    1. judgment by our heavenly Father on whether a man will go to heaven or hell

    2. judgment to evaluate or estimate or give an opinion on. like weighing between buying the red car or the blue car.

number 1, we don't do. what about number 2? seems like there are 2 definitions for the same word, “judgment.”

BrandonIke, we are not to judge people's hearts or minds( because they will judge themselves with their own words), but we are to make righteous judgement and discern religious teachings, the false from the true with the true scriptures and the torah.

    Hi b,
It is the judgement of our God that we need to avoid.
“All have sinned and fallen short of the glory of God”.
The only way to do this is to be reborn into His Son whom He loves and cannot judge. Our sin is forgiven and we live forever by the Spirit He shares with us and His family.

Then of us it can be said
” There is now no condemnation for those in Christ Jesus”Rom 8.1f

    Hi,
    Jn 5.24
” Truly, Truly ,I say to you, he who hears my word and believes Him who sent me, HAS ETERNAL LIFE, AND DOES NOT COME INTO JUDGEMENT, but has passed out of death into life”

    The word of Yeshua is

    “You must be born again.”

That is the sure WAY how to avoid judgement and the second death.

Nick, You must be developing Alshiemers, because you so soon forget, that to Escape Judgment and the second death( Rev.20:13-14), is by a “” Change “” from a physical mortal body, to an ” immortal spiritual body” at Messiah's coming( 1 Cor.15:50-55).

Then, and ONLY then, will a person be FINALLY “” BORN AGAIN “” by a “” change “”( from mortal to immortal)if alive, or by a “resurrection ” if they are dead, at Messiah's coming.

Have you done that “” pin test “” , if you go “” OUCH “”, then you can be certain, that you have not been “” born again “” by that change at Messiah's coming.

Have you done that “pin test ” yet?

    Hi e,
So you have not yet been born again? So when Yeshua was speaking to Nicodemus he was telling him to do something he was not capable of doing? If you have not been through the gate how can you be anointed as a teacher?
    1Peter 1.3
” Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who according to His great mercy HAS CAUSED US TO BE BORN AGAIN to a living hope, through the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead”

    Hi e,
It does not say in scripture that receiving our new heavenly body is the moment of our rebirth. We are now sons of Yahweh and brothers of Yeshua, who are in Yeshua.
    Tit 3.5
” He saved us, not on the basis of deeds which we have done in righteousness, but according to His mercy, by the washing of regeneration and renewing by the Holy Spirit, who he poured out upon us richly through Jesus Christ our Saviour”

    Hi,
So after the trinunal of Christ when those given an investment of the Spirit will be examined for fruit all natural men will be resurrected and face the judgement.

It does not take long as the group is divided into two groups and the judgement is according to certain works.

    Mt 25
14For the kingdom of heaven is as a man travelling into a far country, who called his own servants, and delivered unto them his goods.

15And unto one he gave five talents, to another two, and to another one; to every man according to his several ability; and straightway took his journey.

16Then he that had received the five talents went and traded with the same, and made them other five talents.

17And likewise he that had received two, he also gained other two.

18But he that had received one went and digged in the earth, and hid his lord's money.

19After a long time the lord of those servants cometh, and reckoneth with them.

20And so he that had received five talents came and brought other five talents, saying, Lord, thou deliveredst unto me five talents: behold, I have gained beside them five talents more.

21His lord said unto him, Well done, thou good and faithful servant: thou hast been faithful over a few things, I will make thee ruler over many things: enter thou into the joy of thy lord.

22He also that had received two talents came and said, Lord, thou deliveredst unto me two talents: behold, I have gained two other talents beside them.

23His lord said unto him, Well done, good and faithful servant; thou hast been faithful over a few things, I will make thee ruler over many things: enter thou into the joy of thy lord.

24Then he which had received the one talent came and said, Lord, I knew thee that thou art an hard man, reaping where thou hast not sown, and gathering where thou hast not strawed:

25And I was afraid, and went and hid thy talent in the earth: lo, there thou hast that is thine.

26His lord answered and said unto him, Thou wicked and slothful servant, thou knewest that I reap where I sowed not, and gather where I have not strawed:

27Thou oughtest therefore to have put my money to the exchangers, and then at my coming I should have received mine own with usury.

28Take therefore the talent from him, and give it unto him which hath ten talents.

29For unto every one that hath shall be given, and he shall have abundance: but from him that hath not shall be taken away even that which he hath.

30And cast ye the unprofitable servant into outer darkness: there shall be weeping and gnashing of teeth.

31When the Son of man shall come in his glory, and all the holy angels with him, then shall he sit upon the throne of his glory:

32And before him shall be gathered all nations: and he shall separate them one from another, as a shepherd divideth his sheep from the goats:

33And he shall set the sheep on his right hand, but the goats on the left.

34Then shall the King say unto them on his right hand, Come, ye blessed of my Father, inherit the kingdom prepared for you from the foundation of the world:

35For I was an hungred, and ye gave me meat: I was thirsty, and ye gave me drink: I was a stranger, and ye took me in:

36Naked, and ye clothed me: I was sick, and ye visited me: I was in prison, and ye came unto me.

37Then shall the righteous answer him, saying, Lord, when saw we thee an hungred, and fed thee? or thirsty, and gave thee drink?

38When saw we thee a stranger, and took thee in? or naked, and clothed thee?

39Or when saw we thee sick, or in prison, and came unto thee?

40And the King shall answer and say unto them, Verily I say unto you, Inasmuch as ye have done it unto one of the least of these my brethren, ye have done it unto me.

41Then shall he say also unto them on the left hand, Depart from me, ye cursed, into everlasting fire, prepared for the devil and his angels:

42For I was an hungred, and ye gave me no meat: I was thirsty, and ye gave me no drink:

43I was a stranger, and ye took me not in: naked, and ye clothed me not: sick, and in prison, and ye visited me not.

44Then shall they also answer him, saying, Lord, when saw we thee an hungred, or athirst, or a stranger, or naked, or sick, or in prison, and did not minister unto thee?

45Then shall he answer them, saying, Verily I say unto you, Inasmuch as ye did it not to one of the least of these, ye did it not to me.

46And these shall go away into everlasting punishment: but the righteous into life eternal.

    Hi:

As I have stated elsewhere, my understanding is that those in the OT have already been judged and if they died in their sins they will not be resurrected to be judged further. They are dead. The blood of Jesus is the propitation for the sins of all who were saved from the OT and for all that come to God through Jesus in the NT. Those in the NT era who died in their sins will be judged if alive at the coming of the Lord for the church by the seven last plagues, and if they died in their sins, they will be resurrected and judged at the great white throne judgment at the second resurrection.

The following scripture may have given the indication that all in the OT will be raised again to be judged, but if you read closely, I believe that you will see that Jesus is talking about judging those who rejected his Word in the NT era.

    Quote
Jhn 5:22 For the Father judgeth no man, but hath committed all judgment unto the Son:

Jhn 5:23 That all [men] should honour the Son, even as they honour the Father. He that honoureth not the Son honoureth not the Father which hath sent him.

Jhn 5:24 Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that heareth my word, and believeth on him that sent me, hath everlasting life, and shall not come into condemnation; but is passed from death unto life.

Jhn 5:25 Verily, verily, I say unto you, The hour is coming, and now is, when the dead shall hear the voice of the Son of God: and they that hear shall live.

    Jhn 5:26 For as the Father hath life in himself; so hath he given to the Son to have life in himself;

Jhn 5:27 And hath given him authority to execute judgment also, because he is the Son of man.

Jhn 5:28 Marvel not at this: for the hour is coming, in the which all that are in the graves shall hear his voice,

Jhn 5:29 And shall come forth; they that have done good, unto the resurrection of life; and they that have done evil, unto the resurrection of damnation.

Jhn 5:30 I can of mine own self do nothing: as I hear, I judge: and my judgment is just; because I seek not mine own will, but the will of the Father which hath sent me.

Did not Jesus ransom Adam, and lifted the death curse from all of us?
Is not Adam from the O.T?
Are not all from the O.T. in their grave? so were does this all who have died, all shall live again, come in?

    Hi Georg,
    Is Adam in the grave?
    Jn5
28Marvel not at this: for the hour is coming, in the which all that are in the graves shall hear his voice,

29And shall come forth; they that have done good, unto the resurrection of life; and they that have done evil, unto the resurrection of damnation.
