This is a e-mail one of my friends send me. This man must not get into office.
Celeste and Loren Davis are Missionaries in Africa and can shed some
light on one of our Presidential candidates. Thanks for sending out an alert about Obama. We are living and working in Kenya for almost twelve years now and know his family (tribe) well. They are the ones who were behind the recent Presidential election chaos here.
Thousands of people have been displaced by election violence(over 350,000) and I don't know the last count of the dead. Obama under “friends of Obama” gave almost a million dollars to the opposition campaign who just happened to be his cousin, Raila Odinga, who is a socialist trained in east Germany. He has been trying to bring Kenya down for years and the last president threw him in prison for trying to subvert this country! December 27th elections brought cries from ODM (Odinga Camp) of rigged election. Obama and Raila speak daily. As we watch Obama rise in the US we are sure that whatever happens, he will use the same tactic, crying rigged election if he doesn't win and possibly cause a race war in America.
What we would like you to know is what the American press has been keeping a dirty little secret. Obama IS a Muslim and he IS a racist and this is a fulfillment of the 911 threat that was just the beginning. Jihad is the only true Muslim way. We have been working with them for 20 years this July! He is not an American as we know it. Please encourage your friends and associates not to be taken in by those that are promoting him. It is world wide jihad. All our friends in Europe are very disturbed by the Muslim infiltration into their countries. By the way,his true name is Barak Hussein Muhammed Obama. Won't that sound sweet to our enemies as they swear him in on the Koran!
God Bless you.Pray for us here in Kenya. We are still fighting for our nation to withstand the same kind of assault that every nation, including America, is fighting. Takeover from the outside to fit the new world order. As believers, this means we will be the first targets. Here in Kenya, not one mosque was burned down, but hundreds of churches were burned down, some with people in them, burned alive.
Jesus Christ is our peace but the new world order of Globalism has infiltrated the church and confused believers into thinking that they can compromise and survive. It won't be so. I will send you a newsletter we sent out in February documenting in a more cohesive manner what I've tried to say in a few paragraphs.
Peace and Love Mrs.
May 28, 2008 at 12:15 am#89833ProclaimerParticipantFor what it is worth, I found this excerpt from Wikipedia.
In The Audacity of Hope, Obama writes that he “was not raised in a religious household.” He describes his mother, raised by non-religious parents, as detached from religion, yet “in many ways the most spiritually awakened person that I have ever known.” He describes his Kenyan father as “raised a Muslim,” but a “confirmed atheist” by the time his parents met, and his Indonesian stepfather as “a man who saw religion as not particularly useful.” In the book, Obama explains how, through working with black churches as a community organizer while in his twenties, he came to understand “the power of the African-American religious tradition to spur social change.”[146] He has been a member of Chicago's Trinity United Church of Christ since 1992.

I have watched Him several times on T.V. and He has been caught in a lie and gets away with it. I guess it is everybody responsibility who they are going to vote for in October. My Husband does not vote at all, and thinks God will put in office who He wants. That is true, but what is our responsibility as a Citizen of this Country?
Peace and Love Mrs.May 28, 2008 at 1:48 am#89843davidParticipantQuote and thinks God will put in office who He wants. I'm not sure about that. I've been looking at Revelation.
“and they go forth to the KINGS of the entire inhabited earth, to gather them together to the war of the great day of God the Almighty.”
(compare Ps 2:2)“And the kings of the earth and the top-ranking ones and the military commanders and the rich and the strong ones and every slave and [every] free person hid themselves in the caves and in the rock-masses of the mountains. 16 And they keep saying to the mountains and to the rock-masses: “Fall over us and hide us from the face of the One seated on the throne and from the wrath of the Lamb, 17 because the great day of their wrath has come, and who is able to stand?””
12 “And the ten horns that you saw mean ten kings, who have not yet received a kingdom, but they do receive authority as kings one hour with the wild beast. 13 These have one thought, and so they give their power and authority to the wild beast. 14 These will battle with the Lamb, but, because he is Lord of lords and King of kings, the Lamb will conquer them. Also, those called and chosen and faithful with him [will do so].”
“The waters that you saw, where the harlot is sitting, mean peoples and crowds and nations and tongues. 16 And the ten horns that you saw, and the wild beast, these will hate the harlot and will make her devastated and naked, and will eat up her fleshy parts and will completely burn her with fire. 17 For God put [it] into their hearts to carry out his thought, even to carry out [their] one thought by giving their kingdom to the wild beast, until the words of God will have been accomplished. 18 And the woman whom you saw means the great city that has a kingdom over the KINGS of the earth.”“Come here, be gathered together to the great evening meal of God, 18 that YOU may eat the fleshy parts of KINGS and the fleshy parts of military commanders and the fleshy parts of strong men and the fleshy parts of horses and of those seated upon them, and the fleshy parts of all, of freemen as well as of slaves and of small ones and great.”
19 And I saw the wild beast and the KINGS of the earth and their armies gathered together to wage the war with the one seated on the horse and with his army.****
The Bible doesn't paint a pretty picture for the kings of the earth. It actually says all the kingdoms of the earth will be crushed out of existence by God's kingdom (dan 2:44)
Since Satan is the “ruler of this world” who is “misleading the entire inhabited earth” and who has the “whole world” lying in his power, it seems if anyone is controlling the kings of the earth, it is him, not God.
Remember when Satan offered Jesus “all the kingdoms of the world and their glory” if he did an act of worship to him?
How could Satan have offered that as a “temptation” if it wasn't his to give?
Certainly, it is he who has control of the world's political system of things, which God will soon do away.Quote That is true, but what is our responsibility as a Citizen of this Country?
The reason Jesus followers are to be “no part of the world” is because Satan has control over this world, through it's political system, entertainment world, the very spirit of the air, is Satan's. Hence, we are separate ourselves and be “no part of the world” as Jesus said. Our hope rests in God's government, his Kingdom, not mans. What God has determined to crush, we must not put our hope in. I don't know who or what to believe regarding Obama. I live in New Zealand and know very little about the characters of American politicians. It is certainly possible what you say. I keep an open mind.
If he becomes the next president it will certainly be interesting to see how that goes.
May 28, 2008 at 6:34 am#89856ProclaimerParticipantIn New Zealand we don't have a president but a prime minister. Our prime minister is Helen Clarke and she has been in for 3 terms, which I think might be a record for our country.
Hilary Clinton said this about our Prime Minister.
“Helen Clark, former prime minister of New Zealand: her opponents have observed that in the event of a nuclear war, the two things that will emerge from the rubble are the cockroaches and Helen Clark.”
Hilary got the former part wrong as Helen is still the prime minster, but the joke certainly worked well with the opposition.
Mrs Clinton once said her parents named her after Sir Edmund Hillary, a Kiwi who was the first man to climb Mt Everest. Then it was pointed out to her that she was born more than five years before he climbed Mt Everest.

t8 I am so glad that we have God on our side, but it did scare me at first when I read that. We have Family that are unfortunately out in the world and believe Little of the truth. Our Daughter is about the only one that cares somewhat about what Her Dad or I have said to Her. Our 3 Sons forget it. One Son goes to a Baptist Church and believes in the trinity. So for me since I am so sensitive, it gets rather hard at times. Then I need to pray and get my strength back. There is certainly something about putting on the whole Armor of God.
Thank you for your understanding.

Peace and LOve Mrs.May 29, 2008 at 10:53 am#89973CatoParticipantRight now Obama is a favorite to win the American presidency. He is relative unknown in national politics having served only two years in the US Senate with a leftist almost socialist voting record. He is taking advantage of the Bush unpopularity, a motivational speaker style campaign, and a desire by many for something different. His support comes from the young, wealthy whites of a liberal political bent and an almost total (over 90 percent) support of the black community. Despite being multiracial he identifies himself as black and attended for over 20 years a church espousing a black liberation theology. Personally I think he suffers from a common psychological trait of trying to make up for the African father who left his mother when he was 2 as he was raised by a white mother and grandparents yet strongly identifies himself as African American. He is an intelligent, eloquent politician yet has a short record and little in accomplishment to warrent the presidency, in that his sudden elevation to the national stage and the screaming multitudes responding to his generic platitudes of change and hope are indeed scary.
May 29, 2008 at 12:18 pm#89975seekingtruthParticipantI praise God that I do not have my hope in this life, I fear that we in the US are being offered bad and worse.

Unfortunately I agreeWm
May 29, 2008 at 4:44 pm#90002seek and you will findParticipantYes, I agree with you to vote we have to choose the best of all evil. I have not made up my mind if I am going to vote at all. It is sad and scary. But we are under Christ Blood and He did promise us that we will be saved from God's wrath, which I believe will be the worse . Those bad demons that are in chains right now will be loosed and this society is in trouble.
Peace adn Love Mrs.May 29, 2008 at 5:38 pm#90012CatoParticipantPolitics is always nasty business, there is nothing new here, but we were born into this world at this time for a reason and it is not merely to give praise to God and hope for salvation in the next life. We all have jobs to do and lessons to learn and hope for a better world (this world, the material earth) is a powerful motivator to do and be more then we are. I do not agree with Mr.Obama politically I don't trust him and I certainly will not vote for him, yet one part of his message I do agree with and which resonates, is that we have to hope and strive for a better future and believe it is possible. If we do not have this belief then we are already defeated and are giving up our God given responsibility to the planet and one another. Yet having said this it takes more them slogans and platitudes to do so, it takes work and compromise and realism about how the world actually works. Which is why I hope McCain gets the US nod.
May 29, 2008 at 8:49 pm#90070seek and you will findParticipantCato! If I will vote, I will vote for McCain too. But I will have to see what will happen. Mr. Mc.Cain is getting so old, and I just don't see how He can remember all. Mr. Lieberman had to remind Him one time. I will watch first before I make up ny nind. We still have all summer. It will be a hot one, in more then one way.
Peace and Love Mrs.???May 29, 2008 at 10:26 pm#90087TimothyVIParticipantIf McCain gets elected, we had better be happy with the vice president.
He may become president.Tim
May 31, 2008 at 3:06 am#90221942767ParticipantAll that we can do is exercise our best judgment based on the knowledge that is available to us. We never know what the circumstances will be during the term of whomever gets elected. I am sure that George Bush wasn't anticipating that airplanes would be flown into the towers. We can pray for whomever gets elected.
I am hearing alot of bad information about Obama.
God Bless
