Hi ED,
Certainly the Word is of the Holy Spirit but the Spirit of the Father also manifests in that Spirit.
If we maintain our faithfulness to the scriptures we will fellowship with the Father and the son.[2jn.
Hi Nick,
The Spirit of “God the Father” is the HolySpirit. (see Heb 12:9)

We too are born-again by “The Word” (see 1Peter 1:23)

Yes the Father and the Son are in the ONE Spirit.
We will come to you.
Likewise those in the Son are joined with both in the ONE SPIRIT
September 14, 2014 at 1:27 pm#766414Ed JParticipantHi Nick,
Yes by us being “Born Again” with God’s HolySpirit we become one with God as Jesus is one with God.

Yessir.
The gifts of God are without repentance.
But we must build on the foundation laid adding grace to grace.

Hi Pierre,
“For the law maketh men high priests which have infirmity;
but “The word” of the oath, which was since the law,
maketh the Son, who is consecrated for evermore. (Heb 7:28)“Furthermore we have had fathers of our flesh which corrected us, and we gave them reverence:
shall we not much rather be in subjection unto THE FATHER OF SPIRITS, and live?” (Heb 12:9)Did God’s HolySpirit not give birth to the spirit of Christ as well as our spirits?

The Apostles hands have handled of “the Word” of God.
John’s (1,2,3 John, Rev, John),
Peter’s (1Peter, 2Peter),
Paul’s(Hebrews),
James'(James)ect…
September 15, 2014 at 3:35 pm#768389Ed JParticipantHi Nick,
The point of this is to show just how far people will go to support the systems of Religion’s LIES!
To say that the Apostles were happy to be physically touching and handling Jesus’ resurrected body
is to completely miss the point. The point is: that the Apostles took part in writing our “Holy Bible”.
That is what John is referring to (ref. 1John 1:1) when he says: “our hands have handled of the Word of life.”___________

The words of scripture are spirit and life.
But scripture was not written for those who had seen and touched the Christ but for those had not seen and yet believed.
September 15, 2014 at 4:01 pm#768402NickHassanParticipantHi ED,
Jesus was the Christ, the Word of God from the Jordan, not from his resurrection.

Seen and touched the bible??
They learned from the living Word.

Hi ED,
The words of scripture are spirit and life.
Hi Nick,
So is that a “Yes” then?

Hi Nick,
What I said was clear and precise, for you to regurgitate this back to me
shows just how far you will go to support the systems of Religion’s LIES.September 15, 2014 at 4:52 pm#768438NickHassanParticipantHi ED,
Do you really think the apostles drooled over their own letters?
The listened to the Word
September 15, 2014 at 4:53 pm#768439NickHassanParticipantHi ED,
Do your opinions define truth and we had all better believe you?
Do others only spout religion’s lies?
September 15, 2014 at 5:03 pm#768451NickHassanParticipantHi ED,
Can you not accept that the disciples listened to the Word that was with God and was God?
September 15, 2014 at 5:05 pm#768453Ed JParticipantHi ED,

Hi Nick,
No, John was speaking Prophetically.
