    HI FF,
    Did the apostles err?
Thy did not seem to obey this command.
Perhaps we need witnessing verses that corroborate this verse.

    NH

The old “if it dosnt appear somewhere else in the Bible then it must not be scripture” Rule.

    How about this NH.

Matthew 28:18,19 appears in hundreds of manuscripts. No question it belongs there.

So by your rule we should pick and choose thoses scriptures taht agree with us.  :( ???

    Hi W,
    Examine the evidence.
    One gospel was written.
Many copies were made of it and only one witness to the original exists.
Scripture is pure but men have not been so reliable in handling it.
Show me other verses that prove it to be true.
    Where is this baptism practiced?

    Hi W,
I prefer the teachings of the messiah. Truth is always found in his mouth. He spoke of no godhead. He called the Father his God and our God and that seems plain enough to state that you are preaching falsehood.

Should you not listen to The Father God also?

    Heb 1:6-8
And again, when he bringeth in the firstbegotten into the world, he saith, And let all the angels of God worship him.
And of the angels he saith, Who maketh his angels spirits, and his ministers a flame of fire.
But unto the Son he saith, Thy throne, O God, is for ever and ever: a sceptre of righteousness is the sceptre of thy kingdom.

    Hi W,
For us there is ONE God the Father.
    Should we actually have two?

Turn the face.  Three in one my friend. Scripture teaches Jesus is God, One with the Father and the Spirit.

Jer 23:5-6 Behold, the days come, saith the LORD, that I will raise unto David a righteous Branch, and a King shall reign and prosper, and shall execute judgment and justice in the earth.
In his days Judah shall be saved, and Israel shall dwell safely: and this is his name whereby he shall be called, THE LORD (Yhovah)OUR RIGHTEOUSNESS.

    God is ONE.
Babylonian trinities do not belong in the church of God.

    Hi CB & WJ:

Just in case you missed this: “For there is ONE GOD, and ONE MEDIATOR between God and man, THE MAN CHRIST JESUS”. (1 Ti 2:5). This should end all discussion that there is any such “Trinity”.

No!!! What you guys dont understand is that the Apostles like John new that Jesus was not only one with God but he is the Son and mediator and everything else you see of him.

They made the distintion between the Father and the Son so that men would not confuse Jesus as being the Father. Oneness.

Now you take that one scripture and you say that settles it.

LOL. Says who. How about all these scriptures?

    Hi 94,
Human eyes see physical things. God is spirit, as is the Word and are the angels. They see God with spiritual eyes. God is not invisible to spiritual beings.

    Hi Nick:

The definition of the word invisible is “unseen or that which cannot be seen”.

Please give me scripture which shows that any one has seen God. Maybe I've missed something. If so, I'm teachable.

    Hi WJ:

Since all scripture is inspired by God (2 Tim. 3:16), I don't need to tell God anything about that which He has already spoken.

Again, “For there is ONE GOD, and ONE MEDIATOR between god and man, THE MAN CHRIST JESUS”.  (1 Ti 2:5)  He, God says, THE MAN CHRIST JESUS, and not me.

Hebrews 1:8-9 states: “But unto the SON he saith, thy throne O God, is for ever and ever: a sceptre of righteousness is the sceptre of thy kingdom.  (Why does the ONE GOD call Jesus God?)  I believe it is because: verse 9 states: “Thou hast loved righteousness, and hated iniquity, therefore, God, EVEN THY GOD (God talking to Jesus), hath anointed thee with the oil of gladness above THY FELLOWS(meaning I suppose all of mankind including all of the adopted sons of God).

Hebrews 1:1-3 states: “GOD, who at sundry times and in divers manners spake in times past unto the fathers by the prophets, hath in these last days spoken to us by HIS SON, who he hath appointed heir of all things, by whom also He made the worlds; WHO BEING THE BRIGHTNESS OF HIS GLORY, AND THE EXPRESS IMAGE OF HIS PERSON (He is God in this context), WHEN HE HAD BY HIMSELF PURGED OUR SINS, SAT DOWN ON THE RIGHT HAND OF THE MAJESTY ON HIGH”.

Joh 5:17  But Jesus answered them, My Father worketh hitherto, and I work.
Joh 5:18  Therefore the Jews sought the more to kill him, because he not only had broken the sabbath, but said also that God was his Father, making himself equal with God.

Mat 1:23  Behold, a virgin shall be with child, and shall bring forth a son, and they shall call his name Emmanuel, which being interpreted is, God with us.
Joh 14:1  Let not your heart be troubled: ye believe in God, believe also in me.

Acts 7:59, “And they stoned Stephen, calling upon God, and saying, Lord Jesus, receive my spirit.”

Joh 20:28  And Thomas answered and said unto him (Jesus), My Lord and my God (Theos).    :O

Mat 28:17  And when they saw him (Jesus), they worshipped him:     :O

There are Three separate Beings, each God and equal with one another. Though they hold different offices, they are nevertherless each God.

Three Divine beings within the Godhead with three different offices they choose to perform,

H2O can exist in three different realities, yet remain H20
    •Ice
    •Liquid
    •or Steam

Each Person of the Godhead can choose a different office, yet remain God.

Mat 28:19  Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost:

Isaiah 6:3  says, “And one cried unto another, and said, Holy, holy, holy, is the LORD of hosts: the whole earth is full of his glory.” Did you catch that?  That's one “holy” for each person of the Godhead!

All praise to God the Father… God the Son Jesus Christ… and God the Holy Spirit! ALL Three merit perfect praise. Holy, Holy, Holy! If there is only one God they would not have repeated the worshipful praise three times.

    Holy! Holy! Holy!

    And there's more!

Rev 4:8  And the four beasts had each of them six wings about him; and they were full of eyes within: and they rest not day and night, saying, Holy, holy, holy, Lord God Almighty, which was, and is, and is to come.

Mat 28:19  Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost:

    Holy! Holy! Holy!
    :O :O :O

    Hi CB,
You are on your own in your doctrines.
It would be wiser to have God and the Son of God and the prophets and apostles behind you
