    Hi Everyone,

    Muslims teach differently than bodhitharta
We will discuss how BD's views differ
    from what Islam really teaches.

    Quote
    Sura 5:51 (Al-Ma'ida سورة المائدة‎)
O you who believe! Take not the Jews and the Christians for your friends and protectors:
they are but friends and protectors to each other. And he among you that turns to them for friendship is of them.
This friendship makes any Muslim a enemy of their own and deserving of the same fate as the unbeliever. This is because God does not guide an unjust people.

Yet BD has told us that he can take Mikeboll64, who is a Christian, for a friend.
This is not what Islam teaches! (Fourth post down at this link)

Why didn't you highlight the last sentence which says:

I said that Mike and a few others here acted Justly therefore of course we could be friends and that is what Islam teaches.

Did Pharaoh not let the Children of Israel go, against his own wishes?

    Hi BD,

    .

God did not guide pharaoh to be unjust, Pharaoh was already unjust.

Say: “See ye? If (this teaching) be from Allah, and ye reject it, and a witness from among the Children of Israel testifies to its similarity (with earlier scripture), and has believed while ye are arrogant, (how unjust ye are!) truly, Allah guides not a people unjust.”
    ( سورة الأحقاف , Al-Ahqaf, Chapter #46, Verse #10)

And before this, was the Book of Moses as a guide and a mercy: And this Book confirms (it) in the Arabic tongue; to admonish the unjust, and as Glad Tidings to those who do right.

God does not GUIDE the unjust the wicked are ever ready to destroy simply losing the guidance of God is all that is required for the wicked to descend on the rebellious.

How shall Allah Guide those who reject Faith after they accepted it and bore witness that the Messenger was true and that Clear Signs had come unto them? but Allah guides not a people unjust.
    ( سورة آل عمران , Aal-e-Imran, Chapter #3, Verse #86)

Verily Allah will not deal unjustly with man in aught: It is man that wrongs his own soul.

Hardening Pharaoh's heart is not guiding Pharaoh, Moses was guided.

ED you also do not understand this is in perfect alignment with the Quran

When the suffering reached them from us, why then did they not learn humility? On the contrary their hearts became hardened, and Satan made their (sinful) acts seem alluring to them.
    ( سورة الأنعام , Al-Anaam, Chapter #6, Verse #43)

    Sura #22

52 Never did We send an apostle or a prophet before thee, but, when he framed a desire, Satan threw some (vanity) into his desire: but Allah will cancel anything (vain) that Satan throws in, and Allah will confirm (and establish) His Signs: for Allah is full of Knowledge and Wisdom:
53 That He may make the suggestions thrown in by Satan, but a trial for those in whose hearts is a disease and who are hardened of heart: verily the wrong-doers are in a schism far (from the Truth):

Thenceforth were your hearts hardened: They became like a rock and even worse in hardness. For among rocks there are some from which rivers gush forth; others there are which when split asunder send forth water; and others which sink for fear of Allah. And Allah is not unmindful of what ye do.
    ( سورة البقرة , Al-Baqara, Chapter #2, Verse #74)

Is one whose heart Allah has opened to Islam, so that he has received Enlightenment from Allah, (no better than one hard-hearted)? Woe to those whose hearts are hardened against celebrating the praises of Allah. they are manifestly wandering (in error)!
    ( سورة الزمر , Az-Zumar, Chapter #39, Verse #22)

ED, the more rebellious and disobedient someone is Satan has the permission to entice them more and more it is not YHVH guiding them into rebelliousness it was already written:

    Genesis 4:7
If thou doest well, shalt thou not be accepted? and if thou doest not well, sin lieth at the door. And unto thee shall be his desire, and thou shalt rule over him.

    Hi BD,

Do you prostrate yourself five times a day in the direction of Mecca?
If not, why not; this is what Islam teaches Muslims to do, is it not?

    .

The fools among the people (pagans, hypocrites, and Jews) will say, “What has turned them (Muslims) from their Qiblah [prayer direction (towards Jerusalem)] to which they used to face in prayer.” Say, (O Muhammad صلى الله عليه وسلم) “To Allah belong both, east and the west. He guides whom He wills to the Straight Way.”
    ( سورة البقرة , Al-Baqara, Chapter #2, Verse #142)

And even if you were to bring to the people of the Scripture (Jews and Christians) all the Ayat (proofs, evidence, verses, lessons, signs, revelations, etc.), they would not follow your Qiblah (prayer direction), nor are you going to follow their Qiblah (prayer direction). And they will not follow each other's Qiblah (prayer direction). Verily, if you follow their desires after that which you have received of knowledge (from Allah), then indeed you will be one of the Zalimun (polytheists, wrong-doers).
    ( سورة البقرة , Al-Baqara, Chapter #2, Verse #145)

And every one has a direction to which he should turn, therefore hasten to (do) good works; wherever you are, Allah will bring you all together; surely Allah has power over all things.
    ( سورة البقرة , Al-Baqara, Chapter #2, Verse #148)

If you look above you will see 3 different lessons 1 Like Jews in the beginning Muslims use to pray towards Jerusalem but at that time being persecuted for it God gave them the direction of Mecca to pray towards now we know Christians in most places face no particular direction but the direction we should all face is doing what is good before God.

I pray more than 5 times a day and I try to pray unceasingly. I pray prostrate, on my side, standing, sitting, and I do this in all directions. I am glad you are asking these questions because you will learn the difference between basic teachings to advanced undertakings of learning.

For instance most people guard their speech when they go to Sunday church but speak with a foul mouth most of the week but there are others who never speak with a foul mouth so on Sunday there is nothing to guard
