Incarnation is of catholic theology.
Jesus Christ came in the flesh.
Sorry, The Word of God came in the flesh.Do you not know the definition of Incarnation?

I am not making any claims, I am just refining my understanding. Here goes…
God is a title.
YHVH is given that title to show he is The Supreme being.
He has stated that there is no God before him, which means…none greater, above, or equal to him.
Jesus Christ is his only begotten Son.
He is argued to also be God himself.
The folly seems to be in the understanding of the title God.
A better question would be…is Jesus YHVH himself?
—————————
My thoughts areJesus is no more YHVH than my 1 year old son would be me.
but because my 1 year old son is my son. He is heir to everything I own.
So if Jesus is YHVH's literal only begotten son, then he is heir to everything YHVH owns.
If YHVH owns everything, Jesus so too owns everything.
So it would seem that Jesus is not YHVH, but yes he is God.
(Now a God before YHVH…no, but a God indeed)am i wrong?
Hello Rokkaman,
Elohim = God and consists of two parts; the root and ending.
Elohi (root) = god(dess) (noun, fem)
m (ending) = suffix, masc, pluralThus God (Elohim) has two essences male and female.
Gen 1:27 God created man in God's image, male and female.YHVH = Male essence of Elohim; individual (Title = LORD; Name = I will be that I will be) (God The Father)
Holy Spirit = Female essence of Elohim; individual
Elohim = combined female and male essences (Title – explains God's being)You said, “Jesus Christ is his only begotten Son.” which is true (watch out for the word “begotten” as I see they like to argue about it here) and therefore the next statement that he is God cannot be true. Jesus cannot be a son and then be the parent (God) from where he came. Only in an insane and illogical world would anyone accept the statement that I am the son AND I am the my from whence I came. By definition a son is the OFFSPRING of parents and exists in a later point of time (God has no beginning; a son does).
Mathematically and logically your last statement can't be right: YHVH = God Jesus not equal YHVH but is God.
YHVH and Holy Spirit are the two essences in the one being God (Elohim) but Their son is not. He comes after them in time and is created (procreated “begotten”) by Them.
Therefore when the Bible says that God is “ONE” it uses the word 'Echad which means united and not one in number, which agrees with the definition of Elohim, Genesis 1:27; 2:24, and Deuteronomy 6:4 “Hear, O Israel! The LORD is our God, the LORD is one! (LORD is one (united) with whom? Holy Spirit!)
When you do a word lookup you will see that The Holy Spirit is a feminine noun, again agreeing with Elohim's two essences of male (YHVH) and female (Holy Spirit). And you will see The Holy Spirit as a separate entity (“person”). She is not the force of God The Father (YHVH) but rather is the power of God (Elohim) and knows the thoughts of God (YHVH). Problem with comparing Hebrew with Greek is that there is the one word Theos for God and many in Hebrew (Elohim, El). YHVH isn't in the NT…unless they agree on LORD.
Midnight-bewitching hour-going to bed.
God bless and keep up the thinking.

They share that Spirit.July 11, 2010 at 7:55 am#203065Ed JParticipantHi Nick,
Your question is answered with the following verse…
John 4:24 God is a Spirit: and they that worship him must worship in spirit and in truth. You also want me to expound on…
Romans 8:26 Likewise the Spirit also helpeth our infirmities:
for we know not what we should pray for as we ought: but the Spirit
itself maketh intercession for us with groanings which cannot be uttered.Line one is explained in the following verse…
Eph.5:26-27 That he might sanctify and cleanse it with the washing of water by the word,
That he might present it to himself a glorious church, not having spot, or wrinkle,
or any such thing; but that it should be holy and without blemish.Lines two and three are explained with the following…
1Cor.2:9-13 But as it is written, Eye hath not seen, nor ear heard,
neither have entered into the heart of man, the things which God
hath prepared for them that love him. But God hath revealed them
unto us by his Spirit: for the Spirit searcheth all things, yea, the deep
things of God. For what man knoweth the things of a man, save the spirit
of man which is in him? even so the things of God knoweth no man, but the Spirit of God.
Now we have received, not the spirit of the world, but the spirit which is of God; that we
might know the things that are freely given to us of God. Which things also we speak,
not in the words which man's wisdom teacheth, but which the HolySpirit teacheth;
comparing spiritual things with spiritual.Witnessing to the world in behalf of YHVH (Psalm 45:17)

Hi Oxy,Keep asking questions Oxy! (Mathew 7:7 / 2Tm.2:13)
Faith: Action based upon belief sustained by confidence.
The (Shaool) Apostle Paul says: Faith is the substance of
things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen. (Heb.11:1)God bless
