As you know, you have been asked to answer this post of mine addressed to you since Jan. 9th or thereabout. I am putting it here in the “Hot Seat” in hopes that you will make it a priority, thanks. Here it is:
The Father identifies the Son as YHVH, see here:
Hebrews 1:10-12
O Lord (the Son),
You (the Son) laid the foundations of the earth,
and the heavens are the work of Your hands (the Son’s hands).
11They will perish, but You (the Son) remain;
they will all wear out like a garment.
12You (the Son) will roll them up like a robe;
like a garment they will be changed;
but You (the Son) remain the same,
and Your years (the Son’ years) will never end.”
This OT passage gives further witness to that here:
Compare with Psalm 102
24I say, “O my God (the Son), do not take me away in the midst of my days,
Your years (the Son’ years) are throughout all generations.25“Of old You (the Son) founded the earth,
And the heavens are the work of Your hands (the Son’ hands).26“Even they will perish, but You (the Son) endure;
And all of them will wear out like a garment;
Like clothing You (the Son) will change them and they will be changed.27“But You (the Son) are the same,
And Your years (the Son’s years) will not come to an end.The words in parenthesis are added by myself for clarification.
PC, who is the Father identifying as the YHVH who founded the earth and the heavens are the work of His hands if you claim that the Son is not YHVH?
Blessings, LU

For to which of the angels did God ever say,
God is not speaking
But about the Son he says,
The Son says…? The Psalmist says…?
Psalm 45 is directed at a human king. Some say Solomon. Another meaning of the word ‘theos’ is mighty one. If this can be said of a human king, then how much more the one who sits on throne next to God?
1 My heart is stirred by a noble theme
as I recite my verses for the king;
my tongue is the pen of a skillful writer.
2 You are the most excellent of men
and your lips have been anointed with grace,
since God has blessed you forever.
3 Gird your sword on your side, you mighty one;
clothe yourself with splendor and majesty.
4 In your majesty ride forth victoriously
in the cause of truth, humility and justice;
let your right hand achieve awesome deeds.
5 Let your sharp arrows pierce the hearts of the king’s enemies;
let the nations fall beneath your feet.
6 Your throne, O God, will last for ever and ever;
a scepter of justice will be the scepter of your kingdom.
7 You love righteousness and hate wickedness;
therefore God, your God, has set you above your companions
by anointing you with the oil of joy.June 28, 2021 at 10:17 am#871697LightenupParticipantIn Heb 1, I have written in parenthesis who I believe the pronouns apply to, maybe you can do the same exercise so we can see where we differ.
Heb 1:
1On many past occasions and in many different ways, God spoke to our fathers through the prophets. 2But in these last days He (the Father) has spoken to us by His Son, whom He (the Father) appointed heir of all things, and through whom He (the Father) made the universe.
3The Son is the radiance of God’s glory and the exact representation of His (the Father’s) nature, upholding all things by His (the Father’s or the Son’s) powerful word. After He (the Son) had provided purification for sins, He (the Son) sat down at the right hand of the Majesty on high. 4So He (the Son) became as far superior to the angels as the name He (the Son) has inherited is excellent beyond theirs. 5For to which of the angels did God ever say:
“You (the supposed angel) are My Son;
today I (the Father) have become Your Father”?
Or again:
“I will be His (the supposed angel’s) Father,
and He ( he is the supposed angel) will be My (the Father’s) Son”?
6And again, when God brings His (the Father’s) firstborn into the world, He (the Father) says:
“Let all God’s angels worship Him.” (“Him” is the Son)
7Now about the angels He (the Father) says:
“He (the Son) makes His (the Son’s angels) angels winds,
His (the Son’s servants) servants flames of fire.”
8But about the Son He (the Father) says:
“Your throne, O God (God the Son), endures forever and ever,
and justice is the scepter of Your (the Son’s) kingdom.
9You (the Son) have loved righteousness
and hated wickedness;
therefore God, Your (the Son’s God) God, has anointed You (the Son)
above Your (the Son’s companions) companions with the oil of joy.”
10And:
“In the beginning, O Lord (YHVH), You (the Son) laid the foundations of the earth,
and the heavens are the work of Your (the Son’s) hands.
11They will perish, but You (the Son) remain;
they will all wear out like a garment.
12You (the Son) will roll them up like a robe;
like a garment they will be changed;
but You (the Son) remain the same,
and Your (the Son’s) years will never end.”
13Yet to which of the angels did God ever say:
“Sit at My (the Father’s) right hand
until I (the Father) make Your enemies a footstool for Your (the Son’s) feet”?
14Are not the angels ministering spirits sent to serve those who will inherit salvation?
Will you do the same Proclaimer? Put the referrant to the pronoun. next to the pronoun.
Thanks.
