no, no, if there is not blood shed for our sins, and if Jesus was not raised again from the dead, there is no resurrection from the dead.  It is true that no man born of the sperm of man can die for another man.  All men born of the sperm of man have sinned, and that includes Muhammad.  Jesus did not sin. He is not just any ordinary man. He is God's gift of love to humanity.

And no, God does not force himself on anyone, and I have given you the truth, and so, now you can either choose to believe or not.  It is your choice.

If you not believe that Jesus is the Son of God and that God has raised him from the dead, and that the blood that he shed is the propitiation for your sins, then it is impossible for you to have the Holy Spirit dwelling within.  God will not dwell in an unclean temple, and the only way for our sins to be washed away is by the precious blood of the lamb of God.

You are free to preach what you want, but this is what the bible states:

    Quote
    14.Galatians 1:8 (Whole Chapter)
But though we, or an angel from heaven, preach any other gospel unto you than that which we have preached unto you, let him be accursed.

    15.Galatians 1:9 (Whole Chapter)
As we said before, so say I now again, if any man preach any other gospel unto you than that ye have received, let him be accursed.

    Love in Christ,
    Marty
