The world was created in six nights and days and yet earth itself had no day until God separated its the day its night on the Fourth Night and Day. It seems that God’s “day” is when God says it is a day. The 1000 year argument is to presumptuous as it assumes every time God states a day he means a thousand years

Exactly besides the fact the bible also says:

17And to Adam he said, “Because you have listened to the voice of your wife and have eaten of the tree of which I commanded you, ‘You shall not eat of it,’ cursed is the ground because of you; in pain you shall eat of it

all the days

of your life;

Again this proves that God had Mercy and did not cause them to die because as the Quran says:

Then learnt Adam from his Lord words of inspiration, and his Lord Turned towards him; for He is Oft-Returning, Most Merciful.

( سورة البقرة , Al-Baqara, Chapter #2, Verse #37)

So although God could have easily killed them both his Mercy was greater than his wrath and this is no different from the time when God decided to kill all the Israelite in the desert and because of Moses God’s mercy was greater than his wrath. But there are times where things become so corrupt that God destroys it such as Sodom and Gomorrah and the flood

Isaiah 46:9 Remember the former things, those of long ago; I am God, and there is no other; I am God, and there is none like me.

Nick you are so confused, why do you think God keeps telling you that there is no other?

The worshippers of false Gods say: “If Allah had so willed, we should not have worshipped aught but Him – neither we nor our fathers,- nor should we have prescribed prohibitions other than His.” So did those who went before them. But what is the mission of messengers but to preach the Clear Message?
